The ancient Aztecs reportedly used passionflower as a sedative and pain reliever. Today herbalists also recommend it as a sedative and antispasmodic agent.
Passionflower can be such a potent herbal remedy because it calms muscle tension and twitching without affecting respiratory rate or mental function the way many pharmaceutical sedatives do. Find out how harvesting and using the entire aboveground part of the plant -- leaf, stem, and flower -- can provide relief. Uses for Passionflower
Passionflower has been used for anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, epilepsy, and other conditions of hyperactivity, as well as high blood pressure. Passionflower also is included in many pain formulas when discomfort is caused by muscle tension and emotional turmoil.
In Europe the flowers are added to numerous pharmaceuticals to treat nerve disorders, heart palpitations, anxiety, and high blood pressure. Unlike most sedative drugs, passionflower has been shown to be nonaddictive, although it is not a strong pain reliever.Passionflower Precautions and Warnings
Passionflower is generally considered to be nontoxic when used in moderation. Many herbalists prescribe three or four cups a day without any problems reported. Do not take passionflower if you are already taking prescription medication for anxiety or depression, as excessive sleepiness has been reported.
Also be aware that passionflower's close relative, blue passionflower, should not be used, as it does not have the same activity. Passionflower Side Effects
Depression of the nervous system may result in fatigue and mental fogginess if you take too much passionflower for too long. Start with a low dose several times a day and increase as you learn how you respond to passionflower.
Passionflower was formerly approved as an over-the-counter sedative and sleep aid in the U.S., but it was taken off the market in 1978 because safety and effectiveness had not been proven. However, passionflower may still be available alone or in combination with other herbal products.

Ginger Destroys Cancer More Effectively Than Death-Linked Cancer Drugs
I learned to like ginger using it in my wonton recipe. Theirs a candy they make of dried ginger/sugar, it's fantastic for stomach and keeping pH levels. (found at HFS) I use to make herbal formula's; never left out ginger as it pads any stomach problems when used with any other herbs (catalyst) and help them to go where they need to go in the body. Great for children and nauseated mother's to be and headaches. If you have pain from arthritis, etc Ginger will bring the body back to a natural pH and kill the pain. I use the health food stores candied ginger and it works every time or, Baking Soda
Try the lemon, cuke and ginger beverage for weight. Dr. Oz i.e. It the root that makes it powerful. If using this herb for healing purposes be sure it hasn't been grown in bad soil where they've used chemicals. This will damage the healing properties.
Ginger, a cousin spice of super anti-cancer substance turmeric, is known for its ability to shrink tumors. Astoundingly, it is even more effective than many cancer drugs, which have been shown to be completely ineffective and actually accelerate the death of cancer patients. Commonly consumed across the world in small doses among food and beverage products, the medicinal properties of ginger far surpass even advanced pharmaceutical inventions.
*The subject of one study based out of Georgia State University, whole ginger extract was revealed to shrink prostate tumor size by a whopping 56% in mice. The anticancer properties were observed in addition to ginger’s role in reducing inflammation as well as being a rich source of life-enhancing antioxidants. But what about cancer drugs? Could this simple spice really topple the advanced pharmaceuticals that are often touted as the ‘only option’ for cancer patients by medical doctors?
It turns out that cancer drugs are not only severely ineffective at permanently shrinking tumors, but they actually make tumors larger and kill the patient more quickly. More specifically, the tumors have been found to ‘metasize’, meaning they come back bigger and more stronger than their original size. What’s more, the ‘metasizing’ was found to be very aggressive. According to scientists Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, the premium priced drugs were little more than death sentences for many patients.
“Whatever manipulations we’re doing to tumors can inadvertently do something to increase the tumor numbers to become more metastatic, which is what kills patients at the end of the day,” said study author Dr. Raghu Kalluri.
These are the very drugs considered to be the scientifically proven solution by mainstream health officials.
