Burdock, Yellow Dock Blood Problems (skin)

Herbal Remedy's OF Burdock and Its Cousin Yellow Dock
Burdock Root is one of my basic herbs and is easily gathered in our back yards. However, leave the root and scatter the seeds for next year. If we all strip it from nature we do harm for the plant, environment. Theirs plenty if we don’t get too greedy. It’s not costly at your local health food stores and in used many formulas. Its common names are Lappa, Lappa minor, Thorny Burr, Beggar's Button, and Cloth burr.
It grows in North America, from Asia and Europe. Is found along roadsides and all vacant lots. If you venture out in the open areas, you will remember Burdock's burrs as it adhere to clothes and to your animal. It has a purple flower which bloom in July and August and when it dry out it has its troublesome burr. In Japan is sometime planted for its enlarged parsnip-like roots that are eaten as a boiled vegetable. In Russia is known as Repeinik or Lopuh very close to the Latin name Lappa.
Parts Used: Roots, seed, leaves, stems and whole herb. It can be made into extracts, ointments, tinctures and oils for the same purpose as Folk Medicine administered for generations.
 It is a Diaphoretic, Diuretic and Alternative. Herbalist all over the world use Burdock. It is an effective and ultimate blood purifying plant has well earned the unpretending authentic value for which we know it is capable.

The root and seed of Arctium Lappa is a soothing demulcent, tonic, alternative; it slowly but steadily cleanses skin, soothes the kidneys and relieves the lymphatic; eliminates boils, carbuncles, canker sores, sties, felons, etc. Soothing to mucous membrane
throughout the entire system, and is also used for gout, rheumatism, scrofula, syphilis, sciatica, gonorrhea and kidney diseases
.
 It is best used with more stimulating agents

Burdock is a mildly laxative. It also aids in the elimination of uric acid. The herb contains polyacetylenes that have both anti-bacterial; anti-fungal properties. By improving the function of many organs of elimination (liver, kidneys, bowels), many health conditions can be improved. Burdock is primarily a tonic and alternative herb. The cumulative effect of its use is said to bring a subtle strengthening and cleansing to the entire system. Though most of the therapeutic benefits attributed to this stately herb have not been clinically proven, burdock has been long tested in folk use, and is a safe, if mild, herbal remedy. It promotes perspiration and the release of toxins from the body. It is great in clearing up such skin conditions as ache, psoriasis and dry, scaly eczema. It works best when used over a period of time i.e. the bitter properties of burdock particularly noticeable in the dried leaf and seed, stimulate bile secretions. It is a good digestive herb and liver remedy. Burdock's anti-microbial and fungi static properties have been traced to as many as 14 different polyacetylene compounds in the root. Burdock has also been used to treat boils, canker sores, carbuncles, measles, and sties. It will help restore friendly bacteria in the system after antibiotic use, and may bring relief in cases of chronic arthritis and gout.
Burdock may also help reduce blood sugar levels (liver). Burdock roots contain from 27-45 per cent insulin, and up to 12 per cent protein, as well as oils and other trace minerals. Therefore it is easy to understand why they consider food as medicine, and medicine as food. It is best to collect the roots of one or two year old plants in autumn. This is the problem with the health stores and others who sell wild herbs i.e. they are not paying attention to "how old is the plant" I know many plants they sell that are not ripe...in herbal terms. Now wonder they're not as effective in healings.

Pregnant women should not use burdock, as it has a reported action as a uterine stimulant.
Tincture of Burdock Root 10-20 drops (Tincture can be made from the crushed root marinated with vinegar or alcohol then used. Combine one
part fresh herb to three parts alcohol (50% alcohol/water solution) in glass container. Set aside in dark place. Shake daily for two weeks.
Strain through muslin or cheesecloth, and store in dark bottle. The tincture should maintain potency for two years. Standard dosage, unless otherwise prescribed, is 1/2 tsp, three times daily.) Add in tincture of Lobelia
Externally: The leaves will be found very useful in fever, by bruising and apply to the forehead, or to the soles. For burns, shred the bruised leaves fine and fold into a stiffly beaten egg white; it will relieve the pain and hasten healing.
Homeopathic; Tincture of fresh root--Acne, Bunion, Dupuytren's contraction, Eczema serpeginosa, eruptions, phosphaturia, rheumatism, ringworm, scrofula, sterility, ulcers, uterus (prolapsus of) and used in diabetes.

Practical Uses:
In Russia, it could be use as they prepare a pit for fish or game wrapping the Burdock leaves (no seasoning) around the meat. They also use it as a hair tonic to grow hair.
In the Kitchen the roots are roasted and used for coffee; the fresh root is eatable in soup instead of potatoes; fried as cutlets and pancakes. Cut very fine and boiled with apple cider vinegar and Yellow dock with appitionic sour cream, they make a tasty and nutritious jam.

Yellow Dock (Cousin) A herb I always use or have on hand in my medicine cupboard, and I know where and how to gather it.
Known to North American Indians as the tobacco plant and in the fall is finished with its many seeds. It’s found in dry areas near by burdock plants. Do not pick near roads (lead poisoning). Tinctures can be made the same as its burdock cousin.
Note that its companion Yellow Dock has very similar properties. This is a blood purifying herb or in other words it will keep the liver clean, and is very high in minerals such as iron. No herbalist would be without this basic in his or any cupboard. Yellow Dock is a bit different, but similar properties to Burdock. I love it for any skin problems, (even boils).
The primary chemical constituents of Yellow Dock Root include anthraquinone glycosides, tannins, resins, oxalates, and iron. It also contains varying amounts of phosphorus, vitamins A and C, and calcium.
Yellow Dock is valued even more so today as one of the best available sources of iron. Yellow Dock's high iron content makes it beneficial for treating anemia and pregnant women.
Yellow Dock is used to purify the blood supplied to the glands, improving the flow of bile; digestive fluids. Yellow Dock has also been known to help improve bladder and liver functions, and reduce bowel inflammation and  swelling.
This herb can be used to treat some cases of jaundice, and skin eruptions associated with the toxicity of the intestines. Another use for Yellow Dock is as a laxative to help relieve mild constipation.
Yellow Dock improves the function of the kidneys, liver, lymph glands, and intestines, thus aiding the body's natural cleansing processes. It has been used to help the body eliminate pollutants, including heavy metals such as lead and arsenic.
You can even cook and eat Yellow Dock as herb to improve vision. Yellow Dock helps to free up iron stored in the liver, thus making it more available to the rest of the body. It is a good herb for leukemia cases, or when the white count is too high.
I actually had an experience with a young man who reversed his leuhemia with fresh root of yellow dock he gathered from his farm pasture. He and I was greatly surprised with its fast results.
I've use this wild herb for boils, making the head go through the blood not coming to a painful head.
This herb is to  be taken everyday just as you would a drug. It will rid any skin probems. Skin problems are signs that the liver is over-loaded and thowing out toxins through the blood-skin. (even boils)

Frittata, Spanish Omelet


Frittata, Spanish Vegetable Omelet
“Frittata” is a Spanish omelet. This one has fresh organic eggs, your choice of chopped vegetables, fresh herbs, and some graded organic cheese. It's simple basics for a healthy breakfast, brunch or even dinner. By adding more/less eggs and vegetable you can get more servings in this recipe. You can add cream sauce, cream of “whatever” soup, depending on your tastes or sour cream, and avocado, and use topping of salsa i.e. Research is showing eggs are now proven good for health and weight. Be sure to add a organic whole wheat fibrous bread or brown rice to your meal.

