How to Make Almond Cheese

Who can afford this delight at the Health Food Stores anymore, and sometimes is not there.

Ingredient's: WATER, ALMONDS, SOAKED IN HOT WATER TO REMOVE THE SKINS, YOGURT, BLEND TO A PASTE IN BLENDER. PLACE IN MOLD SET 8 HRS. This I saw on the OZ show, not the same recipe. It was so easy. I had been buying it from the health food store. The Lady on the OZ show put herbs into it and it also seemed firmer? Turmeric would cause it to be yellow. I bet their are plenty of ideas on Google too. Image result for vegan almond cheese
Roll in nuts? You can use other vegan milks.

(No heat nor cooking is a plus)

I have just soaked almonds for 24 hours and the skins popped off very easily. I prefer this to soaking in boiling water as it destroys some of the enzymes. Great to have a good raw vegan cheese alternative. :)))

BABYFOOD HOMEMADE W/O CHEMICALS

UPDATED: From store markets, jar baby foodS are not as nutritious as home made. Watch out for too much sugar, filler and GMO's foods; if not organic mom can create many food addiction's, and allergies if using sugar and from process foods at an early age. If boughten, baby-foods don't contain enough fiber (fiber means real food content, or too filter) can hurt digestions. Another clue is that it lacks nutrients. If too young for fiber, than add organic cornstarch or, cereals yourself then freeze any left-overs for the next meals. If you read labels and are educated mom= you'd never buy formula. It's full of sugar and antibiotics given to the cows. Goat milk has less problems if you cannot breast feed. If using grains/seeds/nuts such as coconut/almond milk; you'll need to supplements and do some more researcher, but most of all use only organic whole rice i.e. Use a bit of pear juice or other fruits for sugars. If it's hard to fine in season make your own and store.
Careful, when too young adding meats or adding extra proteins (only bal. within a plant itself) for children are too young. This will produce less ADD and ADHD population as it starts here.
Mom's don't take older children off a balanced Omega's (by using fatless diets) from bad advice of commercials from fads that have produced this ADHD epidemic.Updates:

Caution on what chemicals are in baby's food and environments
Formulas contain high levels of sugar/corn-syrups and some are promoted for use from four months of age – a time when babies should still be on a diet of breast or a better formula of no hormone milk's. It's no wonder children are over-weight and this problem is growing.

"Babies would need to eat twice as much store-bought food to get the same energy and protein as a nutritious meals cooked at home," some researchers found. That holds true for all of us eating any GMO foods.

This study, from the department of human
nutrition at the University of Glasgow, said many weaning foods "would not serve the intended purpose" of giving a baby extra nutrients or a range of tastes and textures. continue to read the link provide above. We need more educated Mother's today as ever before because of greedy conspiring men in the last days.

Alpha Lipoic Acid For Diabetics

Diabetics
This is a diabetic aids I personally use and find helpful in decreasing my intake of insulin. I cannot take diabetic pills at all. This is a new regimen is added to my daily herbals. When you isolate any supplement you can run into trouble. At the bottom of the pages are possibly some of those side effect of this particular supplement. (Leg cramps came in larger doses and I had to decrease at times and stop ALA, then re started again.) Remember natures golden rule is to only introduce to the body one herb, supplement, medication etc. at a time so to zero in on any possible side effects.

The photo is an Alzheimer's eye. the white fog means there is no oxygen getting to the brain and caused by too many drugs that can't get out, now its causing anemia or brain fog.

Alpha Lipoic Acid or ALA (Lipoic Acid is derived from coconut) recognized as a co enzyme that can break down sugar for energy production.
Dr. Berkson used it successfully in treating chronic liver disease (viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, etc).
It's obvious that ALA kill fungus, (yeast), and you may experience a bacterium or "yeast kill off", as it cleanses pockets from the colon. I had this experience and had to stop and reduce dosage and take care of the bacteria and yeast too. Don't panic if this happens, just be aware of odd experiences from the rectum etc. and don't make your "cure" worse than the problem.
Food Sources: Such as peas, Brussels sprouts, rice bran, carrots, red meat, spinach, broccoli, beets, yams, kohlrabi, and potatoes i.e.