Meanwhile, ginger presents virtually no side effects and has been used as a food product by many cultures for countless centuries. Instead of creating super tumors, whole ginger extract was shown to exert significant growth-inhibiting and death-inductory effects in a spectrum of prostate cancer cells. (Ginger should be in all prostate cancer formulas) ANOTHER USE FOR GINGER: http://www.herbs-info.com/blog/ginger-press-amazing-an-natural-pain-killer/?c=dPAIN
"Over 17 other studies have also reached similar conclusions on ginger’s anticancer benefits, with the spice being shown by peer-reviewed research to positively impact beyond 101 diseases.
Given that drug companies aren’t even close to finding an Alzheimer’s disease prevention treatment and there are no approved drugs to stop the disease progressing, McGeer said there’s evidence for people trying some safe and simple measures in their own kitchens.
Along with ginger, try blackberries, rhubarb, cinnamon, turmeric, cranberries, pomegranate and blueberries. Those foods contain enzymes that block plaque buildup, McGeer told delegates at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Vancouver.
Plaque is made up of beta amyloid (A-beta) protein. Studies have shown A-beta deposits, sometimes called senile plaques, are in the brain many years before memory loss and other dementia symptoms appear." More News From Our Kitchen:

2. Herbal Catnip (Nepeta cataria) and memory
Central nervous system include is the part of the nervous system of the brain and spinal cord with function of integrates information it receives from for the entire nervous system, and control all the workings of your body.
Evidences emerged in the research community that certain ingredients plants and vegetable may improve the cognitive function by enhancing theirs antioxidant activity. Study of the effects of menthoides aqueous extract on memory retention and retrieval of mice using passive avoidance apparatus, the result showed that the extract has exerted its antioxidant effect by enhancing the memory retention and retrieval, these may be a result of the effects of the herb's rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid and phenolic acids.

3. Herbal catnip as repellent Beside the major constituent of terpenoid nepetalactone, the herb also contains α-Pinene, β-Pinene, Cyclohexen-1-yl-methyl ketone, Triplal, Thymol, Nepetalactone, Nepetalactone, etc.
Catnip may be used as repellent agent in protect skin against insect and may be used to as mosquito repellent against several Aedes and Culex species, both topically and spatially and can be considered as a relatively safe repellent, which may cause minor skin irritation.(1).
In Stomoxys calcitrans (L.) (Diptera: Muscidae) study, chemical compound from catnip oil tsuch as isolongifolenone, 2-methylpiperidinyl-3-cyclohexen-1-carboxamide and (1S,2'S)-2-methylpiperidinyl-3-cyclohexen-1-carboxamide, showed to effective a significant effect in repellency against stable flies(2).
But in the study by Chemicals Affecting Insect Behavior Laboratory, catnip oil and nepetalactone isomers are significantly less effective when compare with the repellents N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide (deet) and chiral (1S,2'S)-2-methylpiperidinyl-3-cyclohexene-1-carboxamide (SS220)(3).
3. Catnip and Anti inflammatory effect
Ingredients Beside the major constituent of terpenoid nepetalactone, the herb also contains α-Pinene, β-Pinene, Cyclohexen-1-yl-methyl ketone, Triplal, Thymol, Nepetalactone, Nepetalactone, etc.
Herbal catnip may be used as anti inflammatory agonist in treating chronic related inflammation disease. 4aα,7α,7aβ-nepetalactone and 1,8-cineole, a chemical compound from catnip, found in the main concentrated components of NP essential oil, showed to alleviate symptoms of both the acute and chronic forms of nociception, through its anti inflammatory effect in does depending manner, ibn rat study(1). In support of the above, the Tarbiat Modares University study showed that Nepeta crispa essential oil enhances anti-inflammatory effects in the formalin-induced paw inflammation model and significantly reduced the paw oedema in all applied doses(2). The coincidence of the proven inflammatory effect with insistence of herbalist may be due to its inhibition of calcineurin; an important regulator of T-cell mediated inflammation that has received little attention in ethnopharmacological research, Dr. Prescott TA and the research team at the Royal Botanic Gardens suggested(3).
Catnip as Antioxidants Cat seem to get drunk on the plant.
