Neil L. Andersen, Dreams-King Nebuchadnezzar

In Daniel is the part on dreams. It's chapters have more good biblical stories; the fiery furnace, i.e. and the another story emphasis Daniel's views clearly on "meat eating"
(Re: with Vs: 15 - are the blessing clearly spelled out when practiced and who were the blessed the children.) To have health this page is essential toward eating more "mild foods." MILD Foods (plant based diet) not meat and strong drinks..
Reference quote; "And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the kings' meat." (Fatter meant healthier then...) Does everyone miss this point of the scriptures (history) hoping it will go away?
The "protein diet theories" with its main idea of eating more meat for its protein has never been proven correct nor will it ever be. I like to use this scripture in "History" to show this old theories been around before.
Notice the result of the non-eating of meat here in the story. The story continues, as King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who was doing his own tests (or research) for his statistical for specifically reasons may not have be clear to many in our day.

A truly good school was difficult to come by then. The King took care of his children's schooling and other gifted ones, giving them all of their daily needs regarding shelter and food. The most intelligent and fairest of children were brought to Nebuchadnezzar’s palace for his special schooling held in his palace with at the end a special graduation, testing them after their three year of training using the best of his teachers. All the children had to meet certain criteria of looks, character, intelligence and those who were capable of the doing skilled math, sciences and another languages, etc.
Apparently, among the brightest children were four of the children of Judah (One of the 12 tribes), Daniel, Hanania, Mishael and Azariah-(Abed-negr.) (The same four who was thrown next, into the fiery furnace because of the refusal to worship an image from this same King.)

*Daniel proved to have some problems with the meals served to him and his brothers.
The scripture said he didn't want to “defile” himself with any portion of meat and liquor ordered to eat and drink by the King.

*2 And...Portions of liquor? No meat or liquor is what Daniel is speaking of in this story. It just meant they were given too much each day of meat and liquor by instruction from the king to his servants attending the children.

One of the prince Melzar, designated care giver for this school children, was worried that if Daniel and his brothers didn't eat what was ordered by the king for the children, and all might get sick. The King would notice it on the children's pale countenances and then take Melzar's head off. (Killed) Melzar's instructions would it foul up the Kings tests at graduation it Daniel and his brethren did different than the rest?

Now Daniel, obviously a leader, and being very bright child, replied, “Let “us” have ten days to just eat my grains, seeds (pulse) this includes legumes as they're just dried seeds. (But no meat and just water to drink, instead of the wine.) “Then check us out and compare us with the other children who are eating the meat and drinking the wine.”

*3 Well, the Lord made Daniel favorable with this prince so; Melzar consented for at least the ten days. At the end of the lot days, the four faired that was fed their diet of grains and seeds (Pulse) (legumes) did better than the other children who ate the meat and wine portions.

*The story goes on to say how God blessed all these children because of their obedience to temporal and spiritual law. And, he gave these four “more knowledge, skills in every subject, and even wisdom than the others.

Daniel was given the extra individual gifts of, one, understanding visions and dreams. (An obvious priesthood calling)
(*4 He didn't have to partake of the wine to either. )
When the school ended and all the children enrolled appeared to accountability before the King to be tested. Daniel (Belteshazzar, Hanania of Shadrach, Mishael of Meshach, and Azariah of Abed-nego, were at the top of their class. Ten times better than the rest of the children who ate the king’s meals, in every skill, knowledge’s and abilities. They were so intelligent, even brighter than the Kings own Magicians and Astrologers in his court that counseled him. He was so very impressed, but then forgets later of this episode, and with the interpretations of the dreams Daniel will do for him…so then onward to the fiery furnace!
*5 Not all the Jew’s at this time were meat eaters... more than likely, the Levi tribe that was maintained by all other tribes because of their priesthood callings over the sacrament (sacrifices.) Remember, these sacrifices also included fruit and breads too. A lot and mostly from the poor, depending on the sin involved. How many actually had a herd of sheep or even money buying meat sacrifice to slaughter is not totally known.
(John the Baptist, and the Essenes were not meat eaters either

HEAT DESTROYS OMEGAS IN TUNA

Did you know cooking and canning fish, fruits and vegetables destroys 70-100% of the very valuable omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins, enzymes we are trying to get from those foods? There are very few nutrients that are heat resistant but 99% of them are not.

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2011/jul/07/tuna-species-risk-extinction
An the mystery's will be unfolded to you: If you live within Natures laws , she will take protect and care for you.
In the scriptures, God separate's his laws and natures laws when he said;
..."the elements would not obey him if he was disobedient...";
neither should we break her laws. Protect nature for God nor Nature is a
respect or of any person. Who sinneth the Father or Mother? is for our carnal body, or
...what does it matter if I say, "thou sins be forgiven or arise and walk..." many
do not get the messages. Protect the environment (and her laws!)

Effect of different types of heat processing on chemical changes in tuna.

Abstract

The chemical changes in skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) subjected to cooking, frying, canning and microwave heating were studied. Raw tuna contained an unusual fatty acid C16:3 in high proportion (29.3%) followed by C18:2, C24:1, C16:0 and C18:3. Health beneficial fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) (1.67%) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) (2.50%), were quite low with ω-3/ω-6 ratio 0.28. The total saturated fatty acids suffered major loss in fried (70%) and canned tuna (40%) due to loss of C16:0, C14:0 and C22:0. The monounsaturated fatty acids content increased (38%) in cooked and microwave heated tuna due to C24:1. The polyunsaturated fatty acids content increased in fried (50%) and canned (25%) tuna due to the uptake of frying and filling oil, respectively during processing. The loss of health beneficial ω-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA were minimum in cooked tuna followed by microwave heated tuna. Canning totally destroyed these fatty acids. In fried tuna, the losses of EPA and DHA were 70 and 85%, respectively. Thiobarbituric acid - reactive substances values increased in heat processed tuna. Cholesterol increased in canned and microwave heated tuna but not in cooked tuna. Reduction of cholesterol in fried tuna was due to its migration into frying oil. This study indicated that cooking and microwave heating are the better processing methods to retain the health beneficial ω-3 fatty acids in comparison to frying and canning.

