5 FOOD THAT REVERSES ALZHEIMER'S

This was on the Dr. Oz show. Dr. Neal Barnard cautions against "bad fats," from trans fats (such as those found in doughnuts and other snacks) to saturated fats (such as dairy foods like ice cream and cheese). When you choose your menus, focus on protective foods from these key food groups that prevents and reverses Alzheimer's such as; Fruit, Vegetables, Beans (pod foods), and Whole grains. I've have written other posts that mention specific herbals.
Other similar common spices that prevent brain inflammation, cognitive decline or Alzheimer are garlic, cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil, sage, mint (all in the mint family ► http://www.motherearthliving.com/health-and-wellness/inside-plants-rosemary-compounds-help-the-brain-manage-memory-16-rosemary-compounds-help-the-.aspx), clove.
People in India, who use turmeric often, have much lower incidence of Alzheimer. Coincidence?
Stay away from all sugars by aspartames, it wreck the brain
functions and takes 3 mo. to get the poison out of your system.

Nuts and seeds: High in vitamin E, these treats help reduce your risk. Just one ounce daily dose. All brain issues need good oils, water and oxygen. My tip: Use nuts for snacks by getting nuts such as Almonds 100 Calories Per Bag Brazil nuts are best for seniors about 3 per meal.
Grapes and blueberries contain anthocyanins, which improve recall and learning. My tip: try frozen or dried when they're not in season.
Want something sweet? Bake a sweet potato, high in beta-carotene.
Go green with green leafy veggies for iron and foliate.
Chickpeas and beans contain protein, calcium, vitamin B6 and folate, yet they are free of saturated fat and trans fat.
My tip: Heat Organic Garbanzo Beans and serve over steamed brown rice sprinkled with Organic Seasoning. (chick pea dip- THIS INCLUDES ALL LEGUMES.)

To ensure that you get enough vitamin B12, which is critical for your brain cells, do supplements.
Vegans and vegetarians: Studies show that they live longer and stay free of memory problems.

Drugs are another name for chemicals, inorganic minerals settle in the brain (at noon in the eye of this elderly person.) Also low-oxygen kicks in (white areas;) The white need to be remove which a veggie diet will do and some fasts. Alzheimer's have to stay away from aspertates/fake sugars! Stay away from MSG.

Drugs/Chemicals such as in this list of Benzodiazines will causes Alzheimer's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzodiazepine another study is the inorganic metals such as iron or aluminums.

Your brain needs exercise as well as your body. Walk, and do brain-training exercises that gives those brain cells exercise. Get some rest by getting enough sleep. Tip: Have time for long crossword puzzles etc
Buy vitamins without crude minerals from organic sources. Most fish oils i.e. are as much as 70 per cent other bad oils. Avoid them with these brain disease's.

There is no limit and you can do it with green, yellow i.e. split peas as well or any other bean...also the less salt you use the better. These legumes are very economical, full of 16g fiber and 11g+ protein (yel.) so it makes the perfect diet food. I could find that particular spice so I used the herbal no salt one that I love "Mrs Dash." (I half the recipe)