Free radicals are atoms, molecules, or ions with unpaired electrons through chemical bonds with other atoms or molecules during a chemical reaction. They may have positive, negative or zero charge. The unpaired electrons cause radicals to be highly chemically reactive in the human body, leading to aging and cancers.
Beside containing anti inflammatory effect, Catnip may also act as antioxidants in fighting against forming of free radicals. In fact, the study at the found that catnip and other plants used in folk medicine in the Mediterranean basin in the experiment showed to exhibit the deduction of reactive oxygen species produced by neutrophils, such as the superoxide anion and the hydroxyl radical, could be implicated in the overall reduction of inflammation(1). The testing of herbal medicine Teucrium chamaedrys L. and Nepeta cataria L. (Lamiaceae) used in traditional medicine in treatment of related inflammation, also support the antioxidant effect of catnip, through inhibition of calcineurin; an important regulator of T-cell mediated inflammation that has received little attention in ethnopharmacological research(2).

PREPPER LIST OF WILD HERBS OF NATIVE AMERICAN'S
(Arnica), Arnica Montana used throughout Europe and North
America since the 1500’s as a cream or ointment, effective for soothing muscles, reducing inflammation and healing wounds. When brewed as a tea, this amazing herb has been used for stress, sleeping problems, emotional trauma making it an excellent “meltdown herb.”
I've been using herbs that are collectable from your back yards for medicine cupboards in rough times as North America Indians have always used.
................
Eupatorium Perfoliatum (Boneset), an herb traditionally used by
Native Americans, who called it “Ague Weed,” now commonly called “#boneset.” It’s a great remedy for treating the symptoms of influenza, and helpful for treating aches and pains and fever. Occasional use of boneset leaves brewed as tea helps detoxify the body, removing excess uric acid. It also acts as to expulse other toxins. In a survival instance, this herb can mean the difference between life and death in high fever or poisoning.
............
Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), is one of the most widely used herbs for relieving an upset stomach, ulcers, menstrual cramps and is known for having anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial effects. A boutique soap and cosmetic maker charges upwards of $40 per bottle of skin toner made from calendula extract. You can make this at home. The most helpful use of calendula is as a tincture made from leaves or flowers, used as soak for poultices to help heal wounds. It is a great, natural antibacterial agent.
....................
5) Nepeta Cataria (Catnip), has a long history of being used as a digestive aid. It’s a natural sedative that also helps to ease digestion, colic and diarrhea. Dehydration caused by diarrhea, and high body temperatures caused by fevers can be life-threatening. A tea brewed from its leaves may help alleviate these symptoms. Catmint is also a mild sedative that naturally helps calm the nerves during stressful situations.
..............
6) Capsicum Annuum (Red Pepper),
is a powerful pain reliever when applied topically, and is used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis and shingles. Use this pepper to help with everything from seasickness to a fever. It is easy to grow, and versatile in use, which means it should be a staple of your survival medicine cabinet.
Insomnia Remedies
Note: do not use citrus fruit, or juice before bed time. It will keep you away.
It can be frustrating to wake up at three in the morning and not be able to go back to sleep or lay awake until you finally fall asleep. This is often debilitating, and an increasingly common condition:Insomnia affects about 15 to 20 percent of the population at any one time. The causes are many, and range from temporary stress, anxiety, ongoing chronic problems, or, a bad mattress, uncomfortable bedroom, bad mate and difficulties, life changes or lifestyles.
Insomnia can manifest itself in three ways: difficulty falling asleep, inability to stay asleep, and waking too early. I have added on other post many more herbs that could make this post longer but to keep it short will refrain from doing so. (Catnip: for small children, see: Lobelia tincture i.e.)
Chamomile: is a traditional herb used to treat insomnia.Herbal remedies are ideal for many, because few of them interfere with medications. The following supplements have been known to assist in relaxation and the ability to sleep soundly. They should be taken about 45 minutes before bedtime no earlier.