It prevents symptoms of vitamin C, E deficiencies. Its been shown to increase cellular uptake of glucose in use of diabetes. It is useful in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease (brain area). The body does make APA, but we may be deficient. It neutralizes free radicals to any cell damages and helpful with “burning mouth syndrome.
Great as a chelating agent in treatments of heavy metals such as mercury intoxication's. It can penetrate the blood-brain barrier and cell membrane. (It can remove mercury from the brain area and central nervous system the electrical system of the body (nerves.)
Uses:
Cataracts, heart failure, diabetes, glaucoma, viral hepatitis, multiple sclerosis, hearing damage, HIV and AIDS stroke. ALA helps the body eliminate potentially harmful substances.
http://www.diagnose-me.com/treat/T76343.html
Diabetes: ALA helps to reduce pain, burning, itching, tingling and numbness in persons who have nerve damage (neuropathy). Studies have shown alpha-lipoic acid speeds the removal of glucose (sugar) from the blood of people with diabetes and may prevent kidney damage associated with diabetes in animal. Careful to monitor glucose sugar that may gradually come down.
Poisoning: Amanita is use for the highly poisonous mushroom that causes liver damage.

Medications: You should not use ALP if using Amikacin, Gentamicin, Cisplatin, and
Cyclophosphamide or thyroid-regulating meds. levothyroxine are possible interactions.

(This study showed: Reverse aging processes in Rats)

Doses vary: From 300 mg to 600 mg once a day for diabetics other 150 mg – 300 mg if any cramping problems cut dosage back (Take on empty stomach is suggested for full effect) The first time I started taking ALA it didn't seem to work, and I laid it aside. A little bit of knowledge just won't do with this supplement and others for diabetics. Then I increased my dosage and used it every day, either a lg. dose one a day or in smaller dosage 3 times a day, and then my blood sugars came down if taken continually like diabetic pills. You do have to find your own way of dosing if using this supplement.

SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, ting lings, pins and needles sensations, skin rash, muscle cramps, (If any side effects do cut back on dosages), insulin autoimmune, hypoglycemia and may effect thyroid hormone levels.
**************************************
Note: Caprylic Acid is not the same as ALA. Caprylic Acid. CA not made by the body and is a fatty acid found in coconuts and even in breast milk and known as an anti-fungal used to treat Candida's or yeast, and some bacterial infections (Staphylococcus aureus and/or species of Streptococcus). Is an anti fungal as all other coconut products.
This can work on the hypothalamus and other such fatty acids, that some studies indicating in the brain it is affects weight control. Coconut oil is also know to control blood sugars, in turn, weight.

Ron Paul's Bill Ends Ban on Raw Milk

1) Scientists Agree That Organic Farming Delivers Healthier Soil and More Nutritious Food:Scientists gathered last week for the annual American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting, analyzed research from the last decade, and determined, once again, that the path to healthy soil and healthy food is organic farming.

2) How to Survive the Coming Century: Living or Dying in a World Warmed Just Four Degrees

3) Support Ron Paul's Bill to End the Ban on Raw Milk:The consumption of raw milk is legal in every U.S. state, but its sale is currently illegal in about half of them. U.S. Congressman Ron Paul has introduced HR 778, a bill "to authorize the interstate traffic of unpasteurized milk and milk products that are packaged for direct human consumption." (It's amazing to me how a government can tell my family or me no nor let me consume milk of my choice.)
4) Nation's Food System Nearly Broke:"Any time a country neglects its family farm base and allows it to become financially bankrupt, the entire economy of that country will soon collapse. It may take generations to rebuild the farm economy and that of the country..."
5) Washington State Turnaround on Organic Milk Policy Has Far-Reaching Implications:"Washington State announced plans last week to deny mothers the choice to purchase organic milk for their infants and young children with federal WIC Nutrition Program funds. This policy confuses consumers and will set a precedent for other state agencies..."Let OCA sift through the media smog and bring you the top new and analysis of the day. Need An Egg Substitute?

