In the first half, physician and nutrition expert Dr. John McDougall argued that if people switch to a near vegan diet, high in starches such as wheat, rice, corn, and potatoes, they will actually be healthier, and able to lose excess weight. The increase in obesity and illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease are due to a diet of rich foods like meat, dairy, oils, and sugar, he suggested. The Pritikin Diet (similar to McDougall's Diet), popular in the 1970s, was fought against by the meat and dairy industry, who used lobbyists and other means to push their products as healthy to consume, he continued.
The low carb diet, such as Atkins, and newer variations like Wheat Belly and Grain Brain recommend the opposite of the McDougall Diet, telling people to eat meat, dairy, eggs, and oil and to not eat wheat, rice, corn, and potatoes. They take a little bit of truth-- that sugar is bad for people and exaggerate it, he said. "Just because sugar isn't good for people, doesn't mean that potatoes are bad for people, or bread is bad for people...These are traditional foods...your grandma and grandpa ate these foods, worked hard in the fields, went to battle on these foods. Why all of a sudden have they become evil foods?," he asked. McDougall cited how one of his patients, Olympic athlete Carl Lewis, followed his diet, and set the world record for the 100 meter dash. He also noted that ancient gladiators were vegan. "Why do you think the gladiators lived on barley and beans, and not meat? Because it was bad form to lose in the Coliseum...and they knew to be strong and enduring they needed to eat the right food," he remarked.

I love Ventura's water diet. I agree. I find I lose weight with just water and no diet drinks. One reason, I dislike atheist Jesse Ventura and it why he'll never be President but then, how do you explain Hillary? After he made his public non-Christian statement it was over for me.
My dad was a atheist and a mean man! Proud that JBW held his ground. Ventura is ahead in foreign affairs. America is gutsy to police and keep bases in foreign countries, who do we think we are? $$$
Why don't John air to "solar radio? Rush is moving there as he doesn't like what his station wants him to do or say. (Control?)

LOWERING BLOOD SUGARS

Fasting is most important if your diabetic. Yes, it's essential to fast but, left off your doctor's list to do. He's not trying to heal you, because with his remedies he can't. This remedy will reverse diabetes. On A1C diabetic test your doctor requires a fast to get the over-all results to your blood sugars. This really is no different. Most doctors don't recommend it because they are not familiar with the results on why and what happens as the sick fast.
Next, the reason is most are too ignorant to know how to fast and why.
Do not take diabetic med's on fast day. One could get out of control. For-instance, your sugars may drop too low if you would take pills or insulin at this time. However, if you don't use anything at all during the fast you'll be fine. (And, have your blood meter handy. Many are too afraid to fast because of rhetoric fear propaganda stemming from the drug corporations which don't know much or they could cure the disease.)
Let me tell you by experience, in the long run this will lower blood sugars. IT THE MEDICATIONS THAT MAKE THE DISEASE WORSE WITH COMPLICATIONS. Studies say blood sugars, with their other problems associated with this disease, tend to worsen as they get older, however, this will check these problems. (It will reverse it if followed monthly.)

If you divide the day on a fast, the second half of this day your blood sugar will make a sharp incline. You'll be puzzled why? You didn't eat anything. Don't panic. It's because the liver has a chance to dump the stored excess sugar. But after this part the numbers will descend. As it cleanses out toxins, poisons, chemicals, drugs, parasites along with chipping off the disease.
At least fast continually once a month. Try the week-end like Sunday. Prepare yourself with reading material i.e. even teas or broths just in case you don't want to blow it completely if you can't make it all the way. Start with only one meal or, try two later, three than 24 hours of fasting.
As this will depend on how you feel. (This can easily be switched to a semi fast rather than totally giving up.)
Some don't need water, it give all the organs a rest. I do drink so to dilute poisons going thought the liver, the blood, and kidneys. Some of us are too polluted and filthy to do no water. Try cold water because it slows down the poisons and hunger. Many are too polluted with street and other drugs, herbicides, aspartame, GMO, MSG, chemicals, accumulated pesticides, caffeine, smoking cravings will come as the nicotine passed through the liver and in the blood that's why many give up. They do not understand to dilute, and that too will pass.
It's best not to fast or end the fast with fruit or fruit juices. The reason is fruit speeds up the process of elimination, but its too fast for most inexperienced fasting persons. I got out of control when ending a 3 day fast with lemon aide. (I built up to this type of fast.) I swear every drug I had ever taken came out and depression set in as the drugs came out. Never again! Meat will block up all the elimination you've done too. Use plant based diet or mild foods (same thing) and you'll feel great. Then start again with your medications.
Since you fasted, ask God for his blessings, give to the poor the meals you've done without, and most of all give thanks to him for this knowledge.