Valerian: Valerian is used as an effective and gentle sleep aid for the relief of occasional sleeplessness. Its said to take 900 mg of the dried herb prior to bedtime. Start with a low dosage and build up over a couple of weeks. Check the label Chamomile: Chamomile has traditionally been used in herbal medicine as a calmative and/or sleep aid. Take two teaspoons of the dried herb in tea, one to three times daily. Take the herbs together for an increased effect of relaxation.
Skullcap: Skullcap is a traditional nervine, or an herb that has a relaxing effect on the central nervous system. Skullcap is also a complementary herb that works very well with other herbs. Take 1200 mg 45 minutes before bedtime.
Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is a traditional Ayurvedic (Indian) herb used for calming the mind and promoting regular sleep patterns. Some take 1200 mg daily before bedtime. Take with milk for MAY improved absorption.
Watch these three: A lack of nutrients can sometimes cause insomnia. Nutrients often needed are calcium, magnesium and vitamin B6 and vitamin B1 (niacin).
Calcium: Take 500 mg with food before going to bed.
Magnesium: Take 250 mg with food before going to bed. Take the calcium and magnesium together; they are sometimes sold as a single supplement.
Vitamins B6 and B1: Take 50 mg B6 and 500 mg niacin taken together before going to bed.
• Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Go to bed and get up at the same time, regardless of the day of the week or whether you've slept.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine and tobacco.• Have a leisurely bath with several drops of lavender oil before going to bed.
• Put a few drops of lavender oil on your pillow.
• Have a bedtime drink of hot milk and honey.• Do not take commercial sleeping remedies at the same time as herbal remedies.
• Exercise regularly—try forty minutes walking four times a week.
Insomnia can be a temporary but troubling problem; but remember that it can also be a symptom of a medical condition requiring treatment. If insomnia persists for more than a few weeks, be sure to consult your health care provider.
Lastly, check your herbs and or medications for side-effect that maybe interfering with sleep.
With the help of Valerian, Chamomile, Astragulas, Ashwagandha, Mata tea or Skullcap and a relaxing bedtime ritual, sleep should come more easily. When it does, a rested, replenished, restored sense of being can return. Their are herbs that are not organic and will not work as well. Get PLANTS AND SEEDS from a reliable source.
PASSION FLOWER Sleep Disorders:***With over 20 years of experience in the field of sleep medicine, Dr. Robert Rosenberg , discussed the science of sleep, and the various causes of insomnia. He also addressed some of the bizarre disorders people experience while they are sound asleep-- not only sleepwalking but eating, having sex, and even driving. Medications like Ambien can cause amnesia, he said, and in some cases people's "central pattern generators" are activated in the brain stem, so that they're able to perform complex motor functions such as driving a car, "even though on electroencephalograms they're in slow wave sleep."
People who suffer from depression or anxiety often have insomnia, he reported. Other contributing factors to insomnia include overuse of electronic devices (sometimes associated with work) in the bedroom, excessive ruminations and worrying, and lack of regular exercise, he detailed. Sleep serves a variety of important functions including the production of growth hormone, and the brain cleaning itself of toxins. It's been found that taking a power nap (20-30 minutes) can provide a person with 2 hours of alertness, Dr. Rosenberg reported. Melatonin supplements can be effective in helping a person get to sleep, as well as various types of audio (white noise, binaural beats), and aromatherapy (lavender), USE UNDER PILLOW? for depression use Kava Kava
Lobelia(Best Little Herb of North American Indian's and pioneers)
This herb has to be within these pages because it is one of my “basic” herbs that I use often, and is in most of my formulas.
(Lobelia inflata) A genus of more than 200 species. It belongs to the Belliflower family (Campanulacaes) family. It's used in most of good formulas that understand healing; It is called the general of the formula because all herb (all normal organic plants have an intelligence) and Lobelia will tell the other herbs where to go in your particular body!
For medicine always us Wild or Organically grown herbs and check the date. They have missions for men and the scriptures say they were created before in spirit... Lobelia's the General to all herbs.