Need An Egg Substitute? A popular egg substitute is Ener-G Ener-G Egg Replacer, which is made from potato starch, tapioca flour, leavening agents (calcium lactate, calcium carbonate, and citric acid) and a gum derived from cottonseed. It's primarily intended to replace the leavening/binding characteristics of eggs in baking, but it can be used for no baked foods and quiches.
How to Have Chickens with Paddock System Free RangingSome Alternative replacements (quantity per egg substituted for)

· Ingredients: 2 oz of soft tofu can be blended with some water and substituted for an egg to add consistency.
· Or try the same quantity of: mashed beans, mashed potatoes, and oatmeal or nut butters.
· 1/2 mashed banana
· 1/4 cup applesauce or pureed fruit (fruits must be used sooner and not stored)
· One tablespoon flaxseeds (found in natural food stores) with 3-tablespoon water can be blended for 2 to 3 minutes, or boiled for 10 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved to substitute for one egg. Flaxseed flour is an oil replacement also so the combination is great.
· 1-teaspoon soy flour plus 1-tablespoon water to substitute for one egg.
· Substitute for Eggs in Baking: Soy Flour can replace eggs in baked goods and casseroles. One heaping tablespoon of soy flour to one-tablespoon water to replace each egg. (Arrowhead Mills Brand?) (Even, corn starch)
· Potato starch, soy flour and wheat gluten wit algin (Algae) mix is an egg substitute. If you sensitive to fish product and wheat leave out the Algae and wheat gluten.
Egg Substitute: (for baking) before starting recipe for cookies, cakes, etc, combine 1 tsp. unflavored gelatin with 3 tbsp. cold water and 2 tbsp. -Plus 1 tsp boiling water. This mixture will substitute for 1 egg in a recipe.
Mayonnaise, even egg less, will work, but it will leave cookies moist for a while. Use during the Great Depression in baking.

MAKING OLD FASHION FARM BUTTER
Take milk fresh from cow, set over gentle fire until scalded but not boiled. Set out in cold away from cats and dogs. When chilled, skim off cream, put in earthen basin, beat with wooden spoon until butter hardens, along with you arm. Remove butter, work it with a little cold water to free it from remaining milk; drain water, work with tablespoonful fine salt to a pound, putting a small teaspoonful of sugar into the salt. Roll butter in a piece of muslin and chill.
This was in my children's grandmothers recipe box! Wow! Enjoy you fresh butter tonight and count your blessings. Organic butter is good for you! (Omega 9) Remember all the chemicals (drugs) are stored in the "fat".

How To Detect Oranically Grown Eggs

Is Your Eggs Organic?
Organic Eggs? The healthier edible egg, maybe incredible, depends on how it is raised. This report is on the egg industry as it lies today to its consumers. I have raised and lived off organically chickens and their eggs most my life. I do not not think most of the younger generation have had chickens roaming about their farms nor have had the tasted of a good fresh egg. Where the chickens roam, eat bugs, wild herbs, grasses, and gravel to grind their food down. The ones you buy from the store are pathetic in flavor, colorless and pass on illnesses.
http://www.msnbc.com/news/378955.asp?cp1