TOUGHER TIMES: THANKSGIVINGS

RE: TURKEY, "TOUGH TIMES" TRY CHCKEN! (from my Tougher Times blog)
A comment coming from Rivera, made me think:
"(Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day) (in North America) an annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November. A similar holiday is held in Canada, usually on the second Monday in October. Hmmm. There is no mention about the Native Americans here at all. LOL I am sure they could had say, "Thank you Native Americans for helping us learn how to grown food when we were dying the time we arrived to your land" JACINTO RIVERA
Actually they ate wild game...the turkey came much later.
Anyways I like what this G+ friend of mine said about Thanksgiving. People/readers forget I do blogs to help the poor and needy get through TOUGH TIMES. (That's the name of my blog, remember?)
My Mother, bless her heart, had a rough struggle though this earth life. She was mentally handicap (mentally challenged, haptic whatever,) to about a 9-12 year old level. She did develop before her death to about 16 yr old. Mom was perfect in her religion and her mom too never said a unkind about anything. They never stole; lied, whined, cried or bemoaned anything or any body. I never appreciated these characters until I left home and found everyone else had one or two.
My step-father could not read nor write. But, could fix anything; plumbing, electric work, build house, fix cars and appliances and, move houses. When times got tough we all pitched in went in the fields of Arizona and picked cotton or, in summers, into Oregon fields, orchards and picked fruit or vegetables. All he had was what he had in his pockets, he never gripped or deserted us four kids. During these times we lived in parks and out of the trunk of our car that had all of our passion's.
Holliday was sometimes sparse. When one can't read nor write is limits level of intelligence just as it did in mom.
One year I remember some organization giving Mom her first turkey. She thought it was a big chicken but found out differently when it would never get done. That meat was bloody tough. We couldn't figure out why people like it.
We never had one again. We're now all grown and some have and some are in "Tough Times," and two are single and alone on the holidays. I don't want turkey. Chicken sounds OK. Wish my family would just bring me a holiday plate. (No one to cook for) The holidays can be mean, but I remember my parents ways, no wimping, whining. Buy, if you can something special for yourself. If you don't treat yourself nice no one else will. Happy Holliday's my friend. Tough Times may require a small hen this year. It will all be over soon.

TURKEY BURGER IS STILL FULL OF CONTAMINATIONS

"As we've publicly stated over the past year and a half, no stone was left unturned in our efforts to determine the originating source of salmonella.  Heidelberg who is associated with the ground-turkey recalls, yet to this day, we do not know the origin of the bacteria linked to outbreak of illnesses," said Mike Robach, vice president of corporate food safety and regulatory affairs for Cargill in Minneapolis. He provided a long list of steps that Cargill has taken since the outbreak to make its ground turkey safer. IS YOUR MEAT TAINTED?

Pork (Bacon) is know to cause cancer: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/10/23/who_bacon_shocker/
Image result for killing of animals by humans
Their fear can be passed onto you! http://www.scn.org/~bk269/fear.html
l Amazing and we use it in vaccines. Eat it in flu seasons i.e.
This is just the suffering that was caught on video. The whistle blower also saw SQM workers beat downed mother pigs on the face and head with chains, drag them to the kill floor—a deafeningly loud area filled with the stench of death—and electro–shock and jab injured sows for up to 30 minutes. https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=4957&autologin=true (read)

MY TWO CENT WORTH ON THE SUBJECT OF TAINTED MEAT as this story up-set myslf. I wondered who ended up eating this torchered pig flesh and blood in it.

I was trying to raising five children with an Ex who could never keep any job on about an acre of land. For economic reasons, too, we raised goats. The milk was excellent for the children with a small amount of land. It very troublesome to tether them, and get your children up to milk them, but I had two small one's who need milk and (Ex) wasn't going to bring home any milk that was on a reliable bases.

One day after having my last C-section two of my neighbor (sisters,) "The Christensen's ," decided to come over and pick me up for an needed outing, since I had no car and needed to go anyplace to refresh my soul.

I got my best baby-sitter John Christensen and was all set to drive out of the drive way. My X couldn't even provide clothing I was wearing an seven year old dress I made myself.
After once being a model and Ms runner-up etc. it bothered me. (My controlling Ex could never find enough money to buy me anything or keep up my style he liked before marriage.)
Supposedly, he had three million dollars in property but his family never saw penny of it, It bought friends (politics') with its use.

Sorry, I just realized I'm detouring off my cause in different directions. However, I wanted my reader's to know how desperate I was for food when I did this...awful thing.

I got into their car but then, I had such a strong feeling "don't go!" I told about this feeling to my two girl-friends and they said to pay attention to it.
So, they waited for me to go inside to check out everything. John was one of my kids child too, and his Mom also wanted to know if he was OK too.
I look everywhere you'd think their might be a problem; all was well with all the children, no fire or no one hurt, I reported back to them still sitting in the car.
The Mother of John said, "Well maybe something would have happen," so we all decided I should stay home.
Later:

Everyone went home; I turn to the left where our car was parked and happen to look where I had staked out a new born all white goat tethered to the fence with rope which had choke him. It was recent because he was limped or just died.

Never till this incident did I realized that we are entitled to have revelation or inspiration for any animal's. It was because this goat was taken care of by me so I could feel he had been crying out to me. I walked right pass him and was pre-occupied with the thoughts of the children. I forgot to check on my animal's.

This is the day the Lord, in this trial, that taught me a most valuable lesson (Always, the teacher teaches when we're ready) about how he loves the animals and to show us we need to care for them.

This story is not over: "Waste not Want not," is embedded in me as a child of a poor farmer.
If my Ex would have given me some portion of the millions in our divorce, which he did not; I would still be poor because I think and act out poor even today. Once poor; your never are really are rich nor get over the mentality of it.

Going back to the goat story; What would a woman like me do with a dead goat and five children to fed? Eat him.