Common names: Lobelia, puke wee, emetic herb, emetic weed, Indian tobacco. Asthma weed, Gag Root, Vomit Wort, Eye Bright and Wild Tobacco or Bladderpod. The therapeutic actions: Antispasmodic, emetic, stimulant (in small doses), relaxants (in larger doses); nervine (sedative, expectorant, antivenomous, counter-irritant, emmenagogue, diaphoretic, diuretic, cathartic, astringent and a nauseate. It doesn’t contain nicotine or other poisonous properties, but will remove them!
In this book, and if your interested in herbs its basic for all herbalist, “Indian Herbalogy of North America, by Alma R. Hutchens, it says the uses by the Indians from the root of the plant Red Lobelia for and for expelling or destroying intestinal worms. It makes them sick. The Shoshones Indians made a tea of Lobelia and use it as an emetic and physic. They used it as an antidote to poisons.
(A syphilis herbal)
Lobelia is one of the greatest herbs ever been given to the world.
Dr. Thompson (Famous Herbalist) said “there is no vegetable which the earth produces more harmless in its effect on the human system, and none more powerful in removing disease and promoting health than Lobelia.” Lobelia is a “general corrector” of the whole system, as it is easily diffused and able to influence the entire body. Lobelia is an efficient relaxant, and is believed to be the best counter-irritant known to mankind. Its action is felt immediately on the “nervous systems.” As a Emmenagogue and a powerful antispasmodic, Lobelia is effective in causing immediate relaxation and expansion of the contracted parts of the respiratory system (such as bronchial tubes, esophagus, glottis and larynx.) This allows the“breath of life” (oxygenated blood) to flow freely to the de-energized tissues.
Lobelia’s wonderful healing effects are due to the herb’s great ability to remove obstructions and congestion's within the body, especially in the blood vessels. It lessens the depression through the vaso-motor and strengthens the muscular action of the vessel walls that propel the blood, and thus promotes health.
Lobelia has helped the very young to the very old, with only positive results. This happened when the Joseph Smith had revelation to give this to everyone who had malaria when they first came to a swamped area to live.
This particular church does not recognize nor understand what really went on here, passing it over as a non-significant event. Has any prophet ever been given revelation for any other herb for "all" persons then we need to ask, why Lobelia? I hope this will give all some insight and history to this amazing herb. (Remember they did not take the huge amount of chemical drugs as today. Lobelia will remove them and lessen their effects.) Exceptions: If your on "chemicals," drugs...it will take them out of the system and interferer with its dosage. Chemicals is just bits of glorified drugs. Do you need to take out this drug? It will alter it's effects. Poison: This is a ridiculous falsehood. It is a myth that has been promulgated by allopaths to dissuade potential patients from using the God-given herb and from being healed. It is imperative to use only the organic form of this herb for complete healing!
Lobelia accurately and intelligently selects which way is best for mother and baby in its way of healing. When a fetus is dead, or in an extremely weakened condition, Lobelia will cause it to abort. As this herb will know the differences. However, or on the other hand, if the fetus is well and healthy, and the mother is weak, it will cause the mother to heal and strengthen, enabling her to carry the child until the proper time of delivery. It is truly a “thinking herb" and works best like a "General" in any formula giving other herbs their directions.
Joseph Meyer’s book “The Herbalist” started a statement that “Lobelia is too dangerous for internal use by the unskilled” which has no basis in fact. (However, if not understood it may scare the novice.) This selective misrepresentation of this herb is incited by professional jealousy of Dr. Thompson when he could not remove him from his station and this goes way back. (Read this history) Also, Joseph Smith and Herbal Medicine. Their's a PDF book on line by Heimerman worth studying if your going to heal others with this herb. USES OF LOBELIA: Smokers and other uses is; Remember all herbs have to be used as if ordered by a physician till the problem is over, or comes back.