The New Rules on Organic or Natural i.e. I just bought and paid quite a bit more for no hormones, no antibiotic, and vegetarian fed, all natural (What does it mean "natural" today?). Supposedly, 10 times more vitamin E, Omega 3 because of added flaxseed in their food, and with 25% less fat (good fats?). However, I have been around eggs and chickens raised an organic farm and know an easy test of their eggs. (Buy the Oakdell Farm Eggs? or such brands and a regular brand. Watch and compare egg then choose the one that are more yellow and a stronger in flavor then, stick to that brand tested out.) These eggs are expensive. The brand I bought was pale in color and flavor but the packaging looked more expensive and they were brown eggs, but actually far more inferior than organic eggs. Why pay for these eggs that are suppose to be healthier when they MAY not be?
To educate yourself more by buying, once at least, from a farmer in you local area and test the eggs you buy by the comparison and you will see how these companies are just "Health Food piranhas".
Shop at a market where the eggs are rotated regularly. Some Health Food Stores pay a lot of money for these organic eggs and will not throw them out when they should. I have bought some on sale and found them bad full of salmonella. Do they float, stink, or the white too runny? Throw them away and never buy from this cheap store again. If they have been setting out too long…do not take a chance.
This is where we get most our parasite in our bodies. Never eat, in any form, a raw egg (runny) in raw dough, food such as eggnog i.e. Eggs are not as healthy as they use to be and eat right away because they've become polluted with hormones, antibiotics and caged or stressed. A chicken has "gizzards" because they need roughage like gravel or rocks and greens to digest their meals properly producing good meat (egg) in turn, to us, as we get healthier. When you eat a real good fresh egg you will be more satisfied with only one...they are so filling!

Be sure to compare on the Internet before you buy any supplements. Compare to my Arginine supplement of 106.25 to the egg of 375!
Tid Bits: Or you may prefer a plant to a animal source. To tell if an egg is raw or hard-cooked, spin it! If the egg spins easily, it is hard-cooked but if it wobbles, it is raw.
If an egg is accidentally dropped on the floor, sprinkle it heavily with salt for easy clean up. Egg yolks are one of the few foods that naturally contain Vitamin D.
Yolk color depends on the diet of the hen. It should be a natural yellow-orange not pale yellow substances...or easily broken. Color of eggshell and yolk color may vary, but color has everything to do with egg quality, flavor, and nutritive value. If she gets plenty of yellow-orange plant pigments known as xanthophylls, they will be deposited in the yolk making the yolk richer toward the orange color.
Grower may clam no hormone in all their produce egg... however, chick are given shot that are a by-product of the chemical with hormones and pesticides. Some growers may not consider this important issue.
Albumen is more opalescent than truly white. The cloudy appearance comes from carbon dioxide. As the egg ages, carbon dioxide escapes, so the albumen of older eggs is more transparent than that of fresher eggs.
Carton Dates; Keep them in the carton for best storage...they will take on bacteria smells in the refrigerator. Buy in stores that have enough customers to keep them rotated regularly. Today the dates on eggs are about two weeks off on their expirations.
"Egg cartons from USDA-inspected plants must display a Julian date--the date the eggs were packed. Although not required, they may also carry an expiration date beyond which the eggs should not be sold. In USDA-inspected plants, this date cannot exceed 30 days after the pack date. It may be less through choice of the packer or quantity purchaser such as your local supermarket chain. Plants not under USDA inspection are governed by laws of their states."

Poultry
Chicken carry the strain of bacteria, Salmonella enteritidis, which is now the single most common cause of salmonella food poisoning in the United Kingdom. The carrier chickens have no apparent symptoms but a human who has consumed infected eggs or infected chicken meat will suffer stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, and fever. The recent increase in S. enteritidis infections is thought to be a direct consequence of modern farming methods, in which hundreds of thousands of chickens are bred in close proximity, enabling the bacteria to infect large numbers of birds. The problems are compounded when chickens from a single farm are distributed throughout the country, rapidly dispersing the infection to millions of people. Most parasites are passed on through meat and eggs not cook thoroughly, and now have a new host to live in and hatch out their eggs. Is it no wonder “bird flue” comes in to the picture?
Poultry meat can contain Campylobacter as well as Salmonella bacteria, and Campylobacter is now the most common bacterial cause of gastro-enteritis in England and Wales. Eating undercooked chicken, or food that has been in contact with raw chicken, can cause this disease. As with Salmonella, the symptoms of infection include stomach cramps, diarrhea and fever.
Note that all meat has their own fungi or parasites. These symptoms can last up to a week. ...And thus onto an new chicken disease through chickens and their eggs.
My suggestion is to make sure they are thoroughly cooked, and, most especially get them from the local farmers in your area, as it may be the "freshest" sources.

