BACON, HOT DOGS LINKS TO DIABETIES

Their is a link between sugar consumption and Type 2 diabetes, and more research ties another dietary pattern to increased risk of the disease, too: eating too much red meat which has too much animal fat, antibotic (and it's chemicals, known too as heavy metals.) Recent studies linking this carnivorous habits to more health problems that seem to be piling up with health issues. Read more: Salami Suicidee had and Death By Bacon. Now, there's a study that links red meat consumption to an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes.

The researchers tracked what happens after people changed their meat-eating habits, using data from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study and the Nurses' Health Study, which include about 100,000 people. Diet was assessed by food frequency questionnaires.

"Some people [in the study] increased their red meat consumption and other people decreased their consumption," says Dr. Frank Hu of the Harvard School of Public Health, one of the co-authors of the paper, which appears in JAMA Internal Medicine.

The study found that among those who started eating more red meat, about 3.5 servings more per week, the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes during four years of follow-up increased by almost 50 percent, which Hu describes as "a really large increase."

As with previous studies linking red meat to health concerns, the researchers found that processed red meats such as hot dogs and bacon were more strongly associated with the risk of diabetes.

Among those who starting eating less red meat, the risk of developing diabetes dropped by about 14 percent during a 10-year follow-up period.

Now, to put this study in context, it's important to point out that the most significant driver of Type 2 diabetes is body weight. People who are overweight and obese are much more likely to develop the condition. It's harder to keep diabetes under controlled (insilin resistant) with too big of carnivorous habits.

Since red meat is typically high in calories and ANIMAL fat, some experts say that it's likely these factors that create the link between heavy red meat consumption and and increased risk of diabetes. Also, the found drugs in meat are in question.

IRON OVER-LOAD (heavy metals, chemicals)

It's not clear what's happening in the body, but there are a few theories. It's possible that heavy red meat consumption can lead to iron overload, which sets the stage for insulin resistance.

Some hot dogs have human DNA (make my mind wonder)

It's also possible that compounds called nitrosamines play a role.

"Our understanding is that, especially [when they occur in] processed meats, these nitrosamines can cause inflammation," explains Dr. David Nathan, who directs the diabetes center at Massachusetts General Hospital.

And there's also some evidence that nitrosamines can damage the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. But experts say more research is needed to understand these connections.

Hot dogs are full of bad fat. All fat stores hormones, antibiotic's and chemicals. I bought a pkg of organic Jennie turkey or chicken hot dogs that had no chemicals, hormones or antibiotic's. I stocked up on them. They go fast and stores are not quick to re order them.

GETTING MORE ANTIBIOTIC'S THAN YOU KNOW

Are Antibiotics On The Farm is Risky? RE: Dan Charles July 11, 2013 5:51 PM
You've probably seen the labels on meat in the store: "Raised without antibiotics." This is a selling point for people who don't like how many drugs they've been using from chickens, turkey, hogs and beef-cattle. routinely given to pigs, beef-cattle, lamb, fish and poultry.
They say the drugs help keep animals healthy, get them to market faster, and fatten them up for market . Drugs of any kind will work the same on humans as they have on the animal, also when you ingest their meat the drugs used to raise them. They don't want you to know this...

This practice will guarantees that bacteria/virus/germ/parasites/fungus i.e.will develop resistance to these antibiotics more quickly, endangering human lives and the long-term be venerable to the antibiotic drugs plus the future added antibiotics that maybe needed is also stored up. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2013/07/11/200870193/are-antibiotics-on-the-farm-risky-business
It's wise not to eat meat. It might be more wise to know your sources of how and what they are in the meat using to raise these animals. (Read in this link, the specific ones that may interfere with your meds.)
Do you actually believe cows are naturally over-weight with huge
utters? When they get too old to produce milk we eat them
and what they've eaten including the hormones etc.

These drugs are causing lots of our diseases. At least, cut way back. No way are they organically grown (Are they eating only organic grain feed that maybe full of drugs too, or grass fed without spray, chemical i.e. fish pellets have antibiotic too.)....
BE WISER; If your sick, PREGNANT OR NURSING avoid meat.