“Abscesses, adynamia (weakness) angina pectoris (heart excitability), asthma, blood poisoning, blood circulation problems, boils, bronchial problems, bruises, catarrh, chicken pox, cold sweats, colds, colic, congestion's, constipation, convulsions, cough, cramps, croup, digestive disturbances (nervous dyspepsia, acute indigestion, etc.,) drowning, dyspnea, felons, female problems, heart weakness, hepatitis, hydrophobia (mad dog bites), hysteria, inflammations, insect stings, and bites, laryngitis, measles, phrenitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, poison ivy, poison oak, rheumatism, sprains, stomach irritation (small doses), tetanus (lock jaw), vomiting (small doses), whooping cough and zymotic diseases.” It also is good in fevers and is suited for phrenitis, meningitis, pneumonia, pleurisy, peritonitis, nephritis, periostitis.
Infusion- the seed is best used when crushed
Powder- Use the leaves, stems, flowers and/or pods.
Tincture- Use the green or dried herb. Dose: 1 oz. of the herb to 1 pint of boiling water makes an ordinary infusion; to be administered in tablespoonful doses every ½ or hour. A weak infusion giving in teaspoonful doses every 10 minutes will relax the muscular system and Administrations: Lobelia rapidly influences all parts of the body. However, due to its highly divisible nature, it should always be used with a more permanent stimulant such as cayenne or peppermint or some other permanent stimulant, to keep alive the blaze that it has kindled.
What scares the user is, in some cases, large doses will relax the whole system completely, so that even the smallest muscles cannot be used.
When I was a young inexperienced herbalist and just learning this happen to my daughter Heather, she went limp like a rag doll when I tried to move her. This scared me to death, but she was completely well from her high fever the next day. She never was sick like that again.
It will remove what should be there in the blood metals and such as getting too much stored nicotine from *tobacco out of the system when taken with lots of water i.e.
This is a condition termed the “alarm.” Dr Greer tells us, “It is uncomfortable although not dangerous, “unless poisons (drugs_chemicals) should be administer which in this condition will be quickly absorbed. (Like with an over-dose of drugs or toxic poisons that is life-death situations) What will be the problem here is the lobelia makes some herbal base drugs work work twice as effective in this case to a fault. It may be “doubling up” of the drug by the lobelia (Lobelia is always “the general to all herbs”, who tell the other herbs, i.e. what to do and where to go) that will do the actual poisoning. That’s why some herbalist is uncomfortable to advise administration of Lobelia by the lay public. It will individual healings...and may react differently on another because of their sickness.
Other Nervine or Antispasmodic herbs: Scullcap, Valerlan, Lady Slipper or Nerve Root, Mistletoe, Wood Betony, Cramp Bark or Viburnum opulus var. americanum, Hops, Black Cohosh Cimicifuga racemosa, and Wild Yam Dioscorea villosa.

Tincture of Lobelia 2 ounces Lobelia herb (stem, flowers and leaves) 2 ounces crushed Lobelia seed (I can't find the seeds anymore so I just leave out) 1 pint Apple cider vinegar (or a good organic vodka alcohol) You only using drops.
*Did Mary and Jesus drink wine at the wedding? Tombs are full of pottery that had dried tinctures of herbs and good organic wine to administer medicine to the healing of the sick.
Preparations: Macerate in a dark bottle for 10-14 days shaking periodically then strain off the liquid and bottle.

I am never with out Lobelia in my medicine cabinet and it has save me many times of poisonings which Lobelia is known to do. This herb is a predestine herb that’s is chosen to blessed to save mankind during health recoveries. There is so much more I could add but you’ve got the idea and some direction for further seeking the many remedies on how to use this herb more so in formulas that are so lacking today of its influences. http://www.swsbm.com/ManualsOther/ManOther.html More about Dr. Thompson, one of the greatest herbals in America.