So I knew another goat raiser in this neighborhood and sought her out to help prepare him for meat for our table. We did it all on the same day however with hindsight, I realize that he was not hung properly to bleed out. (All meat has blood in it ...and is the carrier of adrenal fears i.e. which creates fear caught from the animals, or drugs i.e. I was taught this long ago. It came back to roost this day.)

This goat's blood was full of fear this goat experienced before he died. I know because when I ate the chops I was full of uncontainable fear and I couldn't stop crying just as the had experienced. He must of read me seeking the problem and was passing him by.

THE SECOND experience; I again, reappearing: when I ate the meat started crying becoming upset with emotions.
I call one of the two lady's telling them that I didn't know what was wrong with me but, after I eat the goat meat I'm really upset with out of controlled emotions. She agreed with me, The goat meat was tainted

I threw out the meat but never forgot how I felt on a emotional roller-coaster. Animals' do have feeling and experience pain and, emotions.
I was raise on a farm but my family wasn't in tune with an animals side of the story. I'm truly sorry. I don't care for meat at all.

I know this is not the pig story you may have expected, because I don't eat pork. I really don't eat goat, lamb, but in times of famine...yep !
I related to another problem other's  can't cover in torching an animal whose in pain...then eat the tainted meat from slaughter houses sold to our markets. It will be a curse to those who eat of it, not a blessing.

READ THEIR STORY ABOUT THE SLAUGHTER HOUSES THAT ARE RUINING AND MAKING TAINTED MEAT YOU ARE FEEDING YOUR CHILDREN FOR BREAKFAST.

BACON, HOT DOGS LINKS TO DIABETIES

Their is a link between sugar consumption and Type 2 diabetes, and more research ties another dietary pattern to increased risk of the disease, too: eating too much red meat which has too much animal fat, antibotic (and it's chemicals, known too as heavy metals.) Recent studies linking this carnivorous habits to more health problems that seem to be piling up with health issues. Read more: Salami Suicidee had and Death By Bacon. Now, there's a study that links red meat consumption to an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes.

The researchers tracked what happens after people changed their meat-eating habits, using data from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study and the Nurses' Health Study, which include about 100,000 people. Diet was assessed by food frequency questionnaires.

"Some people [in the study] increased their red meat consumption and other people decreased their consumption," says Dr. Frank Hu of the Harvard School of Public Health, one of the co-authors of the paper, which appears in JAMA Internal Medicine.

The study found that among those who started eating more red meat, about 3.5 servings more per week, the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes during four years of follow-up increased by almost 50 percent, which Hu describes as "a really large increase."

As with previous studies linking red meat to health concerns, the researchers found that processed red meats such as hot dogs and bacon were more strongly associated with the risk of diabetes.

Among those who starting eating less red meat, the risk of developing diabetes dropped by about 14 percent during a 10-year follow-up period.

Now, to put this study in context, it's important to point out that the most significant driver of Type 2 diabetes is body weight. People who are overweight and obese are much more likely to develop the condition. It's harder to keep diabetes under controlled (insilin resistant) with too big of carnivorous habits.

Since red meat is typically high in calories and ANIMAL fat, some experts say that it's likely these factors that create the link between heavy red meat consumption and and increased risk of diabetes. Also, the found drugs in meat are in question.

IRON OVER-LOAD (heavy metals, chemicals)

It's not clear what's happening in the body, but there are a few theories. It's possible that heavy red meat consumption can lead to iron overload, which sets the stage for insulin resistance.

Some hot dogs have human DNA (make my mind wonder)

It's also possible that compounds called nitrosamines play a role.

"Our understanding is that, especially [when they occur in] processed meats, these nitrosamines can cause inflammation," explains Dr. David Nathan, who directs the diabetes center at Massachusetts General Hospital.

And there's also some evidence that nitrosamines can damage the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. But experts say more research is needed to understand these connections.

PAIN? Substute for Ibruprofen

Body Chemistry/ Health:

Research scientist focusing on cellular nutrition, Dr. Robert O. Young discussed what he believes to be the true causes of disease. This led him to develop a new form of biology to help people balance their body chemistry using mostly dietary changes and eliminating inflammation. The human body is alkaline by design, and when it's in this state, we have energy, vitality, and fitness; however, when it's acidic, people can experience fatigue, irritations, sensitivities, allergies, and inflammation, he stated. "In fact, I've said you cannot have acid without pain... I've referred to that as Stage 4 Acidosis," he commented. Ideally, a person should be between 7.3 – 7.4 on the scale of the pH test strips, and "by managing the pH of the internal fluids of the body, they will live longer and healthier," he added.

Young outlined dietary practices that can increase the alkaline level of the body, suggesting that we eat food, not because of its caloric value, but for its electric potential and life force energy. For him, this means a lot of green and raw foods and drinks (which are high in chlorophyll) like parsley, cucumber, spinach, broccoli, hemp, and avocados. Drinking water treated to be more alkaline is another helpful practice, he said, noting that there are ionizers that can create this, or people can buy drops to add to their water.

Increasing the consumption of green foods is the best way to build health in our bodies, "cause if we want healthy bodies, we have to build healthy blood," he said.

Young further recommended that people get healthy amounts of salt in their diet to stay alkaline. Salts help to support the stomach, which pulls sodium, water, and carbon dioxide from the blood to form sodium bicarbonate which alkalizes the food we've eaten, and neutralizes acids from metabolism, he explained.

I even take tums to stop the acid when in pain and leave them by my bedside at night because it easy for me to reach when waking up in tremendous pain in my joints. Also, in the mornings use 1/2 tsp. baking soda stops this uric acid pain. (acv)

I left this the way it was in my mail. I did fall asleep while the subject was on and didn't get the whole show. However, I do believe in the same and practice this myself.
Soda pops are awful as far as adding acids and so is meat which turn to acid. You may think lemons are acid however fruit turns to alkaline in the body and is helpful in this problem.  If you keep the body at the right pH you'll find your energy level will automatically, naturally increase.