"Eyeball" your ingredient to your pan to make it your own. I keep frozen vegetables in plastic bags even some chopped herbs ready to put into any recipes. I just take a tablespoons or handful out as needed. For instance, I may bring home green onions or take Swiss chard from my garden or on buy vegetable on sale that week. After cleaning them, washing, cutting up and putting them in containers or zip lock bags. They’re now ready to use throughout the month in recipes and saving lots of money and time. It's an easy way to make more cooking time at home easier and especially if your single, or busy person working outside the home.
Frittata
4 eggs
Fresh basil
Shallots *(1)
Diced red peppers or pepper flakes*(2)
Vegetables, (Swiss chard, chopped zucchini, mushrooms i.e., whatever you
have chopped)
Shredded Cheese (your choice) Fresh Parmesan, Mozzarella, M. jack, Cheddar, etc.
2 TB. Olive oil, grape or Safflower oil
2 TB. Liquid, Cream, milk or water
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350-400; lightly grease a 9X13 pan (for more eggs) or smaller pan if using only 4 eggs and an iron skillet is handy. Heat olive oil, add the sauté onion, red peppers add zucchini till opaque and season to taste.
Beat eggs, 2 Tbs. liquids and some of the cheese until smooth. Add in vegetables and herbs pour into a well-greased pan. Sprinkle cheese on top then into the oven.

Top of Stove
You can do this on the top of the stove on med. low heat with the lid on. (If in a hurry don't sauté the vegetables first)
* "Eye ball" the amount of vegetable that you have on hand in the recipe.
Mushrooms, red sweet peppers, any greens can be substituted.
*(1) Green Onion or 1/2 diced red onion, even garlic etc.
*(2) Any kind peppers you have will do.
Topping
1/2 to 1-diced avocado,
Small diced fresh tomato
Topped with sour cream
*Salsa can be use instead of the fresh-diced tomato.
*Use the organic eggs and dairy for better health with weight control too. It the hormones that are accumulative in the body and it all add up. The hormones given to cow and chicken are there to increase milk production, and to make the chickens bigger or fat. All these benefits are passed on to your body too.

Quick Cookies, Fruit Cakes From Cake Mix

Quick Cake Mix Cookies or Fruit Cakes
In a pinch use a cake-mix or other such pre-mixes to make cookies or, even fruit cakes by adding in such dried fruits, nuts or, bananas, carrots, raisins, chips, coconut, protein, fiber, etc. It's very efficient, cost effective and make mixes more healthy. Add in flax seed oil as an egg replacement or, mayo in place of eggs.
Did you know you could add in mayo instead of the oil and get a softer cookie? Or, just add in 2 tbl of yogurt, zucchini, graded apples, or carrots i.e. will also add in moisture. These moist mayo choc. cookies will taste better the next day. Your basics is the adding in of margarine if your vegan (oil) and use no water.

My mother-in-law uses to bake banana bread with a yellow cake mix by adding in a banana, nuts, and bit less-more liquid. Add in fiber with flax seed etc. and, it goes on... just use your imagination.
I collect recipes that are handy to have in an emergency. Cake mixes can be bought on sale are cheaper to make than buying from a bakery, or, from scratch, or from expensive cookie mixes;  adjust and add in bit of oatmeal, peanut-chocolate chips, coconut or fiber even a bit of whole wheat by the tablespoons until the dough suits your tastes of the raw dough, especially if the mix may have too much sugar. If you are adding frosting's, always cut the sugar when ever possible.
As you go along with this method/idea you’ll get quite proficient at making these cookies from a box,, buying it on sale. To store for a long time then, freeze boxes of cake mixes in a large plastic bag in over night then take out + store for an emergency event. Best secret-No weevil either.

For good cooking sense, when they raise at their peak in the oven continue to bake a few minutes more and let them finish baking on top of the stove on baking sheets.
 Two, never leave the kitchen when cookies are in the oven. It's a cookie-baker's golden rule.
Three always have a timer.
 Four, Cool then remove to a paper product such as towel, paper sack, newspaper, tea towel, or rack.
to absorbing any excess oil.
Five for a nice tan crust always use baking papers/sheets or, never let aluminum pans get to dark. This will cause the crust of the cookie to become too dark. Glass is good to cook on and special pan are now available. Six, Some cookies need a Pam cooking spray, however too much oil will give you a too dark crust on the bottom.
Seven, Make a dough-roll of any left overs in wax paper or store in plastic for about a dozen cookies to cook for another time. Or, freeze them on old cookies sheets in the freezer. Then after frozen take them off while still frozen and store them in plasitc, so not to over-eat them at one time. It will be easy to pop a few in for children for after school snacks.
 You can use any cake mix flavor, add more chocolate to a cheaper cake mixes, buy at health food stores or non-gluten styles.
Tip: Buy up at the dollar stores on sugar cookie mixes because it's my basic's mix for all the above suggestions to any of these methods of baking semi home made boxed cookies.


Vanilla Dough:
1 (18.25-ounce) box white cake mix
1/3 cup oil
4 tablespoons butter, melted (or, skip the oil and butter and one cube of margarine or shortening)
1 egg, beaten to blend
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted

Or,
Chocolate Dough:
1 (18.25-ounce) box devil's food cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg, beaten to blend
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly toasted

Vanilla Dough preparation: Beat cake mix, oil, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in large bowl until dough forms. Stir in walnuts.
Chocolate Dough preparation: Beat cake mix, oil, melted butter, egg, and vanilla in large bowl
until dough forms. Stir in walnuts.
Cookie preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Scoop 1 teaspoon of vanilla dough into ball. Scoop 1 teaspoon of chocolate dough into ball. Gently press dough balls together, and
then roll gently to form one ball. Place 20 balls on an un-greased
baking sheet, spaced evenly apart. Bake for 10 minutes, or just
until cookies begin to brown. Cool cookies on cookie sheets for 5
minutes. Transfer cookies to cooling racks and cool completely.
Repeat with remaining chocolate and vanilla dough, forming about
6-dozen cookies total. Store in airtight container at room
temperature up to 2 days, or freeze up to 3 months

Clorox Cleans Fruit, Vegetables and Bathing

Clorox, is a good body cleanser, other brand are not proven as effective, is an effective for Clorox bathing, and works great to clear foods (vegetables, fruits) of pesticides, parasites, bacteria like salmonella. Food even last longer and meats are disinfected and tenderized thus flavor enhanced.
This product oxygenating of sodium hypochlorite, breaks down to salt and water should not be confused with CHLORINE, which is a chemical disinfectant thats known to be added to drinking water. In third world poverty countries, where basics are non-existing "health missionaries" use a little in a quart of water for a douche for women with female problems, or vinegar will work.
Clorox bathing has been around for decades. Military families stationed overseas in Southeast Asia, China and Turkey has used Clorox properties through the recommendations of Government program.
My southern mother passed this remedy down to me. She said to add it to your bath water to get rid of poison ivy or oak. I used every product the doctor suggest and oatmeal but nothing relieve this spreading and itching until I remember what my mother said her family used, and it went away with one bath.
I have used a solution of Clorox to wash down kitchen, cupboard, and floors, rinsed poultry fish meat etc. with this product when so poor when could not afford any cleaning product with great success.
Research of Dr. Parcell show in the research he did that that Clorox removed pesticides, parasites, bacteria, and most contaminants with a simple soak of Clorox and water. There are different soaking times for fruits and vegetable from 15 to 30 minutes (See Beyond Pritikin 1988) Soaking vegetable or fruit may remove some nutrients, and you may prefer apple cider vinegar followed by hydrogen peroxide (food grade) that can have the same results.
Clorox is a natural cheap remedy to consider and store up for bad time. It also has been used in drop to gallon of water as a purifier. (Not Chlorine the chemical)

Naturally Whiten Teeth Remedy

How to naturally Whiten Teeth
The secret to this inexpensive home whitening method is malic acid, which acts as an astringent to remove surface discoloration. Combined with baking soda, strawberries become a natural tooth-cleanser, buffing away stains from coffee, red wine, and dark sodas. While it’s no replacement for a bleaching treatment at your dentist’s office, “this is a fast, cheap way to brighten your smile,” says Adina Carrel, DMD, a dentist in private practice at Manhattan Dental Arts in New York. “Be careful not to use this too often, though, as the acid could damage the enamel on your teeth.” (Hydrogen Proxide when brushing will also keep your teeth white.)