I was happy to see this ews Non the TV. I then followed the new release up because it is an important view of diets. It's being to prove and now moving toware concepts that we do not need to eat all the protein, dairy to loose weight or to control insulin with so much meat in the diabetic diets. I’m not a Vegan, thank you and doing well just to cut back on any consumption of meat and dairy in a vegetarian mode. More food (including all plant food) research needs to be done here by big Universities. However this big effort in the Health and Medical area is looking good. Vegan helps diabetics
This was posted, Jul 28th 2006 9:03 AM by Nicole Weston Filed under: Science, Vegan, Health & Medical A study organized by researchers at George Washington University, the University of Toronto and the University of North Carolina, in conjunction with the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine, has concluded that following a low-fat, vegan diet may actually reverse the symptoms of diabetes. The study had participants with type II diabetes and assigned them to either a vegan diet or the standard American Diabetes Association diet. Vegans cut out all animal products, including dairy and meat, and had less refined sugar. The ADA diet varies based on factors such as body weight, cholesterol, so it is much more specific in what dieters can eat. The vegan diet was easier to follow because the people in that group did not have to count calories or measure portion sizes, unlike the ADA diet, and this was evidenced by the fact that fewer people in the vegan group dropped out of the study than in the other group. By the end of the study, which lasted 22 weeks, "43 percent of those on the vegan diet and 26 percent of those on the standard diet were either able to stop taking some of their drugs such as insulin or glucose-control medications, or lowered the doses." An additional benefit was the weight loss (14-lb on the vegan diet, 6.8-lb non-vegan) many participants experienced. The results of the study are an indicator that dietary changes can have a significant impact on health and some physicians hope that such changes will be considered as a first line of treatment in cases of type II diabetes, instead of automatically reverting to drugs. In all probability, a combination of the two will work the best, but actually seeing a reversal of the effects of diabetes is strong evidence and will hopefully motivate more people to change their diets.

Herbals Used For Diabetes

Some of the popular herbs used for diabetes: This is a listed fact sheet most of which I’ve used myself. However, every time you hear of a product or another herb for diabetes record it when you've use it. Then record why didn't work. I keep forgetting the why not's. Some of these herbs been out there for a long time so what to try what next? I’ve found no magic “cure all s” but all of us keep searching. Some herbs like Fenugreek I’ve gone back to because I realized the dosage was incorrectly. Changed the dosage and now favor it. So it is with herbs. The dosage, your weight, and what you're using with it (drugs) will make a difference. Exactly what is that herb suppose to do specifically is important. If you don’t use it correctly you may mess up and pass up a good herb like I have done many times. And some are just a lot of hype.
And I've been guilty of using two liver herbs, most important in any diabetic regime, so cut back on one, note if your taking a formula along with its liver herbals. Here are some places I've been that may aid others. Most did not work out...You need a liver herb to work on the over production of sugar, especially at the “Dawn Effect” in the mornings. Don't forget this disease is a virus, and use, every day, a parasitical herbal. Plus, if your taking insulin you'll always have to get rid of the yeast. (In insulin too)

1. Banaba
2. Bitter Mellon (Absorbs insulin and improves the cells) (Momordica Charantia comes from Asia) Many swear by this herb. My neighbor get great results from it and can’t be with out it. He only takes the diabetic pills and I’m on insulin and am insulin resistant. I haven’t noticed anything from it. He uses two every meal.
3. Gymnema Sylvestre (400 mg daily) This dosage didn’t work for me; maybe I needed to take more. It’s supposed to absorb sugar? 4. Glucomannan (from Konjac Root is not the same, but fiber seems to help absorb sugar. I like Apple Pectin too.

6. Rosemary
7. Chromium Picolinate 1 gram broken up through out the day (This may come from yeast product so careful here. Diabetes doesn’t need more yeast and it works if you get enough, however when you get too much you’re body quits producing that mineral.
8. Zinc (50 mg)
9. Biotin (may reduce pain 16 mg.) Use all B vitamins with a B Complex to balance out and of the B’s or they may do harm. (Watch closely to see if they are increasing your appetite.) Some actually work better by not going through the liver and directly to through the blood under the tongue.

13. Garlic and Onion

15. Licorice extract (degliycerized)
16. Cinnamon (Increased appetites at first in some, use a water based only) I understand it has to be a very good quality of cinnamon so test your product in a small bottle from the company first. It has never worked for me, but I may not have use the best quality. It does kill parasites.
17. Yarrow (Bitter herb and get rid of parasites.)
18. Cayenne
19. Juniper Berries Some swears by this herb along with Golden seal Root that’s very expensive. 20. Huckle berries
21. Vanadyl Sulfate (Not much success but most of my tries have been in a formula.
*22. Fenugreek extract or pill (Work because of the fiber that slows down digestion, 5 grams in 2 doses.)