Chanca Piedra: is a natural ibuprofen which is bad for asthmatic's, and,  both, when your mind gets foggy it will keep it clear (about every 3 hrs for me)

STAPH FOUND IN TODAY'S MEAT SUPPLY'S

Translational Genomic Research Institute found Staphylococcus aureus (bacteria that causes staph infections, skin infections, pneumonia, blood poisoning) are present in meat in high rates. The problems is getting worse and needs to be addressed as one of the biggest issues to health today. It now needs to be corrected. At least consider babes who should never eat meat in the first place, children, pregnant mothers and the growing elderly. How about other countries? Or, is this just an American issue?
These researchers found half of the meat and poultry (47 percent) were contaminated and 52 percent were resistant to at least three classes of antibiotics.
Much of our meat is contaminated with anti biotic that's resistant Staph. (These animals pass the problems on to humans as we consume their anti biotic's and fat hormones, others such problems as chemically sprayed grass etc.)

Making Oven Vegetarian Bacon

Get ideas from my post link then try the oven method.
Vegan "Bacon" Oven method http://shermsorganicnews.blogspot.com/2009/12/making-vegetarian-bacon-its-great-meat.html
1 Block of firm, smoked tofu
sunflower oil for brushing
shoyu/soy sauce or similar maple syrup nutritional yeast flakes
This isn't an exact science and boils down more to personal taste, but this makes a crispy substitute that is better than any shop bought fake bacon I have tried:
Use a peeler to make wafer thin slices of tofu (sliding it from side to side as it is drawn down the tofu block helps)
Lightly brush each side of the tofu wafer slices with sunflower oil and place on a non-stick baking sheet
Cook in oven heated to 220 celsius for 10 minutes until crisp. Brush with a glaze mixed to taste of the shoyu or equivalent and maple syrup and sprinkle with a pinch of nutritional yeast flakes
Return to oven for a further minute to allow glaze to solidify

 Pita Chips + Hummus Dip
Pita Chips
These crunchy munchies are simply delicious and great with great salsa or hummus dip. It has 14 grams of fiber and it's whole organic
wheat so that's in a complex form, 8 grams of protein. It's much more nutritious snack than other kinds
of chips. They’re so filling but not too heavy that you’ll not need as much. Left-over bagels of various flavors can be thinly sliced using this method also.(Slice rings or the smaller ends)

Avocado, tomato and mushroom sandwich

*1 package of Whole Wheat Pita Pocket bread
*Drizzle olive oil on puff side up covering each pocket evenly (brush or with a paper towel)
*Sprinkle tops, oil side, with garlic powder (not garlic salt)
Afterwards then cut:
Cut the Pita Bread into 1/8th, or larger, pie shapes. Single layer them on a sprayed cookie sheet, then bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes or till crisp being careful to watch and not burn then turn them over for the other side. Bake a few or a lot. (These can be filled in between the slices of bread with cheese or different spreads for more of a fancier appetizers but more work.)
Hummus Dip You may want to add Chickpeas, the same as Garbanzo beans (legume) or Black Beans to your diet because they’re brain’s natural serotonin and, are considered brain food in some countries. For ¼ cup Garbanzo's have 14 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein! You can start with cook Garbanzo beans or Garbanzo Bean Flour
• *1 can Chick peas (drain and rinsed) Or, use the dry and cook as suggested on package. Cook in veg or chicken broth.
* Lowery’s Seasoning or, less sea salt to taste (Optional)
*2-3 Fresh garlic clove or just a sprinkle of the garlic powder
• *Olive oil to the desired thickness of your dip (1/4 cup +) . (Slow and gradual)
*2-tbs Lemon or lime juice+ (One lemon)
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and puree until in the mixture is a smooth paste for a dip. You can heat the above puree dip for 2-3 minutes in the microwave and then add the about 1/4 fresh chucky salsa. Hummus Dip can be garnished with some sour cream, cheese or top with an avocado. You may not want all three just a variation of taste once in a while. Or, diced tomato instead of the salsa. Watch the salt your while corn chips may have all the salt you need or in some of the other ingredients.
Variation of flavorings; of your choice can be added so check on labels for more ideas from your health food stores. You may want to use cheese, 1/2 tsp of cumin, pinch of cayenne, bit of chopped olives (they add salt), red sweet peppers or green peppers, few diced pimentos, pepper seeds, 1 tbs parsley, cilantro, i.e. or just plain. Use very little, flavoring and just enough color in the dip for presentations because beans are already heavy. If you have on hand (About 1 tsp Tahiti to 1/4 cup which is Sesame seed paste). Add It adds in more nutrients. If you want you can sprout the garbanzos do, then cook and mash.
This is more a "method" so double the recipe up the spices...or add your own flavor? If you need the dip lighter use the lighter olive oil, but you'll lose some of the flavor. And, you can use some of the bean juice (chicken/vegetable broth) in place of some of the some of the oil. It's better if you keep it simple and add in only one "optional" suggestions. In the summer you may not want to heat the dip up first.
Use Avocados as a dipped topping would be an alternative to the hummus dip. A quick style is to add 3 avocados to a avocado commercial dip. Refresh it with 1/2 lime. Or, just use 4+ avocados, 1/2 lime or lemon, 1 tsp. Lowery's seasoning salt blending in blender. Variation: You can add in 3 tbs of salsa (cayenne) if you want to spice it up.
Avocados has 14 minerals, balancing blood sugars, slow burning, fights candida, 30% mono oil, 4 grams of protein and 7-10 grams of fiber.
Avocados help the body produce Glutathione which is necessary for the liver to detoxify harmful toxins. Recent studies indicate improved liver health with the regular consumption of Avocados.