You need:
1 ripe strawberry
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions: Crush the strawberry to a pulp, then mix with the baking powder until blended. Use a soft toothbrush to spread the mixture onto your teeth. Leave on for 5 minutes, then brush thoroughly with toothpaste to remove the berry–baking soda mix. Rinse. (A little floss will help get rid of any strawberry seeds.) Carrel says you can apply once a week. Note too, just dip your brush in baking soda for clean teeth and refreshed mouth.

ORSA CLAY FOR EYES AND BACTERIUM RASH

Orsa Clay is a natural remedy to have on hand at all time when you learn how to use it. Make a paste of it with water and spread it over the buttock problem area if you have any kind of bacterium rash or yeast rash from the colon or bowel movements. (Leave on over night) This will work when all the other natural remedies have failed.


At the other end of the spectrum are the eyes. It is great for Pinkeye Infectious keratoconjunctivitis or pinkeye (eye gnats) along with it’s parasite. Just make a paste of it, mixing, preferable using distilled water or purified water, then apply it over the entire infected eye area. Get a bit in the inside corner too. This will take the redness out. You may need to apply it more than once, and let it dry completely on the lid and skin then with a damp cloth remove later when all is dry and re apply.
If you have contacts they will be infected too. They are porous because being made of plastic and will have the parasite. They will also absorb the grittiness of the clay on the lenses. Soak your contacts in a solution of the clay and water and then really rinse with water and again with water and a teaspoon of white vinegar then rinse again and dry. If you can afford to it may be better to throw the contacts away avoiding any re infection.

As you probably already know you can have pink eye in one iris and contaminate the other when wiping out the puss.
Add more especially fresh fruits (vitamin C) to your diet and treat for parasites in the body too.

Bottled Water From Cola Companies

"Bottled water sales in the past have grown mainly from consumers moving to water from soda and other sugary beverages," fueled by rising childhood and adult obesity rates.
But ads for bottled water don't push the health angle, because many bottled water companies also sell soda. For example, Aquafina is made by PepsiCo and Dasani by Coca-Cola. Nestle -- which does not sell soda -- is now seeking to counter "concerns that bottled water is a bad choice for the environment" by raising concerns about the health impact of soda.
Its new "antisoda" campaign is focused on "the Hispanic community because it drinks more bottled water than most other ethnic groups." Nestle's antisoda ads, which appear on U.S. Spanish-language channels like Univision and TeleFutura, promote the company's Pure Life bottled water. The ads feature talk-show host Cristina Saralegui, who says, "Drinking water instead of three sugary drinks per week for a year will spare you seven pounds of fat." The Hispanic marketing agency behind the ads, Castells & Asociados, says they have been "off-the-charts effective." Publicis' Dallas office is working on an English-language version.
Remember when you buy, you feed, or reinforce. Watch what you buy and reasonings behind building that company up or fueling it for bad purposes, such as their don't give a dam, stocks need to go up. Purchase with your buying power by reinforcing the good products that are out there. Need I say more?

Sour Dough Starter From Scratch

Sour Dough Starter
You may need to have this for a basic emergency recipe to have handy. If your over weight you are sensitive to yeast. There is “yeast in the air” and there are starters in HFS and different yeast started than your area on the Internet for sale if this does not work in your area. Remember a sour dough starter is not the same as a yeast starter. (Both is covered on this page.)
Subject: SOUR DOUGH STARTER from scratch... (Called Mother Sponge)
(Mix well in glass type of bottle with lid or crock pot style of jar:)
· 1 cups flour
· 2 cups warm water
· 2 teaspoons honey
2. Leave uncovered to ferment 4 days in warm room. Stir several days in warm room. Stir several times a day to aerate. It will smell yeasty and small bubbles will come to the top.
3. After using, some of the made-made yeast starter in baking, feed the starter to replace amount taken out, using equal parts of flour and water, or potato water. Let stand in warm place 24 hours to be ready to use again.
4. Store unused portion in a refrigerator, tightly covered in a glass jar or crock or crock jar with seal able lids. Shake it often. To activate it again after storage, add 2-3 tablespoons flour and 2-3 tablespoons of water stir and store.
*Next is a yeast starter that can at least help make your yeast go twice as far especially in today’s economy. You can use homemade yeast in replacement for all or part of the commercial yeast in a recipe, but allow 24 hours to bloom and use, replace i.e. Remember to keep all the ingredients going. Feed Me Feed Me!

A Sour Dough Starter is not the same as this yeast starter.
Everlasting “Yeast” Starter
In an emergency, we will need a yeast starter it is basic, but has to be fed, so do not ignore.
At today’s prices maybe now.
1. Stir well, then put in warm place until doubled...1-quart warm potato water
½ pkg or ½ tablespoon dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups flour
Use in place of yeast and part of liquid in yeast breads.
2. Leave a small amount of the yeast mixture for start for next baking, adding all ingredients except yeast.
3. Keep in refrigerator until a few hours before next baking
4. May be substituted for commercial yeast called for in any recipe but allow 24 hours to rise.

SOURDOUGH BREAD
Ingredients
Sourdough or Sponge called baby sponge use 1 cup four one pound loaf
Warm water (90-100F) 1/3 cup
Salt 1 tsp.
Bread Flour (11-13% protein) 2 cups
If you use yeast (1/4 to 1/2 tsp.) optional
If you want to make a 2 lb loaf just double the recipe
If you need to increase the protein in your flour add 1 Tbs. wheat gluten per cup of flour.
Bread preparation

Combine all ingredients and mix. Knead dough for 15 min if by hand or 10 minutes.
Flatten dough in a large bowl, dust with flour, and cover with plastic wrap. Rest for 6-8 hours in warm place.
Shape dough into desired shapes, baguette or artisan style of loafs etc.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it proof for 4-5 hours or overnight in refrigerator and doubled in size.
Dough will be ready to bake when poked with index finger and the hole stays indented.
With sharp knife cut a design into the top of the bread dough.
Preheat oven to 475 and place a pan with 1-2 inches of water on the bottom shelf of the oven.
Wait till the water is steaming then the oven is ready.
Then reduce the heat to 425F and bake for 30 45 minutes. Cool before cutting.

Weight And Disease Affected By Gut Flora

Caution Too Hot of Foods/Beverages Effect Our Gut Flora (Stomach, bowel Issues)
Eating too hot or cold beverages or foods is too hard on the gut and even our teeth. First, it is no wonder we have stomach acids and colon problems. They are mostly because we do not enough floras in the digestive system, and get a yeast spill over. We kill most natural flora to pro biotic off. The most popular food for this is yogurt and sale could not be better. This kill off sets us up with the number one problem and that is yeast, which effect weight, diabetes, and most other diseases.
Secondly, Teeth have a uniquely enamel that contract and expand depending if food is too hot or at very cold temperatures (ice in beverages) when we eat and drink them. Cracks then decay moves in when too cold of food hits a tooth, but it cracks like glass if hot temperature introduces too soon afterwards. It is because of excesses of too hot or cold temperatures (even ice cream) than sugars decays has a way of getting into and through in the tooth enamel.
In addition, the gut needs to remain at a normal body temperature so not to eradicate its natural flora. That is why so much stomach and bowel disease that is increasing. Drugs do not cure this probable because they do not get to the core of it. So many are trying to bring back the “natural flora in the gut” that’s been destroyed by too hot or cold food in the gut and now have stomach problems and effects and passes on down to though out the bowels. Simple remedies do not do it all. Remember a child will naturally refuse to hot or cold food in the beginning until their trained other wise or by example.
Home Made sauerkraut (that’s not pasteurized and the recipe’s in this blog) Break nature’s rules then you’ll need probiotic foods i.e. yogurt with many bacillus, sauerkraut, pickles, softer white cheeses, and other fermentation's, may help to bring some of this back
Do not eat or drink any thing into the stomach and bowel that will kill its natural flora if you want to keep good healthy body.
Another example is, the over run over of yeast and fungi that causes an unbalance of anti bodies and natural flora. We need to try to keep nature in balance.
Water at room temperature can be utilized immediately but not if it too hot or cold. Too extreme temperature of the body has to use more energy to turn it into the body’s norm temperature. When you change body temperature it creates an artificial fever or it may go toward cold death if too extremes. (Brain Freeze is not healthy) This also includes all hot or too cold foods not just beverages.
Very seldom do I recommend any weight-loss book. They all have a general principle that sell the book as a fad for a while and then may becomes educational for an idea and worth the price of it. Depends if it will work for you... right? I'm recommending Fat Flush Plan by Gittleman, because the "FLUSH" means to get rid of the yeast and back the flora of the body then the "water logged body" will lose its stored fat or weight. (No, I don't agree with every page...and that's OK too.)