25. Alpha Lipoic Acid (4-6 grams a day) all doses here depends on you and the severity of the disease along with your weight. Over advertised so this has become expensive way to go.
26. Pterocarpus Marsipium or Vijaysar (Gluco Care, by Himalava) etc.
27. Eleotin formula? Yadda yadda yadda, Kevin Trudeau book (I can’t afford some of these, so why bother and what does he know about anything. Check the thrift stores for his books.)

30. Virgin Coconut oil (parasites) This gives me lots of energy, but doesn’t replace insulin. People who say this works don’t have a bad case of diabetes. But, I keep it on hand and take it periodically because of the energy to the brain and to you. In diabetes you need to get rid of the parasite, which is always involve. One of the insulin's has E coli and the other yeast as its /carrier or timer to sustain the insulin or time it.

33. YinVive (Sorry, most these Asian countries do not have experience with large populous of US plague in over weight and diabetes) They're actually healthier, because eat simpler and better.) Check out these herbs in the formula and research them out before you buy these types of products! If theirs a secret"...their’s your sign...!" Remember piranhas are in this business like the weight plague and smell money just as much as the pharmacy's.
34. Vitamin A, E, C, D, B6 150 mg., niacinamide (Use your body weight dosage here) The B's need a complex along with it's B supplements.
35. Magnesium 750 mg daily
36. Manganese 10 mg daily
37. MG, Bata Glucan 10- 20 mg daily
*38. Liver herbs are needed and are important to get the excess over toxin sugar in balance. Dandelion, Blessed Thistle, *Yellow dock and Burdock root or from seed i.e.

40. Hawthorn Berry (heart too)
*41. Wild oil of Oregano (4-10 drops), *Olive leaf extract 500 build up to 1 ½ grams, Caprylic acid,is actually coconut, these are all for parasite involved with diabetes. Do alternate them. See my parasite page for more.
42. BASIC: Any exercise will make a difference in blood sugar, use the stair, park further from the doors of the supermarket, even, Yoga i.e. (20 minutes a day or three times a week faithfully) 43. Probiotic therapy especially with adding insulin with parasites or fungi that is in their shots. Yogurt tablet (good quality) with every shot, or ACV and baking soda.
44. Aloe Vera (a lot of these suggestion deal with parasites or toxins that should be dealt with in any diabetic therapy.)
45. Lots of water (distilled or pure) will bring blood sugar down (no, I didn’t say other liquids). It will bring it down as much as 20-30 units sometimes.
46. Fast: This resets your set point or metabolism for the month and over all lower blood sugar each month you fast, till it completely comes down. When you fast do not use diabetic pills or insulin or you’ll need to semi-fast on mild foods (no proteins). See page on Semi Fasting. Also (Use a meter if you have one for your sugar measurements, for the liver will throw off excess sugar that has been stored and it may rise a little at first during a fast.) http://www.shermsorganicnews.blogspot.com/ check my archives.
47. Blood sugar meter is a must: It beats the Doctor fees and let you have control, but it can be over done. If you last ate less than 4 hours the blood sugar even if you’ve taken insulin will be high. Normal will be naturally high because you ate within 4 hours. Even, doctors don’t get this. It's more accurate in the morning or 4 hrs. after the last meal, even a drink can throw this off.
48. Add Lobelia tincture to formulas (removes poisons from drugs, that are chemicals and in our foods i.e.) (This is a herb that needs to be look into, check my archive's for more details)
49. Get off all chemicals (these are drugs) slowly decreasing the dosage. For some you will need a doctor who will be reluctant. Check on the Internet for the drugs and some herbs that affect BS.
50. Eat Healthy Fats! Avocados, healthy smaller fish, Flaxseed, Mono’s, Omega’s 6 and 9 but count the other fats as more unhealthy. Nothing will happen unless you have a healthy diet and food.
51. Keep a diabetic log: Count all blood sugars through out the day and the amount of insulin taken and time. Meals and snacks, how you felt that day, and after eating that meal and repeat your successes. Write down snacks and what you ate before going to bed, i.e. Be sure to list the vitamin, minerals, and all herbs supplements and when and how they made you feel. I cannot tell you how valuable this is. They do have weekly calendars with room to accomplish this on.
52. Wash out mouth and brush tongue (hydrogen peroxide, or apple cider vinegar and rinse afterward to rid the body of bacteria and viruses.
53. Fiber Pill will not work all by themselves. Count out your fiber every meal to about 20-35 grams a day from a plant base diet. Fibers such as Psyllium, Guargum, Alginate, Carrageenan pectin i.e. all slow down absorption with the digestion of glucose and reduces the absorption of calories. 1-2 grams of fibrous foods in the beginning of the meal will help all diabetics. Eat lots of legumes, whole wheat breads, Avocados and soups. I really did this wrong till I got it right. We do not need all that fiber...just some every single eating.
54. Candi zime or Candex (Yeast) etc (There are many of these type of products on the market. However when you "shoot up" with insulin i.e. "yeast" there is no end to yeast and its long term problems.)
55. Epicatechin
56. Green Tea (2 cups a day (polyphenals) Other teas have the most antioxidants that work great on weight thus B.S. (Yerba Mate, i.e. See my tea posts.
57. Organically grown plants to multiple and mineral vitamin but high quality (most are hull or culls) I prefer the liquids if you are sick. The formulas in vitamins are awful some ingredients cannot be chelated with in the body at all.
58. Touchi Extract 300 mg before each meal (at least 6 mo. All herbs have a period of lap in time before they become effective.)
59. Mulberry extract (Morus Indica from Japan the best?)
60. Bilberry extract Why, because of the anti antioxidants found mostly in teas and berries.?
61. Ginkgo Biloba (watch out do your research here) 100-240 mg. It may take two week for it to kick in. Stop before surgeries and not with aspirin therapies. (This will thin the blood)