(Classic folk) This is the recipe I prefer cause it keep longer: one part lobelia to 2 part of Vodka spirits. Or, add the amount of Lobelia you need cover the Lobelia herb plus two inches above it with organic apple cider vinegar and macerate it for 4 weeks and strain and press out liquid. Bottle it in dark no plastic bottles. Cover the bottle with alummin foil if no dark brown bottles are available. The vodka will keep longer. If you will keep this going and use every day, it will remove the daily poison, pesticides, chemicals etc in our foods we get daily. Not only because of the ACV but lobelia is a great poison remover. I use mine every night before going to bed. Its on my night stand. However, Drugs are chemicals. Remember the liquor is minimal doses are started out by 5 drop i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobelia

High Blood Pressure
An Holistic approach will be to treat the whole body. The liver, herbals some would be milk Thistle, Dandelion, Burdock Root or seed, Chaparral (thickening of the blood will overload circulatory system) or Astragalus Root. See also “Liver pages.”
A holistic approach will include watching all the organs such as; Kidney: Drink lots of pure water (boil water), or distilled water if your normal water has heavy metals in it. Get a juicer and use. Add some Lemons or Pomegranates and other fruit juices with foods or a bit diluted. Take herbs that are diuretic in nature to rid the body in some cases of excess water. Use a green powered drink every day.
No stimulates such as drugs, liquors or tobacco that acerbates this problem. Nerves or hypertension herbs are helpful, use nerve’s such as Hops, Hyssops or Black Cohosh, Lobelia magnesium (1 morn and night) B complex and B vitamin etc.
Foods: No Meats, use plant base diet if acute or use very little but, never two meals consecutively especially if mild condition of the heart. Mild food plant based diet or Semi Fast no mucus less diet (no cheeses). Use complex fibrous organic foods, Green leafy Vegetables and fruits, tomato juice, lemon juice (mornings), raw organic goats milk (if possible) and very small amount of cheeses with plant based fiber. Calcium is a problem because most drugs to treat H.B.P. deplete the body of calcium that is needed in most cases) this actually acerbates this problem. Mono oil base margarines or, real butter with no hormones and use mono oils such as olive oil. No “white food or boxed process products. Also use plenty of Apple Cider Vinegar, Tomatoes, V8 juice cabbage family and organic soy etc. Organic Westsoy I use is full of protein 9 grams and 4 fiber. Great for starting the day, or in between meals. Get the unsweetened and add your own style of sugar. Sugars: Natural raw sugars, Stevia or raw honey, Xylitol, only.
Treat the same as “Heart” sees PG.

The heart needs mono fats: Lecithin 3 tsp. daily, or Borage oil, Flaxseed oil and cleans out arteries, Fish oil, Wheat germ, Safflower oils, i.e. (every day) 3,6,9 omegas fatty, flaxseed oil, normal pH level foods that will keep the inflammations down. (3 tsp.daily).
Herbal Aid: Cactus liquid, 10 drops daily
Other Herbs: Capsicum, (1 tsp 3 times a day) Lobelia, Hawthorn Berry, Sassafras, Garlic, Chanca Piedra phyllanthus niruri (This herb will aid in plank build up, and increases bile secretions to lower blood cholesterol levels in rat studies.) Fenugreek is a blood thinner but is not be used with pain relievers. It is not to be taken with drug for thinning the blood. Chanca Piedra is for hypertension. Melatonin is another good herb for HBP. And Royal honey.
Treat for parasites and use products such as Duflucan, fluconazol, or Nystatin, i.e. (from doctor) (Parasites are always involved) Black Walnut Hull, good organic Oregano oil, Olive Leaf extract and i.e., change from one parasitic herb to another every three months. Herbs for liver also see these studies.
A holistic approach will included especially the Colon: Senna or Psyllium and other herbal laxative, Mandrake if very sick will aid colon and liver but it is a laxative but not to be used if pregnant, or going to be. Keep the colon clear everyday. If this is not done it’s like a kinked hose and building up pressure. Fibrous plant based diet is important and/or add to the diet (Gymnema) or such fibrous herbs (foods). So is the bowel flora that is off in this condition.
Add a good yogurt such as Kefir, i.e. 3-10 days. Psyllium will sweep out pockets in colon and grab on to the parasite and toxins. Add 3mg of Senna if you still have constipations, but this is a fast moving herb to deal with and may have to be adjusted to individuals.
(Fiber foods) Be sure to use watermelon and its seeds (organic if possible)