Vegetarian Bacon Recipe

Making Vegetarian BaconIt’s a great meat substitute for some of us who are making a vegetarian transition, or who want to eat less meat. It make up beautifully to BLT sandwich, breakfast sandwich, wraps, pizzas, Reuben sandwiches (toasted with rye bread, vegetarian soy cheese, sauerkraut and dressing.) Toppings for soups, and salads there is no ends for this Vegetarian Bacon recipe. It’s fun, cheap and easy to make and yummy. Make a lot up to a specified point and freeze it.Raw Vegan Bacon Recipe healthy



MAKING VEGETARIAN BACON METHOD
1 lb extra firm Tofu (you can make this from Seitan too)
2 Tb. low sodium Tamari shoyu and/or a light soy sauce
½ tsp. Liquid smoke (optional, and more or less)
2 Tb. mono oil to fry in (raw cold press lighter style of oil)
Ground Pepper (optional)
Other options: Maple Syrup, black strap molasses, sugar, Nutritional Yeast, wheat germ, Kitchen Bouquet (a seasoning sauce), hot sauce or garlic oil, with smoked jalapeno, i.e.
Fry tofu strips on medium heat until they are crispy on the outside. Lay them in a cast iron pan soaking by letting them set in the oil for about 10 minutes and summer turning over and for another 10 minutes. First mix the tamari/shoyu soy sauce, or just soy sauce, with the liquid smoke. Take the pan off the heat, pour the liquid smoke - tamari into the pan, stir the tofu on all sides, and coated, then sprinkle the yeast over the bacon strips. Turn over tofu, keeping pan moving over heat until the liquid is gone and the tofu is covered with sticky yeast.
Try it! It taste LIKE bacon. The over salty taste has to be adjusted!
Don’t buy the foil lined container tofu. The extra firm sometimes comes in tubs. Press and drain the tofu 30-45 minutes before frying. Cut the tofu into ¼ inch (or less) strips. Making sure the cast iron pan is hot on medium high heat before adding the tofu and then fry. At the end add diluted liquid smoke or/and soy sauce turn the heat down to low so it will not burn. Lay strips in a cast iron skillet in and fry till golden brown about 25-20 minutes on each side. (About 45 minutes total) Be sure to watch closely, it will turn dark fast when it approaches the golden
brown color for that nice crispy “bacon like” crunch. If you shake the pan occasionally so it will not stick. When turning it over cooking on other side the last 20 minutes it will cook faster.

Marinate: Drain and dry the tofu first then Marinate the tofu strips in the mixture of tamari/liquid smoke before cooking instead of adding it to the pan afterwards it’s less salty. Or it might consist of, Soy sauce, liquid smoke and a small amount of maple syrup soaked with the
tofu overnight) (You’ll make your own style to suit your palette so experiment many ways. Some say it may miss a little in a bacon flavor without the Nutritional Yeast. (It makes it more salty) Bacon is salty and fat.

Optional_TIPS: It stores well in the fridge. You may have to adjust by adding water to the liquid smoke or, not at all depends on your palate. Start the bacon (tofu) on the stove top browning and crisping it up, then finish in a 350 degrees oven for cooking, adding in the marinade.
Use unsalted soup stock to dilute Tamara or in its place, use Liquid Aminos (Braggs). Some will not like the yeast flavor ("Kal" in a yellow green can) others swear it tastes more like bacon. Add a little water to cut the salt taste in using regular soy, Tamari, and or such. Nutritional Yeast is not the same as Brewers Yeast (residue from beer.) Some may need to stay away from the "yeast" idea. You'll learn the more you do this. Some may want it very crispy or need a bend in it. A cast iron skillet is nice to work with. Remember your basically frying the liquid out of the soy and can really even add the seasonings in the last minutes of the desired texture you desire. The baking style of cooking this ups is below for those who want to bake the flavors in.
I like soy (watch this it can burn fast) or Bragg’s Liquid Amino's with all its natural B’s. Just try a bit before adding any yeast. Experiment till you find your flavor style and method.
If you cut top to bottom on the short side of the tofu, it will end up with about 15 three-inch strips. Try using the gluten method (in this book) "seitan." to make up this bacon.
Try baking it for those who are into the “no oil fads” remember pigs are fat, and so is bacon that’s why so good. It needs oil.
Cautions do not use non-stick Teflon pans. The EPA has just recently declared the pans as a hazard because they cause tumors in rats.
Freeze tofu for extra texture. Add garlic, onion powder, i.e., pineapple juice and dehydrate for vegetarian jerky. Try doing the slices thicker, longer cooking time at lower temperatures for using in different vegetarian recipes. This recipe is more a "method" than recipe.
Hey...Sometimes we want bacon and not pork and time on our hands. Just be patient. This may seems to be superior to vegetable bacon, certainly less chemical. *For a meat look try painting on very little beet juice color, if you’re creative.

Use a peeler to make wafer thin slices of tofu (sliding it from side to side as it is drawn down the tofu block helps) Lightly brush each side of the tofu wafer slices with sunflower oil and place on a non-stick baking sheet Cook in oven heated to 220 Celsius for 10 minutes until crisp Brush with a glaze mixed to taste of the shoyu or equivalent and maple syrup and sprinkle with a pinch of nutritional yeast flakes Return to oven for a further minute to allow glaze to solidify

Bisquick Mixes, (home made)

Bisquick and Mixes (homemade)
Making our own Bisquick mix becomes necessary with mixes from health food stores when they taste like cornmeal, and we need to make it our speciality by perhaps adding in individualized ratio complex whole organic flours. Or, we wheat even adding in gluten or protein, legume or fiber. In your kitchen you can control all preservatives, cornmeal, organic's, sugars, and spices. In this economy we need more survival recipes that’s niffty and threifty to have on hand when needed for the same reasons and added is variations that you may like better for any health issues or if you choose to use powder milk or more sugar or shorting, oil, butter etc.
This recipe is a substitute for any Bisquick recipe

8 Cups sifted whole wheat flour (soft spring WW) (can take a half cup out
and add or mix in other flours like Quinoa, soy, etc.)
1/4 cup and 2 Tbs. Rumford baking powders (aluminum free)
4 Tbs. salt
1/4 cup sugar (add your health needs here) but adjust the recipe.
1 cups shortening (more or less)
Sift dry ingredients together twice. Cut in shortening and place in a covered container. Store in refrigerator. This will keep up to two months. If you put in the freezer for 24 hrs longer.
Use a food chopper to make this up or mixer. The original recipe called for two cups of shortening. I thought it was too much, but maybe not for some. You can add in powdered milk or part buttermilk for a heavier style of biscuits. Don’t over mix biscuits.

*Note: when working with WW you have to add more water or less flour because WW is more concentrated and condensed than white flour. I stop adding flour when it first begins to ball when bread making. When you add other flours to this recipe the same may occur depends on the flour and its concentration.To roll this into biscuits add more oil to your hands instead of adding WW flour or use white flour.

Another Basic Bisquick Mix (mock)
Mix 9 cup four,
1/3 cup baking powder,
1 TB. salt,
1 tsp. cream of tartar,
1/4 cup sugar
2 Cups of shortening.
Combine dry ingredients and cut in shortening until mixture resembles
coarse crumbs. Sore in airtight containers. This can be substituted for
any of your favorite Bisquick recipes.