Did you know insulin stops the production of hormones in you body? If you get too much of anything it will signal to the body that its not needed. They are not being utilities because of the fat growth hormones that are in insulin being taken.
It takes a lot of hormones to digest meat! Everything in the body actually has to be change to glucose. “One matter cannot go into another matter…so your never a part of the pig, cow, chicken etc.” that means that cow or chicken does not remain a chicken or the actual protein. The body actually has to make it own proteins. It does not come from the outside through supplements as much as the manufactures want you to believe. Any food in supplements help because it a food and better if.
Yeast: Potassium sorbate (Mountain Laurel Ash is a tree and berries, Sheep Laurel, Sorbus species) this is for potential fungicide (yeast) stops the growth of yeast at the correct time during their beer processing, used in brewing beer. 3% solution by adding 8 grams (1 Tbs.) to a cup of water. (Insert cotton or gauze into vagina i.e. The sulfates properties inhibits the yeast, and Vinegar bacteria, mother inhibits yeast and aids in insulin resistance. To start with the elderly especially need to have a bowel movement every day eliminating sluggish body toxins from their bodies, other wise not doing so will acerbate any disease. So lets start here. They need the best nutritious foods and take organic supplements every day.


 Drink lots of warm body temperature water, which is utilized immediately. Make use of good teas, fresh lemon, ginger, baking soda will jump start your day.). Coffee can jump start up senior’s body in the mornings but its acid and not alkaline. Coffee can have some benefits for mental disorders such as Alzheimer’s, senility and dementia. Don’t over do this or you’ll have a sleeping problem at night. Never after 3:00 pm. Chamomile tea, baking soda, or any chlorophyll will keep your body the right PH. Soda Pops actually leach out vital minerals of the elderly.




1. Colon Care: Bowel movements are essential everyday to clear out old and newer toxins. Castor Oil can actually heal the colon and is still a good old-times remedy. (Add to ii molasses and/or prune juice on empty stomach. It can also be capped in 000 capsules and used as needed for evacuations. Meta Musil with psysllium or use in another colon care remedy. Fenugreek is great for hemorrhoids, and pain.
2. Colon: Milk of Magnesia, a laxative and antacid, if you only take one Tbs or less. (Adult) right before bed will stop frequent urination at night. (For children or adult adjust the dosage so it will not be a laxative. 4. Diet: Add in soups, senior need something easy and quick to eat choose the best buy. Like a more healthy products in TV dinners or canned soups. Do compare sodium; sugar and most especially watch fiber contents on the labels. If it has over 3 to 500 of sodium buy another brand it will be too salty and hold water in tissues. No trans fats. Example: If cream of mushroom soup has one gram of fiber and another brand has 0 fiber buy the more fibrous brand. Think it through…less fiber less mushroom and more water. Avoid Mono sodium Glutamate (MGS) it affects the brain cells (Alzheimer’s-memory.)
5. Diet: Avoid eat “fast foods” such as, KFC that has too much trans fats in their oils do not buy till they change. Seniors eat out a lot because they have a hard time cooking. This company does not use “organic grown chickens Patronize companies that do and have discounts for their seniors. This is only one example they’re others healthier fast-food restaurants. Avoid-too much animal “protein” if kidney is a problem with especially the senior stage of life.
6. Diet: Warm jello water is best for any upset stomach problems like in a 24 hr. virus. It will stop any throw-up as long as the jello stays on the stomach and the rest passes on.
7. Diet: Organically grown dried fruits such as papaya, pineapple i.e. are excellent natural enzymes for the stomach and colon a few at every meal. Dried banana chip gives excellent potassium when needed. They’ll need water with them.
8. Diet: No sugar juices. Try cranberry juices excellent for the old plumbing just mix with apple juice, pear juice or white grape i.e. (no sugar). A lemon in distilled or purified water is a must in the morning to clear out toxins bringing the body back to a natural pH. It will give seniors the best start for the day.
9. Diet: Lemons and kiwi is an excellent natural diuretic every day for any fluid retention, but not close to bedtime. (Lots of different fruits and veggies have the same properties, papaya, watermelon, or celery i.e.)