KFC Cole Slaw
The fresher the cabbage, better tasting the slaw and more nutrition we get from this vegetable. It’s one of the good cancer fighters. If not this recipe, then experiments with other cabbage recipes till you find the one your family likes then serve at least twice a month. Adding in more herbs or spices and other vegetables only makes it richer in added flavors, deliciously, nutritious, and a more complete meal when served with fresh corn bread. It's not organic unless the product has this green label.
This is a method recipe. I use a food processor for this salad. Or if you don’t have a food processor (chopper) to cut the cabbage in smaller pieces, then, dice in fine shreds or some stores they carry the very finely shredded cabbage in bags. Be sure to wash off all chemicals, for that matter, any thing that is “sacked,” and drain-dry well.
Cut the amount of cabbage for your family that is needed. It does not store to long in fridge after adding in a good mono style mayo.
Add the carrots the size depending on the size and then go more by color… sparingly. You don’t want a strong carrot taste, just a tease, but adding in beta carotene. Combine the liquids with the seasonings and beat till smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Add the liquids to the cabbage and carrots etc. and toss well.
Chopped organic or fresh in seasoned cabbage Or, buy coleslaw mix
• Shredded carrots
• 1-2 Tbs Sugar (to taste)
• Instead of sugar add in raisins
• Sea Salt
• Fresh pepper
Liquids: mix together;
• ¼ cup milk
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• ¼ buttermilk
• 1 ½ tbs. vinegar (white)
• 2-½ tbs. lemon juice (Fresh?)
• Or, skip these steps and go for the mocked KFC style. Semi made by using "Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing" seasoning. Make up fresh then follow directions on the bottle. 3 tbs. of powder in jar equals one packet. It’s basically the same as above, but KFC uses a powdered mix with dairy rather than making it up with all fresh ingredients each time. However HVRD has added spices…watch out Food Company’s can add in anything with this cover! MSG…we will never know. But it’s nice in a pinch. (Builds the body up with the vegetables, at the same time, tear it down with added chemicals?)
*8 cups of slaw will serve 6-8 (If you buy a Cole slaw mix be sure to wash out their preservatives.

NO MEAT: GOLDEN MEATY (Tofu) NUGGETS Golden Meaty (tofu) Nuggets
Here’s a basic and, more a method recipe of making wonderful tasty tofu nuggets for casseroles, salads, or just a substitute meat (depending on flavoring added. It’s very easy. You need to prepare before hand to drain the organic extra firm tofu (more fibrous organic brands.) Wrap it in a towel so to drain out the excess liquid over-night or, some freeze it first, then wrap, to drain even more bean liquid out adding a firmer texture. It’s a creative way to add in protein without over eating of animal’s protein, and far more nutrition in the utilization of plant, legume protein for healthier diets. The herb turmeric is often used with tofu because it give it such a nice color, flavor plus this herb is great for our health. I have a made a shaker up with Organic powdered chicken broth (flavored) from the bulk section of the health food store and, mix it with turmeric, pepper and or yeast etc and sprinkle a cover over my slices of tofu or mixed in tofu scrambled eggs. *Turmeric has great blood sugar and fungal control properties.
This is a bit wordy but THIS METHOD is very simple…1. Get as much liquid as possible out the tofu. 2. Flavor it 3. Fry it and enjoy.
• One tube of extra firm “organic” tofu (more fiber the better)
• Organic butter (for vegans margarine)
• 2-3 packages of Mrs. Dash
• Olive safflower, or any mono good flavor oil
• Turmeric,
• A flavorings of your choice (soy sauce, liquid amino, Worcestershire, chicken, beef powder to season.
• Sea salt if needed for some recipes? (To taste)

PREPARE AHEAD: Next morning after the tofu has been drained and wrapped in tea towel absorbing most of its moisture it is ready to slice about ¼ -1/2 inch slice, and again making into perfectly square cubes.
FLAVORINGS:
Add oil and butter for flavor so not to burn the butter frying or baking till golden in color and holding its shape. Sprinkle on these cubes with Mrs. Dash, turmeric, and powdered chicken broth i.e.. Let the cubes get golden on each side before tossing or turning. Do not break up cubes. Taste before taking off the stove to see if it’s the texture and taste you desire.
*Add in the liquid flavorings if necessary for some recipes, smoke, soy, liquid amino act as a salt, yeast flakes, i.e. or keep plain, but hold back till are almost finished cooking or it may stick. (If this happens add in some water) All are optional
Remove and drain in paper towel. They are now ready to add to any dish that would require meat or drop in a sweet and sour soup (Knorr brand has a good sweet and sour base), sandwich or, salad. I like them plain. Because the fiber is taken out of this concentrated protein bean it leans toward the high glycemic index rather than low when considering the use for diabetic. To balance it this out always serve with fibrous foods.
You can cut into slices as you would spam, rolling the tofu slices first in the dash, turmeric and imitation chicken broth, found in the bulk sections of health food stores Then fries it up absorbing more of the liquid, by adding texture, with flavoring of meat to the tofu. This will make up a very delicious Spam sandwich.
It is possible to alter this recipe by crumbling the tofu in chucky not smaller than ¼ inch following the basic method directions. This may be better for chilies with bean recipes and adding in the chili seasonings to the tofu last minute so not to burn etc.
@Freeze what you don’t use for toppings.