Shake and Bake Mix
4 cups flour,
1 cup cornmeal,
2 TB. paprika, or more
1 TB. pepper,
5 TB. salt and
2 TB. parsley flakes.
You can add any of your favorite herbs or seasoned salt like Lawry's for
in stance.
Homemade Baking Powders
Sift together:
2 TB. cream of tartar,
1 TB. cornstarch
1 TB of baking soda.
Combine and store in an airtight container. 1 tea. of this b.p. is equal
to 1 teaspoons of the store-bought kind with no aluminum of course.

Seasoned Flour
2 cups w/w flour
2 TBS salt
1 TBS celery salt
1 TBS pepper
2 TBS paprika
2 TBS dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
Mix together. You can flour, corn meal i.e. and another favorite seasoning
with this mixture.
For chicken dip in egg and milk mixture then in the season salt. Fish add
1 cup w/w flour 1/2 cup of the seasoned flour and coat the fish. (Take
some out and add corn meal too.

Quick-Mix
8 cups w/w flour
1/3 cup baking powders
4 tsp salt
3 cups instant powdered milk (or mix some of it with buttermilk powder,
taking out some of the powdered milk)
1/4 cup brown or raw sugar (or, you can leave out and add last minute,
fresh honey when you bake)
Mix together and store in frig. or freezer
*It makes it less perishable to add any leaven's later, but you can or do
it the last minute before baking as below. That's the advantage of this
particular recipe.
You don't have powdered milk add milk at the end instead of water. (it's a
very adaptable recipe)
Biscuits 1/3-1/2 water, 1 cup Quick-Mix mix and bake at 375 12-15 minutes

Pancakes 1 egg, 1 cup water, 2 cup Quick-mix. Beat egg then add water and
mix and add any other ingredients.
Quick-Mix Waffles 1 TBS oil 1 egg 1 cup water 2 cups Quick-Mix Beat egg,
water and oil and beating Quick-Mix together
*I've always had to adjust any Bisquick mix to suit my own needs, stove,
temperature and altitude. I add other flours and take flour out i.e. like
Quinoa, soy, almond, rice, even corn meal for some recipes.

Make Soy Whipped Topping or Salad Dressing

How To Make Soybean Concentrate to Soy Whipped Topping; Salad Dressing

No fluff folks, just basic's soymilk made in your kitchen. It's a recipe I don't want lost. Yes, there are machines that can no do this soybean milk but what if...? Healthy living life style may for some; mean doing it at home where having control with handling healthy foods is an art. It may be an emergency recipe for some and for others, to have on hand when needed. This is the point for making soymilk; concentrated soymilk or soybean concentrate is the same...only proportions of water are different.

Soybean Concentrate (How to make soymilk) This is from scratch
1 lb. organically grown soybeans
2 kettles boiling water for preheating
7 cups water for soaking
4 1/2 - 5 quarts boiling water for blending. (Use good water)
Sort and measure 2 1/4 cups (1 lb.) unbroken soybeans. Wash and soak in 7
cups of water from 4 - 16 hours. Have ready large kettles of boiling
water.
Drain beans. Sort out beans that have been broken while soaking. Fill top
of blender with hottest water from tap and let stand. Measure 1 1/2 cup
sorted, soaked beans into flat bowl or pan. Set bowl of beans in sink.
Let hottest water from tap fill bowl and continue to run slowly over
beans.
Empty top of blender and fill with boiling water. Drain beans in colander
or strainer. Pour water from blender over beans in strainer. Put hot
beans into hot blender. Cover with 2 cups boiling water. Put lid on
securely place with thick hot pads, or folded towels on top. Cover while
starting blender. Steam may cause water to spurt out. Caution: Do not let
children around while working with boiling water. Blend 2 or 3 minutes at
high speed.
To this point the process for making soymilk, concentrated soymilk or
soybean concentrate is the same...only the proportions of water are
different.
For soybean concentrate, empty the slurry (blended soybeans) into a pan.
If raw concentrate is desired, cool. Refrigerate. If cooked concentrate
is to be used, cook in the top of double boiler over hot water. Then cool
and chill.
To fortify with calcium, add 1/2 tsp. calcium lactate per cup of milk,
concentrate, or cream.

Soy Whipped Topping
1 cup chilled, cooked soy concentrate
Speck of salt
2 Tbs to 1/4 cup chilled oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbs. brown sugar, honey, molasses or 2 T. dates
Few drops lactic acid
Measure soymilk and put in blender. Add seasonings. Blend until light
and foamy. Add oil gradually while blending. Add lactic acid, anew
drops...only enough to thicken. Lemon juice may be used but only enough
to thicken.

Soymilk Salad Dressing
1/2-cup mono oil
1/2-cup soymilk
1/4 c lemon juice
2 Tbs sugar (if use honey 1/2 as much)
1 small onion
1/4 tsp. salt
Combine in blender very slowly.

This Semi Fast Will Begin to Reverse Chronic Disease and lose weight. One way is "FASTING" the second is working and adjusting your diet with “Milder Foods” The next is, as we get closer to a millennium health we will understand these principles more. This is a basic semi fasting with mild foods to be understood and used before any instructions on herbs and other home herbal remedies. However, herbs and any home remedy's will also be included (plants based) with "Mild Foods."
If you can't "fast", which is truly natures surgeon, if the weakest person can always do this semi fast, and may also be too weak or full of toxins to do a fast. How often or long depends desired health results, but should be done at least monthly to maintain good health. (Creates a new "set point.") Fast is not cover here but will be in another page. As added note to diabetics which is told cannot fast. Yet, they do fast to get their test results every three months, but have to stop any insulin or pills to do so checking their meter and carrying food if needed. However,
on a semi-fast, they can successfully fast. It is better for the diabetic to use more vegetables than fruits however or add in complex bread to slow elimination process down a bit, but bread will not completely stop this healing process, adding proteins will.

A Semi-Fast (mucus less diet) will reverse chronic diseases. The following diet is all mild foods that help nature naturally clear the body of toxic wastes. All disease is a toxin starting from the colon. It is a great weight lose tool too clearing out fat. Nature has her rules, which our carnal bodies are subject and predicated from? Obedient to her learned laws, only then, will health make an appearance. A semi Fast is also a mild food fast, but more toward "fasting" because concentrated food are cut out while on the fast.

Let me give you an example of a semi-fast more familiar to some that you may have already done and not know this is form of semi fasting.

Arthritis Cleanse (Their are many more sample mild food specifically designed for healing a disease) Stiff joins are relieved with this program. (Two weeks)
Broth water
2 lbs diced potatoes (not peeled)
About 3 clove of diced garlic
3 stalks diced celery
1/4 cup of fresh parsley
In 2-3 quarts in boiling then reduced to a simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool, separate liquid from the pulp and throw away. Drink the broth though out the day and for the next two weeks. Or, make this up on a fast day and drink the whole 24 hours.

The only way the body will heal itself is through the following:
1. Fasting, 2. Semi-fasting, 3. Forced elimination. There is no other
ways.

Our bodies will begin to eliminate waste matter and clear itself using a fast, semi-fast or using "mild foods" in the diet. Mild foods are a slower pace for and the easiest for most of us. This diet is especially good when sick and you cannot fast. When was the last time you read upon any of these? three subjects? …”And whosoever among you are sick and have not faith to
be healed, but believe, shall be nourished with all tenderness, with herbs
and “mild food,”“
The semi-fast foods are in the category of mild because It is not hindering the natural eliminating process of the disease.

Semi-fast:
In the beginning, eat more vegetables than fruits. As you feel better, you can begin to eat more fruit, as fruit draws and loosens the waste more rapidly. Semi-Fasting (For Chronic Sickness): A semi-fast is mild foods to the system, which allow the body to clean house of toxins and yet, sustain they body health and energy at the same time. The following may have to be adjusted to your body’s illness. For instance, some cannot handle raw nor all the fiber. Later milk or grains
one at a time may be added also. 1. *All Fruits and Vegetables (raw whenever possible, fully ripen, ...live foods)! They are the first part of our food chain.