MOST NUTRITIOUS PLANTS IN THE WORLD

We need to know more about the common weeds that can sustain life when food sources are low, non existence's or have becoming tamper with (as in GMO"s) and too, foods are becoming too pricey, lacking in vitamin's and natural minerals and are rare or in some cases too non existing (as in some other countries that visit this blog. And, for coming as this is my pay and delight to share freely with those in need. Don't weed this out of your organic gardens, as many do. These ideas in some parts were taken from the "Urban Forager" which has moved to NY http://www.avachin.com/  This is all about FREE WILD herbs:
Common lambsquarters (pig weed)
Scientific name: Chenopodium album (Goosefoot Family: Chenopodiaceae)

European relative of spinach and beets, which grows throughout the North America. Produces large of edible, spinach-flavored leaves you can collect from mid-spring to late fall. It's one of the best sources of beta-carotene, calcium, potassium, and iron in the world; also a great source of trace minerals, B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, and fiber. The taste will vary depending on where and when picked.

The tiny black seeds that develop inside the flowers in autumn are tasty and healthful, but very labor-intensive to collect.

Common lambsquarters does not tolerate routine mowing and will usually disappear after a month or two of maintenance. The leaves are somewhat variable in shape although they tend to be "rhombic (wider in the middle and tapering at the apex and petiole) and covered with a gray-mealy coating.

Mr. Pollan, who advocates for Americans eating more wild botanically, called lambsquarters and purslane "two of the most nutritious plants in the world."
The n.o 2 most nutritious plant is plantain not
Common Plantain is also one of the best medical plant
great as a save. To eat use before it flowers.

Lambsquarters: Chenopodium album is also called white goosefoot, pigweed, and in UK Britain, fat-hen, is in the Chenopodiaceae or goosefoot family, making it related to quinoa, beets and spinach. Like its cousin quinoa, it’s sort of a super-food — high in Vitamins A and C, riboflavin, niacin, calcium, manganese, potassium and iron.

The best way to identify lambsquarters is by a very distinctive mealy white or lavender powder present in the center whorl of the new growth’s tip or just underneath the leaves — and of course by the alternate tell-tale leaves themselves, which vary from the older diamond-shape to the younger goosefoot ones. I heard it was called "gooses butt"...the at the wider end of the leaves the other end looks like the neck of a headless goose head-less part. That's how I remember it. But, they're different variety too.

(Note: lambsquarters absorbs nitrates readily, so avoid gathering in contaminated soil. And beware of malodorous lookalikes — safe-to-eat lambsquarters does not emit a bad or resinous smell when you crush its leaves between your fingers.) Get another person to identify the plants if in doubt.

Remember to pick from the top and to take only quantities that you will use, making sure to leave enough for others to enjoy. Of course not near a road, lead from exhaust or chemically sprayed avoid these areas. Oh, too, watch out for dog pee in parks by tree i.e. wash plant in a bit of vinegar in the water to remove any pollutant's

Some say plants are better cooked raw, but if raw it may be better young.

More reading on edible plants are necessary. Do not over pick any area. Find your own bushes, pick the leaves as needed and leave more for others or another time. Do not destroy or disturb the roots, use sprays or lawn mowers on this plant. Save and protect these plants for next year and do remember to scatter the seeds and nature will be kind to your blessing your family. Like-wise in Oregon many watch out protecting their pine-trees  for pine nuts, if not, there will be no good yields for them the next year. This will help nature to give you food even in a famine.

Kellogg's isn't SPECIAL anymore

This material has been updated: The rainforests of Indonesia are an ecological treasure: They’re home to critically endangered species like the orangutan and the Sumatran tiger, and they also store more carbon than the entire world emits in 9 years. Now snack and cereal giant Kellogg's has made a huge deal with a company that’s wiping these forests off the map.

http://naturalsociety.com/list-politicians-paid-off-by-monsanto/#ixzz2V1gQSSOA

Kellogg's has just launched a partnership with Wilmar International, the world’s largest palm oil trader. The palm oil industry has had a devastating impact on the forests of Southeast Asia, wiping out millions of hectares of forest and releasing hundreds of millions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere every year. And even among palm oil companies, Wilmar is especially terrible: Satellite evidence recently proved that it's been illegally logging on protected forests for decades.

