Calories from starch, sugar and other carbohydrates are not "stored" in you body as easily as calories from fat. They are also high in fiber. So the bulk of your diet should be from complex carbs. These fibrous foods help satisfy hunger.. Add of these foods more in your diets if you need to loose weight and get more healthy.