*Fruit juice, (raw (or fresh), frozen or canned)

Vegetable juice (raw-fresh if and when possible)

*Soft oils (cold first cold pressing, olive, grape, nut oils, safflower
... all mono's oils), omegia's...

*All raw nuts, seeds (If you can handle the fiber)

* Raw Honey (Stevia, an herbal sweetener) and a few others (Re: sugar
page)

The next is for longer period and for the very ill person to weak for the no fibrous juices only, and add as you get stronger.

Later Add: *Sprouts (alfalfa, beans and all grains), sprouted breads are found in health food stores and some grocery stores in the frozen sections and can be used here. Ezekiel 4:9 (Food For Life) puts out great sprouted grain bread. (Frozen sections of stores and Health Food Stores.) It does have yeast in it so it's not perfect, but I'm not covering parasite on these two papers.

*All starch vegetables baked (Potatoes, squash, parsnips and yams i.e.)
*Baking Potatoes baked at 500 turns it to glucose. There are no hormonal changes in the body to utilize it as glucose in the body. Start with the less fibrous potato i.e.

* Grains and Legumes when sprouted * (If sprouted they're quickly converted to a glucose sugar for the more weak)
* Legumes are considered vegetable-fruit see dictionary. They also may, at times, are also seed.

Avoid concentrated boxed, chemically, processed foods when chronically (acute) sick.

Avoid: Grains, sugars, includes artificial sweeteners, dairy products, butter, eggs, dried legumes, meats, peanuts, chips, junk foods, etc. while on this fast - cleanse.

First, Fruit is a builder, cleanser, healer and a perfect food for man.
However, it cleanses fast, or burns fast and "it speeds up the process of elimination, moving too much waste into the blood at one time. Some very ill persons cannot endure this fast cleansing.
Second, While vegetables "slows down that process, when eliminating
toxins, but may be more gentle cleanse. Some may want to use vegetable with a little fruit or vice-versa.
Thirdly, concentrated foods (proteins) bring cleaning to a screeching halt. I am not advocating that you always live on this diet. I am suggestion this diet is an easier way to live for the sick and weak.
Some are so chronically sick and weak they cannot do a fast alone. They are so filled with filth that their body began to choke on the poisons dumping into the blood stream. That's why I've added this "semi-fasting'' page. It also very hard to stop smoking when the body dumps the addiction.
Remember to dilute the poison.

HEALING CRISIS (how to heal)

*Fasting or next is this diet... "Semi-fasting" ...or it could be called plant based diet, or “mild food fasting." What ever label you want to call it is all the same. It’s the only way of keeping our bodies clear of diseases, damaging chemicals, and toxic poisons that are continually coming in with pollutants in our environment. Herbs and
vitamin's are not enough. The best they can do is to assist your diet. (Do this diet regularly as needed.) Even, a meal or two and work up to more days, week, month i.e.
*Your foods should be your medicine, vegetables-herbs, fruit, seeds "and
the leaf there of..." (Herbal teas are definitely included, but are selective.) I have added recipes aided with suggestions of how to use healthy foods and do add more fresh culinary herbs.
Use the bitter herbs for medication such as for parasites. Eat fresh foods mostly, (NO GMO FOODS) from healthy plants. This will make the healing process better and faster. Herbal formulas or magic pill is not as



important as this message.

*All food has to be changed to glucose to be utilizing in our bodies. The more the body has to work in changing foods to glucose the harder it is on the body healing. The harder conversion process the more require energy, more hormones and more work on all internal organ tiring the ill out taking away from the healing process when chronically, sick.

+Watch your tongue, it’s your magic mirror that (build in natures healing gage) when you’re eliminating your tongue will be coated white. Then real health will be forth coming and so will a "healing crisis" in about every 3 months. (All your illnesses with rewind backwards with every healing crisis.) You want your tongue white but not too white. It means you are diet is a succeeding. It is brought about by obedience to the rules of nature with cleansing the body. Remember a disease crisis comes with a build up of toxin as a result of disobedience to nature’s laws. This is important to pay attention, learn and work with nature. The only way the body will heal itself is through the following:
1. Fasting
2. Semi-fasting (mild foods)
3. Forced elimination. (Diseases, flues or illnesses)

This happens only as the body is naturally cleansed through fasting
and/or semi-fasting and correct body building foods.

B. This happens only when the body has enough vitality to stand the shock.

D. This usually happens about three months of correct eating to bring about a healing crisis.

E. This only lasts two or three days at the most. No need to take an enema or helping any way, except to stop eating.

F. Sometimes, by correct eating, semi-fasting, etc., the body picks off the waste a little at a time and no crisis is necessary.

Verses: A DISEASE CRISIS (The Flue or when very sick with any disease)

1. Happens when the body is too full of mucus and clogged to its limit.
2. Happens when enough germs, parasites, funguses i.e. have multiplied.
3. Happens when body strength and vitality are lowest.
4. Happens to save the life. If clogging continues at the rate, it is going, the person would die because of injury to body organs. Poisons blood and pumping it through the heart, crowding vital organs as in cancer, etc.
5. Lasts several weeks or more
6. Happens, sometimes when the body becomes extremely cold, causing the
body to squeeze like a sponge thus starting elimination.

*Fruit, Loosens, sustains the body and cleanses. Vegetables, Slow down process of elimination somewhat. They sustain the body and cleanses.
Protein, on mild food diet, stops the process of elimination. (Meat) Even a little protein with live (fresh) foods may not be enough herbs or, vegetables to move out toxins or its wastes that can cause obstructions and chronic disease. (Not Enough Fiber) It the biggest reason people can't
loose weight and keep it of. By the way the way THE WORD OF WISDOM is a fibrous diet and for the most part and will fit here perfectly.
I will add a page on other mild foods by adding grains, beans, milks, etc., later for teaching purposes, keeping them separate for now.

Another Popular Semi Fast I put this page in the 70's and wow did I get energy.
It was called the Lemon Cleanse2 tbs. lemon juice
1 tbs. organic raw maple syrup
1/10-teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pure water 6-12 large glasses daily
This eliminates toxins and revitalizes the body. Do not take food supplements during these cleanse or semi fasts. It seemed for me to take 24 hours to really kick in.
A Days Supply:
2 cups lemon juice, 1 cup maple syrup and 1 or more teaspoons cayenne (or
capsule) mix 3 tbs. in each large glass of water.

Make up you own by sipping on your favorite tea, all day or juice, make up vegetable broths for your ailments i.e., but no concentrated foods like grains, protein, dairy or any other mucus forming food. The right teas can be very healing.

*No Vitamin therapy here because there’s no such thing as a vitamin within the body's composition chemistry, it's a blind study at the most. To understand this statement further study is needed. I challenged this when I went to Herbology School and lost.

*Example: Go to the Internet and type in Keyword: hair analysis kit They are many companies who do this work or go to your physician for blood work. The test will let you know where you are high in a mineral and your body needs when it comes to minerals. Then use plants source high in that mineral to balancing the rest out. This will aid you immensely toward getting well. If you are anemic of iron or depleted in minerals you can't loose weight or get well. Your body is starving for basic nutrition. You need a good balance of minerals. Your body must not be in a starving condition by missing minerals to be healthy. This includes all weight problems. You will find the reward will be less hungry and your mind will be come sharp.

understanding the principles, I am teaching. Yes, I know he's eccentric, but glean pass it all.

*The reason the "The Jerusalem Diet" works for dieters is because people eat just fruits and vegetables on the days you gain weight. This is a semi fast and the body have a chance to clean!
Come off cleansing fast very slowly then ease back into solid foods, especially true for red meats. During the first day or for some second, diarrhea may occur as toxins leave the body, so try the cleansing diets when you are going to be home.