Left-Over Turkey or Meat Spread
12:50 PM, 23-Nov-2007 .. Posted in Main Dishes .. 0 comments .. Link
Leftover Meat Spread
• Chopped meat (baked chicken, turkey, beef, ham, Spam, hot dog, cold cuts, 6 eggs or even cooked organic tofu);
• Smaller chopped onion or green onions or fresh chives for color, + nutrients
• ½ to1 stock chopped celery
• Fresh, bit of parsley • Salt and pepper to taste
• 2 tbls + mayo (enough to hold it altogether)
• abt 1 tsp. mustard (optional, except for the egg salad)
• 1 tbls pickle relish or pickle (optional)
• Chopped Romaine Lettuce or Watercress
• Whole wheat bread, pita or, whole wheat wraps The ratio of measurements to ingredients depends on how much meat in your serving 4-6-8 etc. This is about 4 servings per 2 cup meat. This is a great way to use leftovers and especially meat you don’t really care for dark, light, neck, tail end etc. Have a handy small food chopper that can pulse the meat to desired constancy (don’t over pulse unless you want it for a fine spread for crackers i.e.)
First chop up the vegetables in a food chopper or a blender on pulse and a pickle if you don’t have relish. Leave out anything you don’t like and sub what you do like. This is basic. Pick up a small food chopper at Savors or another Thrift Store. I also make this same recipe up with 6 boiled eggs for egg salad using the same ingredients except for of course the meat.
Post Notes: Adding in Blk beans to your wraps. Rinsed cooked black beans can be added to the whole wheat wrap, diced up a tomato or. add salsa i.e. This adds more grams of fiber! After soaking beans an hour in hot water, salting the dry black beans cooked in onion-garlic and left over vegetable odds and ends of all my cooking boiling them in the soup mixture. After about an 2 hrs. read the direction on package for exact times, I then strain, rinse the beans discarding the odd and ends of all the vegetables to the garbage. I just want their nice flavors. You can use odd and ends of meat or broths for flavoring in a pinch too. (I use big freezer bags for the freezing veg. till I get enough to process as a broth.) The whole idea here is to add fiber to our diet that's hard to do.(25-35 g daily) Once a month I package in small snack plastic bag 1/2 cup of black beans in the fridge or freezer and put them in everything including just for snacks. It works for me! 1/4 cup is 12 g of fiber that nearly 1/2 the fiber needed for the day. The rest of your fiber is in the vegetables and the wrap. Never eat meat without gobs of fiber to get it through the bowel with out any hang up. Protein in 1/4 cup is 11 grams...1/2 cup is 22 really, who needs meat. RE: Read Daniel for the story of not eating meat but legumes.

No-Flour, Oatmeal Cookie 8:53 PM, 20-Nov-2007 ..Oatmeal Cookies
This is a no flour complex very high in fiber acceptable breakfast snack cookie recipe. Make this the best organic oatmeal cookies ever. So much better than then from the tasteless oatmeal cookies from health food stores that have preservatives in them. Substitute some of the organic whole oats to whole-wheat flakes or other grains when you get use to doing this recipe. Coconut, peanut butter and chocolate chip and such can be added in after making it from the original recipe first. Also, this makes up a big batch for large families (or to freeze), but I prefer to ½ the recipe making smaller batches. My neighbors use to come to my house to get this cookie. I use to always have it on hand but then my daughter moved. It was her favorite cookie recipe. I waited many years to find this kind of recipe. It may be a good recipe to store and pass onto you next generation. However, you may not want to share these gems.
Oatmeal Cookies
• 4 cups organically grown whole oats is best
• 1 or 1-3/4 cups dark brown sugar (or, to taste)
• 1 cup of pressed safflower oil (...it's the Tonalin CLA...) or Mono oil
Let the above three ingredients stand for eight hours. Then mix together the following:
• 2 well beaten organic eggs
• ½ teaspoon sea salt (high in magnesium)
• 2 teaspoons almond extract
• 1-cup nuts (slivered or chopped almonds?) Use the smallest ice cream scoop for dropping the "haystack" looking oats on a cooking sheet and round together the edges or it will brown to much. Bake for about 10 minutes or longer if you desire a crispier cookie. They need to be first baked (abt .10 minutes at 350) and then cooled on cookie sheets before removing them or they will break. Be patience they're well worth the wait. Some like these crispy, but I like them medium. Also they will naturally crisp up in storage. (Half the recipe) Do not sub "diet sugars or high fructose types of sugars" I've done honey too...mmmm? It's the egg and sugar that holds them together but it has to be soaked and baked in then cool to do the trick.

**GRANOLA: Layer the mixture out, depending on size of your lined baking tray-lined and slowly baking them at 250 for 40 minutes. Or for a more crunchy bites up to 1 hr. depending on tray size and thickness and your oven. Also, just crunch up the left-over cookies in milk, works great too. Utah Green Holiday Jello Salad This is the easiest, quickest, no boiling just mix together, cool and enjoy one of Utah's green Jello phenomenal recipe for your holidays. It will taste great if we stay away from artificial sweeteners or what I call the "fake" sugars or, corn syrup. So, get a brand name for this one recipe or the best Jell-O in your market. We don’t need to be hungrier during the holidays, which high fructose and corn syrups do to our appetites because of the blood sugar spikes. The protein in this will level b. s. out longer and the fiber. It will be hard to get hold of all vegetarians Jell-O or organic Jell-O with no bad ingredients, so I don’t bother when it’s too incumbent. If it’s in your area go for it. I do insist on my dairy that have no hormones; I seem to handle weight better and not so hungry? The Knox in the Jell-O’s good for the bone cartilage too. So I buy the basic's at the health food store although Horizon products brands is in groceries now. If you read some of the health news they are not the best brand to buy however, some say they’re not as honest in the idea of what's Organic. Usually I make up another Lime Jell-O Recipe with the chopped celery using cream cheese instead of the cottage cheese but, this year I’m doing this easy no cook version of this basic GREEN holiday salad, which Utahan’s are noted for. The plus is it has only four ingredients and cheaper for our decreasing budgets, and is just as fresh and tasty in a pinch. However if you wanted to dice up the ½ - 1 cup celery for the crunch instead of the nuts go ahead. No one every can tell what the crunch is so don’t worry about the bits of celery in it. Plus, it’s good for arthritis conditions and adds extra vegetable fiber we need. Nuts good omega's, vitamins, minerals, brain food and fiber. Green Jello Salad
• 8 ounces cool whip • 3 pkg. small lime jello (leave dry)
• 1 sm. Carton of cottage cheese (Organic is best)
• 1 can crushed pineapple Mix all ingredients well, and then add in nuts or the celery. Mold it in a long pan to serve in squares or just a bowl i.e. depends on the presentation desired. Refrigerate and Yummmmmy! Serve over a leaf of lettuce and topped with a teaspoon of cranberry, ½ of a strawberry or anything red. "Can sugar substitutes make you fat?" ---IS A google link ......................................................................