Diet: Greens (chlorophyll , especially gets older bodies back 6-7 PH level or alkaline) is a must every meal is a must for senior because they do not get enough nutrition and have been strip of many nutrients because of the over-use of drugs and incorrect habit of eating. Most vitamin and mineral supplements are not formulated correctly and are a waste of good money. But if you must use vitamin and mineral supplements use the ones that are chewable or in a forms like liquids that are digested before they reach the colon. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables every meal. (Rebuilds-neutralizes the body pH)
11. Diet: A good organic, non-GMO, yogurt is necessary to keep a good flora going in the colon if you’re taking any drugs most especially anti biotic’s but not together. Drugs wipe out the balance of good flora in the gut. A must once a week buy yogurt for your best health. Never use products with Rbgh hormones.
12. Diet: Have some legumes 2-3 times a week. They are full of fiber, natural serotonin for the brain, and the colon followed with a green salad. Read more in the scripture in Hebrews. Too many seniors ignore foods for the brain, including nuts.
13. Diet: Use good whole complex organic grains especially whole wheat that still is the staff of life. Don’t skip a day without eating some version of a good grain product. 14. Diet: A must every day is an organic, (in season or raw) simplified, basic milder foods. Watches the glycemic index, for using complex fibrous foods. Especially, if you have diabetes add omega oils that will slow the digestion process down. Meats, or animal proteins will corral up the sugar in the system making it hard on the organs and getting the sugar out of the body. Water help here too. Water will dilute the poisons, (sugars). Grains and vegetables that use fiber as it rounds it all up then clearing it more efficiently out of the system quicker than protein that holds this process up.

The new strategies to therapy for seniors to exercise equipment, swimming pools, dietitian counseling, i.e. unfortunately are only for the richer class whose insurance are smart enough to pay for it our governmental insurances won’t.

23. Hormones: Too many inorganic hormones Rbgh and chemicals in dairy, meat and female-male pills they bulk people up like the animals. Try using natural ones instead at this time of life. Alfalfa, work up to about 10 a day, is a must to regulate the hormones glands though out the body. It’s one of the best sources of calcium, vitamins and minerals that are depleted from senior. Alfalfa will aid in relaxing the body for good night sleep. Other hormonal herbs; Wild Yam, Black or Blue Cohosh, Chasetree, Schizandra, i.e. in many good formulas. Find one that suits your needs. 24. Home Care: First rule, It’s about you…personalize care in your unique home and individual needs. Learn to keep it “all-professional.’ Second, lock up all medications and anything that can be hocked. Third rule: get an agency that represents you and not mostly untrained college girls that you’re suppose to train with your energies. Start a “Senior Care Groups” to voice needs more fitting for senior to your allot government money...(SS, Medicare, Medicaid i.e.) Voices are needed by SENIORS lobbying state government for needed changes to home care. Most of these Health Care Professionals are only looking out for their interest using your SS no. Fourth rule: Watch out for abuse even in privacy issues and keep talking till you find someone to listen!
25. Hygiene: Bath with a natural glycerin soap or, find healthy liquid moisturized bath shower soap then add in your favorite essential oil such as Tree Oil, or etc to treat skin problems skin. The skin largest organ in the body will absorb some of these great oils on the market aiding further healing to bodies. This goes for shampoos too but watch out for too much sodium laurethate in these products. It too much for delicate hair and scalp adding to thinning, falling out of hair. Get a favorite scent or healing oil such as Eucalyptus, Rose, or Lavender i.e.
26. Hygiene: Zinc Oxide (About 40%)for a natural non-chemical deodorant. Use where ever necessary. A little goes a long way for a longer time. Don’t plug up the lymph system with bad deodorants especially with aluminum.