Frittata, Spanish Omelet

Frittata, Spanish Vegetable Omelet
“Frittata” is a Spanish omelet. This one has fresh organic eggs, your choice of chopped vegetables, fresh herbs, and some graded organic cheese. It's simple basics for a healthy breakfast, brunch or even dinner. By adding more/less eggs and vegetable you can get more servings in this recipe. You can add cream sauce, cream of “whatever” soup, depending on your tastes or sour cream, and avocado, and use topping of salsa i.e. Research is showing eggs are now proven good for health and weight. Be sure to add a organic whole wheat fibrous bread or brown rice to your meal.

"Eyeball" your ingredient to your pan to make it your own. I keep frozen vegetables in plastic bags even some chopped herbs ready to put into any recipes. I just take a tablespoons or handful out as needed. For instance, I may bring home green onions or take Swiss chard from my garden or on buy vegetable on sale that week. After cleaning them, washing, cutting up and putting them in containers or zip lock bags. They’re now ready to use throughout the month in recipes and saving lots of money and time. It's an easy way to make more cooking time at home easier and especially if your single, or busy person working outside the home.
Frittata
4 eggs
Fresh basil
Shallots *(1)
Diced red peppers or pepper flakes*(2)
Vegetables, (Swiss chard, chopped zucchini, mushrooms i.e., whatever you
have chopped)
Shredded Cheese (your choice) Fresh Parmesan, Mozzarella, M. jack, Cheddar, etc.
2 TB. Olive oil, grape or Safflower oil
2 TB. Liquid, Cream, milk or water
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350-400; lightly grease a 9X13 pan (for more eggs) or smaller pan if using only 4 eggs and an iron skillet is handy. Heat olive oil, add the sauté onion, red peppers add zucchini till opaque and season to taste.
Beat eggs, 2 Tbs. liquids and some of the cheese until smooth. Add in vegetables and herbs pour into a well-greased pan. Sprinkle cheese on top then into the oven.

Top of Stove
You can do this on the top of the stove on med. low heat with the lid on. (If in a hurry don't sauté the vegetables first)
* "Eye ball" the amount of vegetable that you have on hand in the recipe.
Mushrooms, red sweet peppers, any greens can be substituted.
*(1) Green Onion or 1/2 diced red onion, even garlic etc.
*(2) Any kind peppers you have will do.
Topping
1/2 to 1-diced avocado,
Small diced fresh tomato
Topped with sour cream
*Salsa can be use instead of the fresh-diced tomato.
*Use the organic eggs and dairy for better health with weight control too. It the hormones that are accumulative in the body and it all add up. The hormones given to cow and chicken are there to increase milk production, and to make the chickens bigger or fat. All these benefits are passed on to your body too.

Make Soy Whipped Topping or Salad Dressing

Image result for greek mayo recipe

How To Make Soybean Concentrate to Soy Whipped Topping; Salad Dressing

No fluff folks, just basic's soymilk made in your kitchen. It's a recipe I don't want lost. Yes, there are machines that can no do this soybean milk but what if...? Healthy living life style may for some; mean doing it at home where having control with handling healthy foods is an art. It may be an emergency recipe for some and for others, to have on hand when needed. This is the point for making soymilk; concentrated soymilk or soybean concentrate is the same...only proportions of water are different.