Sweet Potato Pie This Sweet Potato or Yam Pie is simple yet very delicious. It has more beta-carotene in it than broccoli or carrots! I actually prefer this recipe for the holidays because it more healthier, fresh, cheaper and easier. If you need two pie just pick a larger patato with a bit more cream and sugar to taste. I don’t like “canned” anything and this is fresher. Every one I serve this novelty to loved it.
• 1 large Yam or Sweet Organic Potato
• 1/2 cup Organic cream (about) Remember chemicals-hormones store in the fat...
• 1/2 cup brown raw sugar (can be less)
• 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spices or just cinnamon i.e.
• 2 organic eggs
• Pecans or a few walnuts for presentation but is just an optional topping (Use tin foil so the nuts don't get too brown.) Mash steamed yam (steamed or boiled that’s been cooled down) with electric mixer or food chopper and add in the other ingredients. Then sprinkle and push down a bit at the top the pie before baking with some nutmeats. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes (Check-insert the knife in center of pie. and when it comes out clean it's done.) Cool and top with whipping cream. Crust 1 cube butter, margarine, or another fat to 1-cup flour. Blend in food chopper and add tablespoons cold water till it forms a ball that can be rolled out into a piecrust. Don't add more flour. Put the ball into a freezer bag and roll out flat to the size of you pie plate. Cut the sides of the bag, lay over your pie plate, and peel off the plastic. Then fill with potato mixture and cut edges off. Or just buy a crust from the grocery. It's what I do most of the time. *This is pie is very light, if yours is too heavy, or cracks just needed more cream or less yam. How much cream really depends on the size and texture of the sweet potato or yam. This mixture should be like a cake mixture. Happy Holidays to you and your family! 12:43 PM, 13-Nov-2007

No Yeast Pioneer Donuts I get in the mood for doughnuts every fall. I don't want to ruin what I've taken a lot of time to earn...health. If I have one white flour donuts I want more but these are so satisfying that a few will do for the whole year. Here’s a very good old pioneer doughnut recipe made with no yeast. Many are into no yeast recipes today for better over-all health effects. Remember you can always make your own buttermilk by using a start from a commercial one, add it to a quart jar and top it with milk. Keep this going like you would sour dough starters. Or, just add vinegar to milk. If you use bakers whole-wheat flour use the lighter ww flour if possible (bakers whole wheat or soft spring wheat for baking) To use whole wheat use either less flour except when you’re using honey. It’s liquid enough to handle the change in absorbs ion of the fibrous whole-wheat in any recipes. These donuts are full of fiber and make great breakfasts that stay with you till noon not like the store white sugar ones. They're so satisfying that it will cure your craving for the sweeter donuts. It's a winner!
Pioneer Donuts
*1 egg.
*2-½ cup w/w flour.
* ½ cup sugar (use ½ cup honey if using *whole wheat flour).
I’ve seen a similar recipe using up to 1 cup of sugar, but try with 3/4 before going that direction. By the time you add the frosting the 1/2 cup is plenty.
*1 tsp. baking soda.
*½ tsp baking powder.
(1 tsp sea salt.
*1 tsp. nutmeg (optional or apple pie or pumpkin pie spices) or just plain cinnamon will do.
*1/8-cup warm margarine or safflower oil. A good MONO oil to fry in smaller batches
(W/w flour will always need a little more liquids and a rest for absorption, or a little less flour.) Combine all the dry ingredients then combine the wet ingredients with the sugar, and butter and mix well. Roll out to ¼" thick and cut with a doughnut cutter, or a large circle glass and a very smaller lid for the hole then stretch if need. Test the oil abt 350 degrees...Fry in hot oil until brown on both sides, drain on absorbent paper. After cooled…sprinkle with powdered, plain sugar, or use a cream cheese frosting.
(Use ½ teaspoons in 1 tbls of sugar and/or spices sprinkle on donuts.) This is great on buttered toast too. (Sprinkle with powdered sugar) Buy canned frosting for emergency’s. When I traveled to Europe I noticed the pastry's were not as sweet as in America and tasted delicious! It influence me so that I've cut back on all the sugars in my recipes, especially when frosting, sweet like ice cream, cool whip, or jams are added. A good quick frosting is in a tub added to cool whip till it stands on its own. So light.

Apple Pie Spice: is so expensive if you can even find this now. I had to make my own to use in recipes such as this one. (It's just one part cinnamon, ½ part nutmeg and ¼ part allspice) Combine and store in dark tight container. Do not store on top or near heat. Use this in anything like, apple pie, cakes, cookies and fruit dishes, that calls for cinnamon, it gives it a better tastes. This can be left out too.

Cut the donuts, after cool, in half and use as bagels with cream cheese and jelly, jams or fresh fruits like berries. The oil to use is Safflower oil or if no weight problems just use an omega 6 mono style of oil.

Post note: Yogurt acts as a good dough softener! Keeps cookies soft. Even a tablespoon can sub. for buttermilk in any recipe. Milk with vinegar will sub for buttermilk also. Please comment your thoughts and changes of YOUR recipe results. Site Meter

HYPERTENSION, BLOOD PRESSURE

High Blood Pressure
An Holistic approach will be to treat the whole body. The liver, herbals some would be milk Thistle, Dandelion, Burdock Root or seed, Chaparral (thickening of the blood will overload circulatory system) or Astragalus Root. See also “Liver pages.”
A holistic approach will include watching all the organs such as;
Kidney: Drink lots of pure water (boil water), or distilled water if your normal water has heavy metals in it. Get a juicer and use. Add some Lemons or Pomegranates and other fruit juices with foods or a bit diluted. Take herbs that are diuretic in nature to rid the body in some cases of excess water. Use a green powered drink every day.
No stimulates such as drugs, liquors or tobacco that acerbates this problem.
Nerves or hypertension herbs are helpful, use nerve’s such as Hops, Hyssops or Black Cohosh, Lobelia magnesium (1 morn and night) B complex and B vitamin etc.