Wilmar’s record is so bad that Newsweek named it the least sustainable corporation in the world -- worse than Exxon Mobil, TransCanada, and even Monsanto. We need to let Kellogg's know that this deal is unacceptable.

Tell Kellogg's: Cut ties with Wilmar, the world’s least sustainable corporation, unless it agrees to clean up its act now!

Palm oil has been popular in Asia for years, but it’s increasingly being imported to the West, largely because it’s slightly cheaper than other vegetable oils -- but it also has huge health and environmental costs! Lots of food companies in North America, Australia, and Europe are buying up cheap palm oil to save a few cents, but Kellogg's is going further than anyone else. It’s teaming up with Wilmar to try to dominate the Chinese snack market.

It’s easy to produce deforestation-free palm oil, but companies like Wilmar are cutting corners to avoid basic sustainability standards (and they’re getting away with it due to widespread corruption). Under intense consumer pressure, Kellogg's agreed to some sustainability guidelines for its palm oil purchases. But now it’s giving billions of dollars worth of business to Wilmar, a company that has cut down natural parks for palm oil. If Kellogg's can’t reign in its business partner, this deal could wipe away the impact of all its sustainability initiatives.

Wilmar just announced a small step that shows it may be open to change. In response to anger over massive forest fires in Indonesia, it said that it would stop sourcing palm oil from companies connected to illegal burning. But that’s not enough: We can’t allow it to replace deforestation-by-burning with deforestation-by-bulldozer. Kellogg's needs to insist that its business partner stop cutting down the rainforest altogether.

Sign our petition to Kellogg's: End your partnership with Wilmar International unless it agrees to end deforestation.
Kellogg's corn is AN "AMERICAN MADE" GMO, YOU WILL NEVER FIND IT ORGANICALLY GROWN. SO, IT'S NEVER  s p e c i a l in any food form.

FDA AND GMO'S (labeling i.e.)

FDA and GMOs: The spoilings of America
Attorney Jonathan Emord offered updates on FDA issues, Monsanto and; GMOs, and various controversies involving the Obama administration.

In May, Senator Dick Durban tried to amend the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act to include sweeping new powers for the FDA to regulate supplement companies, and potentially reduce consumers' access to supplements. (Be sure to vote him back!)
At least for the short term, opposition appears to be strong for Durbin's proposal, Emord reported. The Senator has been an advocate for regulation across the board, "except when it comes to hammering the drug industry for its undue influence over the FDA," he noted, adding that pharmaceutical companies likely feel threatened by the supplement industry.
At the same time, the FDA continues to approve drugs that may be unsafe such as Brisdelle, a menopause treatment, he remarked.

Emord drafted the first GMO labeling bill to become law in the US, in the state of Connecticut. While he's pleased with this breakthrough, an amendment to the law pushes back the start of the food labeling, until at least four other states pass a similar bill.
Monsanto is fighting against such efforts, calling it a first amendment violation.

Politicization of the IRS in targeting conservative groups, NSA surveillance, and the poor record of President Obama in fulfilling transparency and honesty in government. Emord announced he'll be hosting a new radio show on the Genesis Communication Network starting July 22nd.

CHINA'S MORE HUMAN THAN USA

"Remember thy parents so thy days will be long on the earth...history ref. scripture i.e.''
Well it's happening all over the world. Throw away parents. In America it becoming more so with cost of living on the rise and kids having a difficult time. However, that's always been a problem and it's no different today. Kids today take what social security the grand-parents, parents have coming and throw them a bone. Government's and corporations do it too.  The drug and health industries make billions off them and stick them in money making Asst. Living Corporation's that are more abandable by the day...oh, bring your own tissues, and toilet paper and steal the rest.
Nursing home is a living terror, packed into small rooms with anyone, mental problems and with 4 to a bathroom. These should be outlawed in America, but it's better than the streets.

New Chinese law requires adult kids to care for aged parents because of China's increasing difficulty care for their aging population. Beijing_Visit your parents. That's an order.

So says China, whose national legislature on Friday amended its law on the elderly to require that adult children visit their aging parents "often" — or risk being sued by them.

State media say the new clause will allow elderly parents who feel neglected by their children to take them to court. The move comes as reports abound of elderly parents being abandoned or ignored by their children.