Soybean Concentrate (How to make soymilk) This is from scratch
1 lb. organically grown soybeans
2 kettles boiling water for preheating
7 cups water for soaking
4 1/2 - 5 quarts boiling water for blending. (Use good water)
Sort and measure 2 1/4 cups (1 lb.) unbroken soybeans. Wash and soak in 7
cups of water from 4 - 16 hours. Have ready large kettles of boiling
water.
Drain beans. Sort out beans that have been broken while soaking. Fill top
of blender with hottest water from tap and let stand. Measure 1 1/2 cup
sorted, soaked beans into flat bowl or pan. Set bowl of beans in sink.
Let hottest water from tap fill bowl and continue to run slowly over
beans.
Empty top of blender and fill with boiling water. Drain beans in colander
or strainer. Pour water from blender over beans in strainer. Put hot
beans into hot blender. Cover with 2 cups boiling water. Put lid on
securely place with thick hot pads, or folded towels on top. Cover while
starting blender. Steam may cause water to spurt out. Caution: Do not let
children around while working with boiling water. Blend 2 or 3 minutes at
high speed.
To this point the process for making soymilk, concentrated soymilk or
soybean concentrate is the same...only the proportions of water are
different.
For soybean concentrate, empty the slurry (blended soybeans) into a pan.
If raw concentrate is desired, cool. Refrigerate. If cooked concentrate
is to be used, cook in the top of double boiler over hot water. Then cool
and chill.
To fortify with calcium, add 1/2 tsp. calcium lactate per cup of milk,
concentrate, or cream.

Soy Whipped Topping
1 cup chilled, cooked soy concentrate
Speck of salt
2 Tbs to 1/4 cup chilled oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbs. brown sugar, honey, molasses or 2 T. dates
Few drops lactic acid
Measure soymilk and put in blender. Add seasonings. Blend until light
and foamy. Add oil gradually while blending. Add lactic acid, anew
drops...only enough to thicken. Lemon juice may be used but only enough
to thicken.

Soymilk Salad Dressing
1/2-cup mono oil
1/2-cup soymilk
1/4 c lemon juice
2 Tbs sugar (if use honey 1/2 as much)
1 small onion
1/4 tsp. salt

A Food Kills E Coli

CNN, reported a female teen Serena Fasano a junior at Gleaning High School, discovered a good bacteria in yogurt that secretes a protein that kills E. coil 042 the leading cause of diarrhea. This discovery could save millions of lives. She earns a patent on her discovery that will be named after her. (Monday, Mar. 27th 2006 CNN)
Note, only a very few strains of e coli are actually killers.
People have been using for years yogurt after extensive use of antibiotics to re establish beneficial flora (bacteria) in the intestines. (Not at the same time) Also, used for bacteria infections in the stomach because of the protein peptides. It has been used when suffering from diarrhea and urinary track infections.
E coli is in everybody’s intestines but when it shows up in food and water or on plants picked in the field for the grocery store, it will mean fecal contamination's.
India has used warm yogurt and Turmeric for E. coli infections for 1000 of years.
Serena did more than discover that yogurt kills E. coli she apparently isolated its responsible protein.
Did the University of Maryland School of Medicine take out the patent? I dought if Serena will get any of its profits. Her father works as the director of Mucosal Biology Research Center, making it possible to accomplish her discovery.
It is an important discovery because this strain releases toxin lipopoly saccharides in the body that causes mass inflammations and cell death.
Will she or the university get the Nobel Prize? We need more professional to work in natural food products proving the “Let Your Foods Be Medicine” not chemical drugs that strip plants just as white vs. whole-wheat flour. Would drug companies, or the government pay for this study? NO, never the less, out of the mouth of our babes! I hope this is a sign of her generation’s work in the future. Congratulations Serena! I want to see good rewards to you for your future happening.
*It will take 15 billion of live bacillus's each (of 1o different strains) in one serving to act as a antibiotic. Remember never with antibiotic medication which is in itself parasites. (germ warfare) Lee Swanson has one called Ultimate Probiotic Formula, not timed. PBS Channel: Brenda Watson has one for children on her web site too.
