However: Compare with the McDougal's Diet both on PBS
Dr. John McDougall,
In the first half, physician and nutrition expert Dr. John McDougall argued that if people switch to a near vegan diet, high in starches such as wheat, rice, corn, and potatoes, they will actually be healthier, and able to lose excess weight. The increase in obesity and illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease are due to a diet of rich foods like meat, dairy, oils, and sugar, he suggested. The Pritikin Diet (similar to McDougall's Diet), popular in the 1970s, was fought against by the meat and dairy industry, who used lobbyists and other means to push their products as healthy to consume, he continued.
The low carb diet, such as Atkins, and newer variations like Wheat Belly and Grain Brain recommend the opposite of the McDougall Diet, telling people to eat meat, dairy, eggs, and oil and to not eat wheat, rice, corn, and potatoes. They take a little bit of truth-- that sugar is bad for people and exaggerate it, he said. "Just because sugar isn't good for people, doesn't mean that potatoes are bad for people, or bread is bad for people...These are traditional foods...your grandma and grandpa ate these foods, worked hard in the fields, went to battle on these foods. Why all of a sudden have they become evil foods?," he asked. McDougall cited how one of his patients, Olympic athlete Carl Lewis, followed his diet, and set the world record for the 100 meter dash. He also noted that ancient gladiators were vegan. "Why do you think the gladiators lived on barley and beans, and not meat? Because it was bad form to lose in the Coliseum...and they knew to be strong and enduring they needed to eat the right food," he remarked.

Future Farms' Will Uses No Soil and 95% Less Water (Zuke)

Did you know? Zukes has enough protein? For Raw Vegans zucchini has 7.5 grams of high quality protein score 89 (higher than milk) per 100 calories and more water than tomatoes to hydrate the body, (cow milk has 5.3 grams of protein of score 85 per 100 calories - totally inferior to zucchini - almost zero biophotons and far less water/calorie), cooked lentils have 7.75 grams of protein of score 86 per 100 calories but zero biophotons and zero hydrating water, tomatoes have 5 grams of protein score 52 (so you need to eat a lot more to get some amino acids) per 100 cal. Watermelon has 2 grams of protein per 100 calories, while bananas have 1.2 grams of protein per 100 calories. Banana protein score is 62, watermelon 52, but both are very incomplete. Watermelon has more photons, hydrates more, has more protein, even adjusted for lower score, so watermelon wins among all common fruits by far for biophotons and hydration, but is inferior to tomatoes and zucchini. No other sweet non-tomato fruit comes close in water, biophoton and protein per calorie content. Kiwi has 1.8 grams of ultra high quality protein/100 calories, amino acid score 108 (higher score than any fruit, even pineapple 81 with 1.0 grams of protein per 100 calories), but kiwi lacks water and many biophotons, the key ingredients to a dehydrated world. So, kiwi and pineapple are way better proteins than bananas, but are way behind the raw soft zucchini, which beats tomatoes big time in quality and quantity of protein.

Yellow bell pepper has score of 86, higher than milk, and 3.7 grams of protein per 100 calories. Spinach has 12.5 grams of protein per 100 calories with score 119, way higher than milk 85. Kale has 6.6 grams of protein per 100 calories with amino acid score of 92. Raw broccoli has 8.4 grams of protein per 100 calories with amino acid score of 83. Spinach, kale, broccoli kill the plant if eaten and are impossible to eat raw in large amounts due to oxalate in spinach and goitrogens for all cruciferous veggies. Government does not know more than we do. The food pyramid is incorrect again.  WE DO NOT NEED SO MUCH PROTEIN. WE NEED A GOOD BALANCE OF PROTEIN AND FIBER I.E.