On my fast day I will eat a watermelon, water and herb tea all day on fast day. My good neighbor just came over and shared her melon with me. Inspiration does come in with the fasting to all and blessings. Remember to eat in season when foods are at their peak of creation to aid and bless Mankind. (No GMO-GE foods, you'll need all the nutrition available in good
foods for your strength).
In summary, this is the one of natures basic assumption man can reverse and restore health. This knowledge is basic to reversing disease that can be done if you work with nature and not against her. Chemicals or drugs will not heal and therefore against the laws of healing with her (nature.) You carnal body comes from NATURE and we all have to obey her rules. Our spirit is governed by spiritual laws not carnal (nature). Yes, they over-lap as to instructions. One cannot exist without the other.
SEMI-FASTING OR mild food is for our basic "temporal law" of health and the scripture referred to this mild food or semi-fasting. I use the word semi-fasting to aid the reader to understand what is actually taking place? when using "mild foods" and what this is actually referencing to.

Quick Chili Bean Casserole

We need mor lugumes, and their fiber. This is one of my basic's and the family enjoyed. This is a very nice fast casserole if no time to cook. Its fresh vegetables make this tasty dish so don’t skimp on them. You can substitute the can no bean style then add in your left-over meat, or just use corn tortilla that have been first fried and layer the same. It a recipe that is handy to use left-over tortes.
Chili Bean Casserole
White Tortes Chips
1 Can Chili Beans (Your favorite)
Cheese (grated)
1 Tomato (diced) (or, sub some fresh)
1 Onions (chopped) and/or green onion
1 Avocado (diced)
Sour Cream

In small baking dish or pan spray pan with olive oil. Cover bottom of dish with about ¼ inch of crushed tortes chip. The next layer is a can of chili beans mixed with a can of water, with some of the onions over torte’s chip spread evenly. Top it with a layer of cheese and bake till bubbly. 350 or until its heated thoroughly and the tops cheese is melted but not burnt. Cover while baking. Let cool a bit and before serving add a layer of tomato, avocado and green onions. Top with sour cream or, this can be in a side dish to add in last. Salsa can be added to this dish if no fresh tomatoes and fresh or frozen corn, peppers, olives i.e.
Serve over fresh chopped salad greens. Squeeze over the top fresh spanish parsley with lime and a mono oil or a salad dressing if no sour cream. Serves about 6
The recipe is easily adapted for more servings for a company dish. You can use Fritos if out of tortilla chips.

KITCHEN FIRE: What to do

I have had a kitchen oil fire...Even the smallest one can smoke damage everything and the whole kitchen will have to be re-done. That's when I learned about baking soda in the bottom of the oven (Grease spills and splatters adhere to it.) Under burner and stove top will absorb any grease from getting out of control, plus take care of kitchen odor's. Great when children are home alone cooking. Be sure to keep a box of baking soda on the stove top to put out and absorb the grease and fire on stove or pan. Pan cleaning will be easier too. Put a box in the refrigerator door to absorb the odors their too plus, you have an extra box if needed. Use the old boxes of baking sodas for the bottom of your oven. (Dump a some in the cat litter box in an emergency too.)

Fruit Cocktail Jello Salad

Here's a very simple adaptable simple good fruit Salad, Jello, use a can of fruit cocktail with a can of fresh chopped apples, bananas, grapes, peach or whatever you have on hand with cool whip and chill.

Fruit Jell-O Salad

*1 small package of Jell-O, follow package directions (If for Family, Company? Large package i.e.)
*One can of each (Or equivalent adding in some fresh fruits), Mandarin Oranges, Fruit Cocktail
Drain, stir in fruit. Nuts (pecan, walnut, cashews), or small marshmallows to the dry package of green etc. Jell-O. (Not cooked) Add to this mixture a small tub of cool whip and refrigerate till set.
A mentally hepatic lady give me this very simple easy recipe. I was real surprise at the results to its simplicity to adapt to any left over fruit. She made it up to take for her family gatherings every year. It great to make take to parties in a pinch. There will never be any left!

No Cook, Cheese Peanut Butter Fudge

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheese Fudge (No Cook Recipe) It has plenty of protein and better for diabetics.




1/2 lb Velveeta Cheese (or the other kind) (room temperature)

1/2 cup organic butter (room temperature)

1 cup organic peanut butter

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup or hand full of nut meats
5 cups confectioner's sugar

1/2 cup cocoa powder (optional if choc. not desired)

9x12 sq. pan sprayed with non stick butter spray



Cream (room temperature) cheese, butter, peanut butter and vanilla together. Mix well.

Add in the cocoa powder if desired. This tastes great just as a peanut butter fudge and is much lighter.

Add the sugar cup at a time and taste the mixture to see if you would like it more sweet or less, just adjust the butter or peanut butter for a bit more liquid.

Beat in the nut meat (walnuts or pecans etc.,) last min.

The mixture may be very dry. Pat it firmly into pan, refrigerate over night till firm and cut the next day.

I've heard you might be able to use shredded American cheese just incorporate it thoroughly and make sure its room temperature. Others, blue cheese, cream cheese etc., Photo top peanut butter cheese fudge and bottom is the choc cheese fudge.

No Yeast Soda Bread

There is too much yeast in our diets and I'm always looking for recipes that don't use it. Some sour dough starter start out with yeast. Watch the starter, generally from health food stores or on the Internet that don't use yeast. Good for our budgets, very simple, cheap and easy to make.

Soda Bread

1 pint glass coarse whole meal flour (pint is 2 cups)

1 pint glass white baking flour

¾ pt. buttermilk

1 tsp. sea salt (enough to coat the bottom of a pint glass)

1 tsp. baking soda, measure as above

1 tsp. butter, I would add more myself

Mix the dry ingredients, add the wet; gently mix until all ingredients are moist and quickly shape into a round loaf.

Bake for about 30 minutes at 350°F.


Tap the bottom of the bread to see if its done. Listen for a hollow sound.