Foods: No Meats, use plant base diet if acute or use very little but, never two meals consecutively especially if mild condition of the heart. Mild food plant based diet or Semi Fast no mucus less diet (no cheeses). Use complex fibrous organic foods, Green leafy Vegetables and fruits, tomato juice, lemon juice (mornings), raw organic goats milk (if possible) and very small amount of cheeses with plant based fiber.
Calcium is a problem because most drugs to treat H.B.P. deplete the body of calcium that is needed in most cases) this actually acerbates this problem. Mono oil base margarines or, real butter with no hormones and use mono oils such as olive oil. No “white food or boxed process products. Also use plenty of Apple Cider Vinegar, Tomatoes, V8 juice cabbage family and organic soy etc. Organic Westsoy I use is full of protein 9 grams and 4 fiber. Great for starting the day, or in between meals. Get the unsweetened and add your own style of sugar.
Sugars: Natural raw sugars, Stevia or raw honey, Xylitol, only.
Treat the same as “Heart” sees PG.
Book: “Heart Break in Heart Disease” by Sanotra sp All rights reserved

The heart needs mono fats: Lecithin 3 tsp. daily, or Borage oil, Flaxseed oil and cleans out arteries, Fish oil, Wheat germ, Safflower oils, i.e. (every day) 3,6,9 omegas fatty, flaxseed oil, normal pH level foods that will keep the inflammations down. (3 tsp.daily).
Herbal Aid: Cactus liquid, 10 drops daily

Other Herbs: Capsicum, (1 tsp 3 times a day) Lobelia, Hawthorn Berry, Sassafras, Garlic, Chanca Piedra phyllanthus niruri (This herb will aid in plank build up, and increases bile secretions to lower blood cholesterol levels in rat studies.) Fenugreek is a blood thinner but is not be used with pain relievers. It is not to be taken with drug for thinning the blood. Chanca Piedra is for hypertension. Melatonin is another good herb for HBP. And Royal honey.
Treat for parasites and use products such as Duflucan, fluconazol, or Nystatin, i.e. (from doctor) (Parasites are always involved) Black Walnut Hull, good organic Oregano oil, Olive Leaf extract and i.e., change from one parasitic herb to another every three months. Herbs for liver also see these studies.
A holistic approach will included especially the Colon: Senna or Psyllium and other herbal laxative, Mandrake if very sick will aid colon and liver but it is a laxative but not to be used if pregnant, or going to be. Keep the colon clear everyday. If this is not done it’s like a kinked hose and building up pressure. Fibrous plant based diet is important and/or add to the diet (Gymnema) or such fibrous herbs (foods). So is the bowel flora that is off in this condition.
Add a good yogurt such as Kefir, i.e. 3-10 days. Psyllium will sweep out pockets in colon and grab on to the parasite and toxins. Add 3mg of Senna if you still have constipations, but this is a fast moving herb to deal with and may have to be adjusted to individuals.
(Fiber foods)
Be sure to use watermelon and its seeds (organic if possible)
Remember it's called Hypertension, keep calm (Avoid really stressful situation if you can)
Kava Kava, and Ashwagandha extract, garlic, Bach Rescue Remedy in emergency's

Left-Overs Makes Great Meat or Veggie Spreads

Image result for vegetarian sandwich recipes
How about just plain veg. sandwich
avocado, tomato and green onion  etc.
SUGGESTIONS; Chopped left-over meat (baked chicken, turkey, beef, ham, Spam, hot dog, cold cuts, 6 boiled eggs, beans, potatoes, or even cooked organic tofu)---this recipe will come later

Holiday Left-overs for Meat Spreads (Organic is best, with no hormones i.e.) Or, use some of the meatless mock veggie sandwiches into a spread to this recipe (Basic)

· Smaller chopped onion or green onions or even fresh chives for color, + nutrients

· ½ to 1 stock smaller chopped celery

· Fresh, bit of parsley

· Salt and pepper to taste

· 2 tbls + mayo (enough to hold it altogether) (sub, Greek yogurt) +season)

· abt 1 tsp. mustard (optional, except for an egg salad)

· 1 tbls pickle relish or pickle (optional)

· Chopped Romaine Lettuce or Watercress

· Whole wheat bread, pita or, whole wheat wraps

The ratio of measurements to ingredients depends on how much meat in your serving 4-6-8 etc. This is about four servings per 2-cup meat. This is a great way to use leftovers especially meat you do not really care for the dark, light, neck, tail end etc. Have a handy small food chopper that can pulse the meat to desired constancy (don’t over pulse unless you want it for a fine spread for crackers i.e.)

First, chop up the vegetables in a food chopper (don't over process unless you like it this way,)or a blender on pulse and add in a pickle if you do not have relish. Leave out anything you do not like and sub what you do like. This is basic method type of recipe for any meat spread. Pick up a small food chopper at Savors or another Thrift Store. Also make this same recipe up with six boiled eggs for egg salad using the same ingredients except for of course the meat. (Crush the eggs, add the above recipe all in a large baggy, squash then chill and spread on bread or crackers.)

Garnishes: Adding in Black or garbanzo beans to your wraps. Rinsed cooked black beans can be added to the whole-wheat wrap, diced up a tomato or, add salsa i.e. (This will adds more grams of fiber!)

Use Cans, drain or start from scratch: After soaking beans an hour in hot water, salting the dry black beans cooked in onion-garlic and left over vegetable odds and ends to all my months cooking, boiling them in the soup mixture. After about a two hrs. Read the direction on package for exact times, then strain, rinse the beans, discarding the odd and ends of all the vegetables to the garbage. We just want their nice flavors. (You can use odd and ends of meat or broths for flavoring in a pinch too). (I use big freezer bags for the freezing any vegetable ends or left overs until I get enough to process as a nice broth.) If you brown them first, and use the brown bits, the flavor is the best. Even store bought broths are not as rich as by processing them with this method

The whole idea here is to add fiber to our diet that is hard to do. (25-35 grams daily) So, once a month I package in small snack plastic bag 1/2 cup of black beans in the fridge or freezer and put them in everything including just for snacks. It works for me! 1/4 cup is 12 g of fiber that nearly 1/2 the fiber needed for the day. The rest of your fiber is in the vegetables and the wrap. Never eat meat without gobs of fiber to get it through the bowel without any hang-ups.

Protein in 1/4 cup is 11 grams...1/2 cup is 22 really, who needs meat.