Each of us is at a different stage of disabilities may need a quick bath or wash like ReadyBath (Medline), Handy Wipes, or the stronger “Huggies.” They’re a must to keep by your bed and along side you commode. If incontinent don’t be embarrassed to use pads even sometimes diapers. Much of this can be delivered to your door in private. Never smell of urine or etc.
28. Hygiene: Such as Ready Bath, is a total body cleansing cloth. The cotton washcloths can be washed and reuse too. It's formula kills germs and eliminate odors. Rinse-Free (The very best on the Market, but other company’s have their own brand names.) 1-800-medline. Or, try Sensitive Huggies...and keep them by the toilet and bedside. It’s important to keep odors and bacteria down making it easier on home-helpers.

Hygiene: Incontinence: "MoliMed" Hartmann a maxi pads for incontinence (Germany based) (Best on the market that I know of) Or, cut a comfortable size diaper style made from white cotton, "quilt backing," get material from a fabric store will work and reusable. These reusable cloths come in handy for handkerchiefs, bibs and are great. Some extra large persons place under adipose or may use the folded baby diaper holding it in place at night or during the days for any leaks.

It will take a little time for it to begin to work and, is a continual process. (...mustard, or pickle juice the funnies one I head was a bar of ivory soap between the sheet...hummmm) Have water sitting on your night stand and sip it when you have cramps. The loss of too much water acerbates loss of potassium. Keep banana chips on your night stand too. Don't use diretic drugs they cause cramps.
38. Remedy: Make your own balms by using a base of Vaseline, lip balm or coconut oil adding in 1 capsule of an herb such as, goldenseal Root, Comfrey Root. (Or, add another herb that may be more personal with an essential oil such as the Eucalyptus, Wild Oregano Oil, i.e. It's a good remedy for bed sores is to add in a tad of Aloe Vera and Comfrey Root powder. It's so easy using a small jar of commercial lip balm as its base. Then add in the eucalyptus oil and menthol etc. making your own homemade balms. Just read the labels of the best high priced commercial ones for your ideas. You can make more, stronger, and even better than commercial brands. Make your own natural cosmetic using the same methods.
39. Remedy: Diabetics take a spoonful of organic coconut oil every meal, or use a Goldenseal Root patch that will last for about 3-4 days. (Juniper Berry, Fenugreek seed but not on an empty stomach)
40. Stomach: The stomach is the hub of the body and if used as garbage disposable for all foods it will not work for you. It has thus far been program by you…but you can up-date your software. The suggestion at this time would be to use “mild food diet.” Use plenty of in season fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, nuts and wholesome whole grains, meaning organically grown locally. A few herbs when needed for the stomach is ginger rt, marshmallow rt., slippery elm etc., or, foods such as okra or, even Chamomile teas turn the ph balance as needed for acid stomach. (Can’t list it all) Aloe Vera is great if taken with a meal. (Okra in soup)
41. Supplements: Natural Amino’s (L Arginine) works wonders to build upaged bodies. If there’s any urine smells try Arginine till the smell is gone. It’s just one of the body signs we need to pay attention to. Knox Gelatin is another good food source of amino acids. And try organically grown vitamins.
42. Supplements: Japanese Chinese Chlorella (broken cell) 3-5 g. daily or herbal combo like Veggies 4 Life. This herb is for energy, dementia, and dioxides, rebuilds tissues, rids body of metals and, boosts immune system. I don’t ever go into Spirulina i.e. for too many are allergic to fish and the plant, all sea algae, which they feed on in our polluted seas. “NOW” brand is good too, both are in here because seniors are on a fixed budget and these two are cheaper brands, unless you can afford better brands.
43. Supplements: Wachters Organic Sea Products (minerals) are excellent products to rebuild cells. (Pricey though) They have the best minerals known. When having children they use to be excellent product to produce healthy intelligent children. They rebuild the cells if you can handle the iodine these products. Use organic vitamin and minerals only.
44. Supplements: Chlorophyll of alfalfa, barley or wheat grass i.e. are another “rebuilders” seniors need and Comfrey root rebuild old decayed cells. (Do research here, if your on liver medications.)
45. Supplements: Joint-bone food such examples as vegetable glucosamine (Fish glucosamine is far too risky for delicate bodies and most comes from fish), liquid vegetable collagen, amino acids, pectin, Jell-O, alfalfa i.e.
46. Supplements: Omega 3-6-9 especially for brain, pain, heart and organs. It will also keep your cholesterol down, your body limber and, for pain. (When you add oils to the diet alternate nuts and an omega oil, unless you have a mental disease etc. then add both) Avocadoes are a great source of fat. Look for GLA on labels too. Take with meals in fibrous foods both will slow they body’s digestion down. This will aid in not be so hungry before the next meat and aiding in keeping blood sugars under control.
47. Brain: Ginkgo Biloba (standardized to contain 24% flavone glycosides). Do research here, not with blood thinner drugs or before surgeries. If you have any fog in thinking this may be just the herb for seniors.

