The art of "Clay Healing's" is ancient: John 9: 6, 11, 14-15
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. 14 And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
Job reminds us; "What are we made of: Job 10: 9" Also; Moses said in Genesis 2:7 that God formed man of the dust (or clay: The Hebrew word for dust or clay is aphar) of the ground.
9 Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again? I also am formed out of the clay. (...meaning we are of those same elements (laws of nature, carnal bodies/tabernacle of clay.)
35 And the Lord spake unto Enoch, and said unto him: Anoint thine eyes with clay, and wash them, and thou shalt see. And he did so.

Eating clay (dirt) is worldwide (called, "geophagy") for centuries from ancient Greeks to North America Native Americans. The practice is common in Saharan Africa and brought to the US by African slaves used in their rituals.
Clay absorbs toxins, some from toxic alkaloids and tannic acids that would make foods inedible.(RE: Dr. David L. Katz, nutritional expert at Yale School of Medicine.)
Clay is full of minerals, high levels of calcium, iron, copper, cobalt, magnesium silicon, iron or potassium etc depending on the clay source. . It especially good for pregnant women. It has a calming effect on gastrointestinal system, that can succumb the bouts of nausea and morning sickness. (Raspberry root and its leaves in a tea can help too.)

And others use in their formulas for nausea and stomach upsets in antacid compounds found in white kaolin clays? Drunks used to drink clay in water then go to work the next day.
In Africa, they eat dirt from termite mounds because it is richer in minerals. However, not all clay is equal, depending on its source. I use Orsa as a cosmetic mask, my best beauty secret.

http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/clay.htm#a (A great site on different clays.) Used in the "Balkan War of 1910 for cholera among the soldiers from sixty percent down to three percent. New research at Arizona State University shows some forms of clay actually kill salmonella, E. coli, MRSA and Mycobacterium ulcerans, which causes flesh-eating disease.
Technically, the clay first adsorbs toxins (heavy metals, free radicals, pesticides), attracting them to its extensive surface area where they adhere like flies to sticky paper; then it absorbs the toxins, taking them in the way a sponge mops up a kitchen counter mess. Clay’s absorptive and absorptive qualities may be the key to its multifaceted healing abilities. Knishinsky reports that drinking clay helped him eliminate painful ganglion cysts (tumors attached to joints and tendons, in his case, in his wrist) in two months, without surgery. No two clays are alike, each has its own fingerprints and different ionic electrical charge, and purity.
Remember Jesus Christ used clay as an healing agent for the blind. He also used natural means such as Balm i.e.
Clay molecules carry a negative electrical charge while impurities carry a positive charge. With the clay the positively charged ions are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces of the clay molecule. An exchange reaction occurs in which the clay mineral ions are swapped for the ions of the positive charged substance. The clay molecule is now electrically satisfied and holds onto the positive ion until our bodies can eliminate both.
Another counsel is if taken clay internally, eat with lots of fiber or it can slow down the bowel more than you desire.
The bottom line is minerals not vitamins are most important to heal the body. There is no such thing as a vitamin in the true sense. They are culls of inorganic plants or from plant oils or made made chemical vitamins manufactured by the drug company's. It's blindsided, mineral is what the body needs and is made from...the earth's elements. (...Remember the chemistry class of natural minerals on the wall? Same thing...
"Balms" in history or scriptures are what was used back in Christ's time frame.
Gen 43:11 "...and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts and almonds..."
Jer. 8: 22
22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Jer. 46: 11
11 Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt:
Jer. 51: 8
8 "...take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed."
Ezek. 27: 17
17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm. (...preserved in oils, bee wax in fats with different herbs in small pottery. Their Herbs were used to preserve it and there were many different balms for illness and very valuable.) I often use clay as a base for Aloe Vera, keeping it on facials or a burn and oxygen out. Do not use a cosmetic clay, which is too course, for eyes. "Orsa" white refined clay was ground really fine...test them out first.

Note: I'm not sure about taking tablets, if you do this method, chew the pill up, use lots of water, high fibrous whole wheat bread to sent through the colon.