MULTIPLE CURES WITH IODINE

I have had very poor nails all my life to the point where I never wore rings, not wanting to draw attention to my ugly hands. Also anxiety made me bite and pick at them 'til they bled sometimes. I now take 100 mgs (yes one hundred milligrams) of Iodoral every day.My body was starving due to celiac which went undiagnosed for decades. When I paint my skin with Lugol's it disappears in just a few hours (2-4).
Besides my nails and hair improving, iodine has helped me with snoring, salivary stones (swollen and hard salivary glands under the jaw bones), and hay fever is a thing of the past. I don't need the daily Claritin anymore and I do not need 5-htp for anxiety now, I only take one or two at the most at night for sleep, where I was taking it all through the day.
When I first started taking iodine I went through a little detox period, but it was well worth it. I still have a long way to go to reach good health, but Iodine is the first remedy that helped and keeps on helping. I imagine that soon when big-med and big-pharmacy get wind of this movement it will become impossible to get iodine in any form, so I am stock-piling for the future. 08/21/2008: Mary from Troy, N.Y. writes: "My dad used apricot seeds and b17 for cancer. Dx with stage 4 stomach cancer to the liver he was not given much hope. Although he did have 5 chemo treatments, I believe it was the b17 that put his cancer in remission. He is now cancer free even though the doctors said he never would be.
He takes 20 apricot seeds a day and 3 500mg tablets of the b17 pill form. He also takes 2 tbs of Goji juice and eats a little pineapple everyday. The Goji juice for the zinc and pineapple for the enzymes that you need withb17."
CHINESE FEVER CURE
08/21/2008: Helen from South port, Australia writes: "This is another way of applying egg white for reducing fever that I learnt from my Chinese Grandma. Hard boil the egg and remove the egg yolk. Put the hard boiled egg white including the shell in a handkerchief. Twist the content into a ball and massage body from head to toe. Brings the temp down instantaneously. My Grandma would also insert a silver ring in the egg white content when massaging. Silver would change to different colours when rubbed on different patients. This was used to diagnose the cause of the fever and then she would use (ying/yang) herbal treatment for the illness. Sadly, I am unable to read the silver ring. My children always ask for an egg massage when they have high temperature and it always does the trick."
TURMERIC FEEDBACK
08/19/2008: Sandy from Cape May, New Jersey writes: "In January I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, in May with chronic polypoid cystitis of the bladder. I had general discomfort throughout my abdomen, flank and pelvic area- not sure what condition was causing what pain. Also had what I believe was arthritic pain in my hip. Only remedy for polypoid cystitis that doctor recommended was painkillers- I declined- or ibuprofen, which I did not want to take on a regular basis. Did some research on natural anti-inflammatories, and found lots of info on turmeric. I just went to my local drug store, and bought turmeric capsules, I think they are 500 mg. I started taking 2 pills 2x a day, for a couple of days, then decreased to 2 pills 1x a day, and after just a week or so I stopped taking them altogether. Amazing, but all of my aches and pains disappeared! No bladder pain- no flank pain- no hip pain! If I feel a twinge of anything, I take 2 turmeric, and that does the trick. I am hooked!"
HYDROGEN PEROXIDE FEEDBACK
08/12/2008: Dave from Dallas, Texas writes: "35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide--
I had crippling rheumatoid arthritis in 1985, where all the joints in my right arm were locked up and would not move. I was in constant, horrible pain and got no sleep for over 3 months. I began drinking extremely dilute amounts of the 35% HP DROPS in PURE WATER (NOT Tap Water!!)I also had candida albicans, and my cholesterol level was 465 as tested by my MD friend. Within 1 week the pain in my joints on my right arm was GONE and I was sleeping like a baby! Within one month I had free range of motion in all joints--from my fingers to my shoulder. My cholesterol was down to 289 and the candida symptoms were greatly reduced. By the end of the second month, my cholesterol was 155 (normal and safe) and all symptoms of candida albicans infestation were GONE. That was 28 YEARS ago, and I have had NO recurrences of any of the above problems. I call that a "CURE!"
H2O2 amounts taken: Begin first day with ONE DROP H2O2 in 8 oz. PURE WATER. Second day: two drops H2O2. Third day: three drops H2O2...and so on until you reach 10 drops per day. Now, if the taste is too bad, split the HP drops into 5 in the morning, and 5 in the evening--near bed time. Work back taking 10 drops twice a day, THEN split it into THIRDS, AND begin taking 7 drops THREE times a day, or whatever you can handle. Slowly work back up to taking 10 drops THREE times a day. Don't go much higher than that, or you might want to stay at 7 drops, three times a day. Let your body determine your amount.
ALSO, do NOT drink any H2O2 water 45 minutes BEFORE OR AFTER EATING A MEAL OR TAKING SUPPLEMENT'S! You may throw up (vomit.)
ALSO, take 500 mg. of Vitamin C once a day to neutralize any free radical formations that may have occurred. The oxygen in the H2O2 attacks the iron in the blood and causes that reaction. The Vitamin C will clean it up, and Selenium may also be substituted for the Vitamin C.
MY SKIN CANCER (Melanoma) "erased" with topical application of 35% Food Grade HP: I had several dark mole-like formations on my forearms come up after being out in the Texas sun a lot. They itched, and my doctor friend said they were Melanomas and that I should see a professional about them. I knew what HP would do for them, so I took a nail file and GENTLY abraded the surface of these dark bumps, and then applied straight 35% Food Grade HP to the spots with a Q-Tip (cotton swab on a stick) UNTIL THEY TURNED WHITE IN COLOR. Herbals For Blood Pressure (Hypertention)


Foods: A animal protein diet is a problem with high blood pressure. No Meats, when ever possible, use plant base diet if "acute" (which means now happening) or, use very little, deluding---washing heavier food like meat down with gobs of fibrous vegetables, fruit and whole grains. (Three gram 6 time a day with 3 meals and two snacks, at a minimum.) Never two meals consecutively especially if mild heart condition too. See: Post; "Mild food plant based diet" or, "Semi Fast" a no mucus less diet (no dairy or cheeses in serious cases.) The scriptures say, "...use mild foods"... when and if lacking faith to a priesthood healing" this diet connects here. (paraphrased) Word of Wisdom diet is a plant based...not meat based diet.  It should have been left as it was given..."not constraint or a commandment," for its caused "everyone" to error. Secondly, their are medicines from teas and always has been from the beginning of time. Capsules are just the modern version of dispensing plant herbal medications for marketing and controlling of supplement's.


Blood Pressure: When you treat the heart, liver, and the colon you'll also treat your blood pressure. (hypertension) Too much salt is far  over rated. Adding too much salt keeps up the water pressure inside your "faucets" causing fluids to back-up.. That's why if you have blood pressure you may from doctors get a diuretic DRUG, which afterwards; have to take potassium pill.
The rippling effects of this; pulling water off so fast causes loss in minerals then will cause leg cramps i.e.. Go figure? Doctors treat symptom not the causes.
Don't eat meat this will clog up the colon and also raise blood pressure, (if this is your main problem). Too much proteins is also hard on the kidneys, and then you'll need a diuretic pill again. Get you main plant basic vegetarian for the most part, (plant base) diet to correct the problem then hypertension will correct itself.
I'm allergic to fish, so I couldn't use the fish oil for b.p. however I've started taking krill oil, 500 mg. daily and my b.p. is back to normal. (Krill is what the fish live on and don't have a chance, nor a long life, to acquire much chemicals nor Mercury.) Accually you don't really need to read futher for blood pressure, but here are other natural means that will work for this and heart problems. I just will call them more "TID BITS"...

HEART;
The heart needs mono fats: 3 g. daily or, Lecithin 3 tsp. daily, or Borage oil, Flaxseed oil and cleans out arteries, (smaller) Fish oil, Wheat germ, Safflower oils, i.e. (every day) 3,6,9 Omega fatty acids that will keep the inflammations down. (abt. 3 tsp.daily).
Herbal Aid: Cactus liquid, 10 drops daily
Herbals: Have on hand at all times (protects heart) Capsicum, (1 tsp 3 times a day), Great to have on hand in case of a heart attack. (I have a tincture on hand)

Lobelia, Hawthorn Berry, Sassafras, Garlic, and Chanca Piedra phyllanthus niruri (This herb will aid in plank build up, and increases bile secretions to lower blood cholesterol levels in rat studies.) Fenugreek is another blood thinner but is not be used with another pain relievers. It is not to be taken with drug for thinning the blood.
Chanca Piedra is for hypertension.
Melatonin is another good herb for HBP and a good calming influence for sleeping disorders

Parasites are always involved in any disease. Their are many herbals for parasites. Drugs are products such as Duflucan, fluconazol, or Nystatin, i.e. (from doctor) (Black Walnut Hull, good organic Oregano oil, Olive Leaf extract and i.e., see the page on parasites. It's a good idea to change from one herb to another every three months. There's not enough research on herbs killing specific fungals. Oregano oil can be dropped in a capsule and taken right away.
Treat for yeast.

A holistic approach will included especially the keeping the kinked hose unplugged and flowing at all times.
Keep the colon clean...of toxins;
Colon: I've had too many friends who think a bowel movement every two or three days is normal. This can cause a back up in the system flow and even headaches. Senna (strong; see colon care post) with Psyllium, Cascara Bark and other such herbal laxative, Mandrake if deathly sick will aid colon and liver but it is a laxative and not to be used if pregnant, or going to be. Keep the colon clear everyday. If this is not done it’s like a kinked hose, its building pressure and then leaks profusely. Fiber and/or fibrous plant based diet is important and/or add to the diet, Gymnema, or other such fibrous herbs. The bowel flora that is off in this condition. Add to it a good yogurt such as Kefir, i.e. 3-14 days and pro biotic therapy. Psyllium will sweep out pockets in colon and grab onto pockets, parasite and toxins. Add abt 1-3 mg of Senna if you still have constipation's. This is a fast moving herb to deal with and may have to be adjusted to individuals or substitute to a more slower moving herbal laxative.

Kidney: Drink lots of pure water (boil water), or reverse osmosis, or, distilled water if your normal water has heavy metals in it. Get a easy juicer and use sparingly fruits however fruits are better if you add in some vegetables. Always add in greens to slow down some of the process of elimination.