Reversing Chronic Disease

This Semi Fast Will Begin to Reverse Chronic Disease and lose weight. One way is "FASTING" the second is working and adjusting your diet with “Milder Foods” The next is, as we get closer to a millennium health we will understand these principles more. This is a basic semi fasting with mild foods to be understood and used before any instructions on herbs and other home herbal remedies. However, herbs and any home remedy's will also be included (plants based) with "Mild Foods."
If you can't "fast", which is truly natures surgeon, if the weakest person can always do this semi fast, and may also be too weak or full of toxins to do a fast. How often or long depends desired health results, but should be done at least monthly to maintain good health. (Creates a new "set point.") Fast is not cover here but will be in another page. As added note to diabetics which is told cannot fast. Yet, they do fast to get their test results every three months, but have to stop any insulin or pills to do so checking their meter and carrying food if needed. However,
on a semi-fast, they can successfully fast. It is better for the diabetic to use more vegetables than fruits however or add in complex bread to slow elimination process down a bit, but bread will not completely stop this healing process, adding proteins will.

A Semi-Fast (mucus less diet) will reverse chronic diseases. The following diet is all mild foods that help nature naturally clear the body of toxic wastes. All disease is a toxin starting from the colon. It is a great weight lose tool too clearing out fat. Nature has her rules, which our carnal bodies are subject and predicated from? Obedient to her learned laws, only then, will health make an appearance. A semi Fast is also a mild food fast, but more toward "fasting" because concentrated food are cut out while on the fast.

Let me give you an example of a semi-fast more familiar to some that you may have already done and not know this is form of semi fasting.

Arthritis Cleanse (Their are many more sample mild food specifically designed for healing a disease) Stiff joins are relieved with this program. (Two weeks)
Broth water
2 lbs diced potatoes (not peeled)
About 3 clove of diced garlic
3 stalks diced celery
1/4 cup of fresh parsley
In 2-3 quarts in boiling then reduced to a simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool, separate liquid from the pulp and throw away. Drink the broth though out the day and for the next two weeks. Or, make this up on a fast day and drink the whole 24 hours.

The only way the body will heal itself is through the following:
1. Fasting, 2. Semi-fasting, 3. Forced elimination. There is no other
ways.

Our bodies will begin to eliminate waste matter and clear itself using a fast, semi-fast or using "mild foods" in the diet. Mild foods are a slower pace for and the easiest for most of us. This diet is especially good when sick and you cannot fast. When was the last time you read upon any of these? three subjects? …”And whosoever among you are sick and have not faith to
be healed, but believe, shall be nourished with all tenderness, with herbs
and “mild food,”“
The semi-fast foods are in the category of mild because It is not hindering the natural eliminating process of the disease.

Semi-fast:
In the beginning, eat more vegetables than fruits. As you feel better, you can begin to eat more fruit, as fruit draws and loosens the waste more rapidly. Semi-Fasting (For Chronic Sickness): A semi-fast is mild foods to the system, which allow the body to clean house of toxins and yet, sustain they body health and energy at the same time. The following may have to be adjusted to your body’s illness. For instance, some cannot handle raw nor all the fiber. Later milk or grains
one at a time may be added also. 1. *All Fruits and Vegetables (raw whenever possible, fully ripen, ...live foods)! They are the first part of our food chain.

*Fruit juice, (raw (or fresh), frozen or canned)

Vegetable juice (raw-fresh if and when possible)

*Soft oils (cold first cold pressing, olive, grape, nut oils, safflower
... all mono's oils), omegia's...

*All raw nuts, seeds (If you can handle the fiber)

* Raw Honey (Stevia, an herbal sweetener) and a few others (Re: sugar
page)

The next is for longer period and for the very ill person to weak for the no fibrous juices only, and add as you get stronger.

Later Add: *Sprouts (alfalfa, beans and all grains), sprouted breads are found in health food stores and some grocery stores in the frozen sections and can be used here. Ezekiel 4:9 (Food For Life) puts out great sprouted grain bread. (Frozen sections of stores and Health Food Stores.) It does have yeast in it so it's not perfect, but I'm not covering parasite on these two papers.

*All starch vegetables baked (Potatoes, squash, parsnips and yams i.e.)
*Baking Potatoes baked at 500 turns it to glucose. There are no hormonal changes in the body to utilize it as glucose in the body. Start with the less fibrous potato i.e.

* Grains and Legumes when sprouted * (If sprouted they're quickly converted to a glucose sugar for the more weak)
* Legumes are considered vegetable-fruit see dictionary. They also may, at times, are also seed.

Avoid concentrated boxed, chemically, processed foods when chronically (acute) sick.

Avoid: Grains, sugars, includes artificial sweeteners, dairy products, butter, eggs, dried legumes, meats, peanuts, chips, junk foods, etc. while on this fast - cleanse.

First, Fruit is a builder, cleanser, healer and a perfect food for man.
However, it cleanses fast, or burns fast and "it speeds up the process of elimination, moving too much waste into the blood at one time. Some very ill persons cannot endure this fast cleansing.
Second, While vegetables "slows down that process, when eliminating
toxins, but may be more gentle cleanse. Some may want to use vegetable with a little fruit or vice-versa.
Thirdly, concentrated foods (proteins) bring cleaning to a screeching halt. I am not advocating that you always live on this diet. I am suggestion this diet is an easier way to live for the sick and weak.
Some are so chronically sick and weak they cannot do a fast alone. They are so filled with filth that their body began to choke on the poisons dumping into the blood stream. That's why I've added this "semi-fasting'' page. It also very hard to stop smoking when the body dumps the addiction.
Remember to dilute the poison.

It’s all about adding more fiber and relieving hunger for between meals to compliment any good diet. This will help you to be prepared for those hungry times when you could get into wrong things. And beside the vegetable and fruit with dips we rotate from now and then for variety add in some needed grains with lots of fiber. One suggestion is to include popcorn in your diet every day. Have it plain and you'll never tire as easily.

Nibble all day or/and carry it with you during the day as a pre-breakfast, pre-dinner, pre-lunch your appetite controller and as a mid-evening mini-meal, i.e. This will satisfy your hunger and prevent any panicky, impulsive eating’s. (I eat when I am hungry, small snacks during the day. Don't let your body starve; we, now,  know this puts on weight.)

One of my favorites reads was Diane Thornocks diet book, 2000+ calories. She was correct about her dieting ideas but she got carried away with fads, "Low Fat" and her ideas about too much meats in every meal...by the way she died of cancer (young too) Her books and all those fads diet books are available at thrift stores. Low fat proven out to harm to children’s brain mentally abilities.
Then comes along the zone diet proving by adding the right fats to your diet your mind actually becomes un-fogged and by adding the right fats (omegas) the dieter can actually lose weight better. However, I'm not going to do your research in this area today.

The point I wanted to make with this in mind is its OK to eat, eat, eat, but watch out that it's quality, fibrous, complex organically grown whole grain foods i.e.. That means lots of legumes, fresh fruits and vegetables in all varieties and no chemicals. Even dairy shouldn’t have hormones and etc. (see my dairy pages) You can eat a lot more quality foods, but not in the incorrect areas such as pre-boxed, packaged, pre-prepared and chemically treated, fake sugars, and sodas are all out. Because they don’t meet the first criteria of quality, fresh and seasonal foods then balance it all out with the variety. It’s not quantity so much but the quality. One person said not boxed nor packaged, well it make sense to me for the most part.

Try different brands of popcorn but no GMO corn. It's all accumulative and chemicals and lack of nutrition adds up in our bodies. Bad nutrition will catch up with us all and put on weight because it put the body in a starving mode. It lacks the essentials. So, eat, and be choosy!

Carry popcorn in your purse, in your car, to work, school, movie, sporting events and keep it with you at all times. A plastic zip bag is great and it keeps it fresh and tasty. Add nuts and such if you need a change. If your popcorn doesn't look good and tasty, you're probably not hungry. Therefore you shouldn't eat popcorn or anything else for that matter till you are hungry.

Use Air-Poppers or on top of the stove in a two quart pan with a good tight lid. Make sure the oil is hot before adding the popcorn. Use enough olive oil just covering one layer of popcorn then shake it once in a while and add sea salt. When using sea salt you’ll not need much and add organic butter (no fat hormones which would defeats the whole purpose, or use WF Pam butter spray on top.

Get a paper bag add ¼ cup Organic popcorn, salt and a bit of oil and bingo you have microwave popcorn. Same directions as the store brand bag style, but no chemicals.

Store in a plastic zip locked bag to keep it fresh. Make up enough to last the week, or day. NEVER use the microwave popcorn with too many added chemicals.

Add 1-2 Tb. of water in old UN popped corn and place in fridge to put back its moisture. I prefer the white popcorn with no kernels. Watch out; don't choke on the “old maids.”

This will facilitate clearing out your gastrointestinal tract through healthy regular bowel movements. Take advantage of the dry salty taste and drinking plenty of good water while eating the fiber-rich popcorn. Make you evening popcorn as close as possible to the time you go to bed. I always loose lbs my popcorn weeks.

You can add cut up veggies and fresh fruit with the organically grown popcorn. If faithful they will begin to say, You’re too thin!
